Don’t go there! He’ll use two some times 3 different brands of tint to complete your car. They’ll look through your car and trunk to see what you have and etc…

Best place if you want quality work for a loww loww price. I got my windows retinted here and they also installed a Raider decal light under my car so that the emblem showed on the floor while I’m driving. Sick. I constantly get compliments on it from a majority of fans. It was cheap to install, a must have!

I have come here for my last two cars… Fair prices, quick service, and quality work. Keep your receipt! They give you a seven year warranty against bubbling and fading of your tint. I highly recommend them!

Had my wife’s car dropped off did all the back Windows advised of how to clean looks like a clean job will take all my vehicles there thanks for the good work

This place is awesome I wanted my windows tinted they got me in fast and did a amazing job. Definitely going to recommend all my friends and family.

I made an appointment for a specific time and date. upon arrival, was told it would be about three hours before they had a chance to start my vehicle. and an additional two hours to complete the task.
Not good form! especially when I pulled up I noticed two of the employees sanding a hood of a car instead of tinting windows.
Went to their competitor who is also in town and received. «PLATINUM TINT» service.
The moral to this story is, when you make a promise, keep it!

Second set of windows are done. Same professional service. Would definitely use them again. 10 year warranty on all of our windows. Can’t beat that.

Called to get a quote and they were able to see me the same day. Wonderful customer service and they were very fast & the quality of their work was perfect! I will recommend them to all of my friends.
My previous car that I got tinted elsewhere was a mistake. I was over charged and it took hours to get the job done. I am very happy that my friends recommended me to this business.

Hade to take my cars back… the quality of there work is bad. there cuts look like a 5 year old made them… they trim alot of rubber on the window… now the window leaks air… DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.!!WILL POST PICS SOON

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! Not only is their work horrible, but when we brought our car back because the tint was peeling 8 months later WITH A RECEIPT THAT SAYS 7 YEARS WARRANTY, the owner not only REFUSED to fix it, but said that he did not do the tint on our car… mind you, WE HAVE A DATED RECEIPT from this business. This place is a scam, the owner is a dirty thief and I WILL BE filing small claims, better business bureau and police reports… save yourself the time, energy and money and go elsewhere… even a farther drive will be worth it…

Do not go here! Brought my truck in for window tint, taillight tint, and to have my B pillars wrapped black. The next day, taillight tint is halfway peeled off and the and B pillars were cut wrong and looked terrible. Made an appointment to have B pillars and taillights redone. After 4 hours, my taillights were redone and B pillars fixed. Get home and see where they had gouged paint at base of my B pillar and covered it with «without» liquid paper. There was whiteout on the new vinyl wrap so I knew it was them. Called them and they fessed up and said the guy was supposed to tell me he dashed my truck. Yeah right. They offer to have a body shop «guy» fix it. At the same time, my front window starts peeling off and passenger side taillight again.
So for a 3^rd time I bring it from Monterey to gilroy to get the window tint, taillight tint fixed and see about getting my money back for the paint damage. Told Danny I did not trust them to fix it correctly and Id have my body shop fix it.
When they finish fixing things for the 3^rd time and give me my money back, I notice 5 fresh pressure dents in my truck body all around the taillight they just fixed the tint on. I showed the new damage to the owner Danny and he denies everything. Even though I showed him pictures without dents I had taken earlier in the morning before the appointment. He refuses to fix it and now I’m stuck filing a police report, Better Business Bureau complaint, rip off report, small claims court and insurance claim against them.
I cannot imagine a worse experience with a company than this. Please take warning and do not go the Blackout a Window Tint. Their prices are not better than others and as seen in other reviews, they will damage your vehicle!

Danny and associate did a wonderful job on my Toyota Prius C. Their price is very reasonable. I would recommend to my friends and family. For better result, do not roll down window After a week until it is fully cured. I leave my car outside toward the sun light to have the tinted cured faster. Do not be alarm when you pick up your car as the tint are install. You will see very small bubble but it will disappear. You can choose any type of shade and they deliver as promise. Once again thank you.

I was surprised to see all the negative feedback for this place when I looked them up to get a phone number to make an appointment. I’ve worked in Gilroy for the past ten years and they have tinted all of my cars VW Jetta, 4Runner, 330ci, 540, XC70, and most recently my 1 day old 2013 Chevy Volt. While I do agree that these guys are not always the most punctual bunch you have to understand they tint car windows for a living, so don’t expect banker’s hours. Bottom line, they do great work at an awesome price; I’ve never had a bad experience with the exception of waiting for them when they run a little late.

I think these guys are great for the price! I showed up for my appointment at 9:30 on a Saturday and they were already there and ready to go.
The tint job looks great! I did find a little hair caught between the tint and the window on my back right side and a small bubble on the front driver side window. Truly nothing that anyone who wasn’t OCD like myself would ever notice.
I took my car back to the shop and had the guys check it out. They were MORE than happy to do the job again on those windows should I decide to.
For now, I opted against that because no one and nothing is perfect and they are just small aesthetic blemishes that do not cause damage to my windows.
These guys are great and anyone willing to deal with my OCD tendencies deserves a great review!!!

This place sucks BIG TIME. They don’t know how to keep a apointment. I went the day before my appointment and they put down on their appointment book for 2:30 Friday. I got there at 2:25 the next day Friday, at my appointment time and they tell me that they forgot about me and took in all the cars they could do for that day. They asked me if I could come back the next day, Saturday. This was the third time I had been there and I don’t live in Gilroy. These punks look like they are walking around stoned all day. NEVER will I go back to this dump.

Third time is NOT the charm. First car done by Danny, 3 series BMW. Good job. Second car done by Danny, 5 series BMW good job. Third car done by Danny, Mercedes 350CLK, Which he was 2 hours late for an appointment that HE made for me $ 250 worth of scratch damage that after I sent him a bill for the repair… NO response or payment. Small claims court for Danny. He has complete idiots working for him and I really should have known better when I saw his stellar crew and their antics while they were scratching up my car. I wouldn’t recommend this company to tint a glass jar.

I been here a few times, my brother referred me to this place. They do a good job got my lexus is300 done here and coming back to get my civic tinted. They have reasonable prices compared to other locations and they do a good job, yes they dont answer the phones all the time or get back the messages right away but its worth calling over and over till someone picks up to get the work done LOL ide recommend this place. The guys are pretty nice too, atleast they have to me when ive gone in.

Called last Friday afternoon to set up a weekend appointment, no one answered so I left a message.
Well, today is Wednesday and I have not heard back. Really poor business practice if you ask me; it’s a shame because I hear they do some good work and their quote was cheap.

I went in yesterday afternoon to inquire about pricing and to set up an appointment. The prices were reasonable so I made an appointment to come back this morning.
Needless to say I expected someone to actually be working when I arrived. Doors were locked and no one was around. I waited 15 minutes before giving up. I left a message hours ago which has yet to be returned.
I can’t speak to the quality of their work but if it’s in any way comparable with how they schedule appointments I would chose someone else.

These guys actually do a pretty good job. The standard tint comes with a 7 year warranty and I think it cost about $ 200 for 7 windowswhich isn’t ridiculously high, but not exactly cheap either.
Howvever, if you do bring in multiple cars like your friends or a second car, they are very generous and will discount you very well. We brought in 3 cars total and only payed about 150 per car (2 had 7 windows done, and the other one had 5)
Its a small shop, and they can only work on two cars at a time so wait took forever, but other then that, quality work so its ok in my book.
