We moved to Gilroy recently and wanted our heating system checked out before the winter season. We also needed to insulate the air ducts from the furnace. Guy came down promptly and checked everything. His wonderful workers did the whole job promptly and were very pleasant also. The quote was very reasonable. We are very happy with the work they do and will surely use them for our heating, cooling needs. Thank you Guy.

We recently had Solar panels installed on our home and followed by having Guy’s team rip out our 40-​year-​old propane furnace and ductwork and replace with a state-​of-​the-​art dual-​fuel heat pump HVAC system (for heating and cooling). From the moment we requested a quote until the final sign-​off inspection we received expert and professional service from Guy and his team — George, Manuel, et al. The system we chose is highly complex and a bear to install due to the level of efficiency it delivers, and required HERS testing and thorough inspection under the stricter Title 24 mandates that went into effect on July 2014. The team took everything in stride and we were confident that our installation would pass with flying colors… Given their attention to detail on every phase of our project. But we were bowled over when first our HERS rater, then the California Certification board, and finally our inspector approved the installation «with excellence». «This is the best installation I’ve ever rated», the CalCert person told us … «And that’s including new-​home installations. We never see this level of installation efficiency on older homes such as yours.» Need I say more? If you need an HVAC installation, call Guy. His prices are highly competitive, and his team’s craftsmanship is unsurpassed… Plus, they’re just a joy to have around.

I don’t know about their service but, their drivers leave a LOT to be desired. The one we encountered ran a stop sign, cutting us off, almost causing an accident as there were cars behind us. He then proceeded to wave and repeatedly «brake check» us after we honked the horn. Next, he pulled over and got out to confront us but, we kept on going so, he quickly hopped back in the company van and tailgated us for approximately 1 mile, changing lanes every time we did. He finally pulled up next to us and told the passenger to roll down the window. They refused and he waved furiously to get their attention to request they roll down the window again and the request was refused again so, he mouthed he wanted to do something to the driver. If this is how they conduct themselves in a company vehicle, I will NEVER utilize their services no matter how good their reputation is due to the SEVERE lack of professionalism!

Guy’s Heating and AC has been exceptional on a major residential HVAC project. Not just Guy himself, who is great, but his team is also top notch. Maurice, the install lead, really impressed me with his attention to detail and his work ethic. They ripped out my severerly aged furnace, installed a new-​fangled attic furnace, hooked in my AC lines, vented it, and re-​ducted everything via the attic instead of the split floor/​attic system we had previously. They got this all done withing 3 days. And it really felt like they were working on their own house, not just cranking out another contract. Inspection signed off on first pass, new system is running great. Really, really pleased. Thanks Guy & team!

Highly recommend Guy’s heating and air services. We’ve had him out multi times for different reasons. His price quotes are very reasonable. We have a small child and had no AC or heat upstairs due to some faulty ducting. During this past summer it was brutal on the baby at night. Had no way to cool upstairs and her bedroom. Guy came out with a small team and added dampers to our ducting, patched holes and repaired a leaky furnace pan which corrected the problem. I can’t thank him and his crew enough. We now have about 1 degree difference from up and downstairs throughout the year. The system works as it should. My hat goes off to Guy.

After being told by PG&E that they could not fix our furnace, I called Guy to set up an appointment. As per his voice mail, I left a message and he got back to me later that day. Today after a couple of hours of trouble shooting with no apparent cause as to the issue, he took a pic. to see if there was anything inside (he found the furnace paperwork under the burner assembly, half singed!) and removed the blower to remove paperwork. I can honestly say he has saved our home from a possible fire! Very honest, professional and polite, I would hire him again anytime!

Guy came out to do our furnace and air conditioning and basically do all the HVAC on our home since we had just moved. He was very nice, good pricing and he did more than he had to do when we asked him. He provided good quality work as well. We would def. use him and his crew again. Thanks Guy!

Our air conditioner broke during one of the hottest weeks of the year! I called around to a few places and came across Guy. I am BIG on customer service and he definitely met my expectations, plus he is reasonably priced. He sent someone out the next morning and our air conditioner is up and working again! I would highly recommend Guy’s Heating and Air Conditioning.

Our A/​C in our apartment seemed to be having issues and when we called the apartment manager they called Guy’s. He came over and worked out the problem in not time flat. He was AWESOME to deal with. Super friendly and helpful.

My tenant was having trouble with their thermostat not keeping the preset settings, so I needed to find someone local to take a look at it. I came across Guy’s listing here on Unilocal,and although he had only one great prior review, I took a chance and called him.
I was VERY impressed!
Guy took the time out of his busy day to go to my rental house to address the issue; he installed a new thermostat, tested the system, and even followed up with my tenant to make sure she was happy.
Guy also gave me a detailed explanation of the problem, and how it was fixed. I was also very happy with the charges and work he performed. Very fair and reasonable. Guy is very professional and extremely friendly.
I cannot recommend him enough, and will not hesitate to give him a call regarding any future Heating and Air Conditioning needs I may have.
