Dr. Sullivan has received advanced training from the world’s leading educators in dentistry. He is a graduate of Pacific Aesthetic Continuum, one of the most recognized cosmetic dentistry training programs. He has also completed numerous courses at the prestigious Seattle Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. Labeled as a perfectionist by his patients, Dr. Sullivan is passionate about his profession. As such, he is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and is also a member of numerous local study groups. Best dentist ever! Had some real challenges with the loss of one of my front teeth and much of gum above it… but he was persistent in doing ‘many’ extra steps to get me a beautiful smile. I doubt if any dentist out there could have fixed my gum loss problems and restored my smile so well. Again, best dentist, absolute pro! go there if you want the best.

Moved here from NY and needed to find a new dentist. I found Dr. Sullivan online and after reading all the wonderful reviews decided to give him a try. I made the right choice! Dr. Sullivan and his entire staff are very friendly and make you feel right at home. The office was very clean and they have all the newest technology. On my first visit, they gave me a tour of the office and were very thorough in taking x-​rays and explaining everything in detail. Margo, the dental hygienist was awesome! During your cleaning, they offer you a paraffin hand-​wax and heated neck-​roll which was a pleasant surprise. I scheduled another cleaning after 3 months and my teeth were much better. They also have a great referral program. I definitely recommend Dr. Sullivan if you are looking for a new dentist. You won’t be disappointed!

After seeing the same dentist for 20 years in another state it was strange going into a new office. That quickly went away once I walked in. The office is very nice and the employees are even nicer. Dr. Sullivan and his staff epitomize what modern dentistry is. I feel I have found my dentist for the next 20 years.

I have a very sensitive jaw (severe tmj) and Dr. Sullivan’s staff are soooo gentle and very patient, allowing me time to rest my jaw during procedures as necessary. They don’t make me feel like I am burning time, when I need it. The care on my teeth is awesome, the healthiest ever! Kudos!

By far the worst dental experience I have ever had in my life. I don’t even know where to begin. Not only did he forget to mention how much everything would cost, but his bedside manner was completely lacking. The entire time he was working on my teeth he was yelling at his employees, demeaning them in front of me. It was so bad that when he left the room his assistant apologized for his behavior. I had to go back again to see him and actually recorded him on my phone because it was so over the top i wanted to show my family. I have never been scared of going to the dentist before now. He made me feel so uncomfortable. Like I was burdening him by just being there. If you use this guy on a regular basis than you don’t know what a real dentist is like. His work may be good, but it is extremely over priced and comes with a lot of stress. The biggest joke was when i went to another dentist who is also highly regarded to finish some of the dental work Sullivan told me i needed, the dentist said i didn’t need the work at all! I give tons of positive reviews on Unilocal but couldn’t let this one go. He gets great reviews and I am honestly baffled by it. Good luck if you decide to try him out… I would think twice.

If you are looking for a new dentist look no further. Amazing service, friendly staff and thorough dental work. They give you a tour of the office and explain everything in as much or as little detail as you would like. During cleanings and treatments they offer a complementary paraffin hand wax, a heated neck wrap and a fan (upon request). Dr Sullivan is amazing and will work with you in a pressure free environment. They take the time to get to know you and your needs.

Absolutely the best dentist in all of Arizona! Great location! Clean facility! Positive and professional staff! Latest in dental equipment! And of course I cannot forget this place has the amazing Dr. Sullivan!
Dr. Sullivan knows exactly what he is doing and is quite the perfectionist so there is no need to worry about having the most beautiful teeth. Of all the dentist offices that I have been to, this one is most certainly the best. I was recommended to him by a relative and I would recommend him in a heart beat to anyone seriously looking for a professional and skilled dentist! Go Dr. Sullivan!

I have never had great experiences with the dentist. One particular experience left me so upset, I had not been to a dentist in a long time before I found Dr. Sullivan. I was very apprehensive on my first visit, even though I had read nothing but good things about this office. But, I have to say, they are great. Ashley is my hygienist. She is wonderful. She goes through and explains everything that she finds and will answer any questions. I went in on the first visit thinking of a plan that I had for closing the gaps in my teeth. Dr. Sullivan listened to what I wanted and then offered options based on what I told him was most important to me. The office staff was so easy to work with. We based my appointments on what work was priority and also my budget. My daughter, who has also had miserable experiences with the dentist, sees Brittany. She is great. With the warm hand wax and neck roll, my daughter feels like she gets the royal treatment. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone. They are all fantastic.

I can’t rave enough about Dr. Sullivan and his practice. I’m a massive dental-​phobe and get severe anxiety and panic attacks when even thinking about having to go to the dentist. Most dental visits started with sleepless nights before, and ended in tears.
A friend recommended Dr. Sullivan to me, and my life has seriously changed. Ashley is the BEST dental hygienist ever and really takes time with me to explain what she’s doing so I won’t get anxious. Dr. Sullivan is also really great. Oh, and the paraffin hand treatment and heated neck wrap during cleanings don’t hurt either. I’m not kidding — going to see Dr. Sullivan is like a mini-​spa session!

I have been seeing Dr. Sullivan for approx 10 years. My two front teeth are false and I have had some «Very Educational» front teeth made for me. When I found Dr Sullivan, my front teeth were beyond educational and when he was done, they looked like a Million Bucks! The office staff is great. I love «My Maria»! Maria and I have spent many afternoons together. Brittany is awsome too. Only the best at Dr Sullivans!

Very thorough and they use all the latest equipment and techniques. Brittany is AMAZING! She makes going to the dentist enjoyable. The lifetime whitening package is a plus too :) Not a huge fan of the 2 day cancellation policy, though, but business is business, I guess!

Most thorough dental exam I have ever had. I really appreciated getting to see my x-​rays and the detailed explanation of what I was looking at. For the first time, I feel like I’m a real partner in making decisions about my dental health, instead of a just another patient being told what to do. And the complimentary paraffin hand treatment and warm neck roll during my cleaning appointment made it feel more like a trip to the day spa than to the dentist!

Long time patient here, I’ve been a fan since 2000.
The office staff is fantastic. You will be received like they LIKE you. They’re true professionals and have regular training to keep their skills at their best. True professionals, they’re why I travel from Avondale to Gilbert.
Dr. Sullivan is an excellent and well-​skilled cosmetic dentist. He’s also reasonably conservative and a good read of his patients’ concerns. He suggests treatments to keep your smile looking great, though he’s also done a good job of avoiding anything over the top that would make me uncomfortable.
He’s good at pain management, a huge plus.
They appreciate and respect your time. The office has — don’t know what it’s called — the machine that makes crowns. If you have to have one, there are not 3 appointments. 20 minutes later, it’s done.
Best: if you’re in pain, you can get hold of the doctor. True patient care all the way round.

I highly recommend Dr. Sheldon Sullivan. He is a masterful dentist, who uses the most up to the minute, hi-​tech instruments. I am from Los Angeles, but have lived in AZ on and off for the past couple of years. I had a problem with an implant put in by another dentist, and Dr. Sullivan fixed it. He found problems with crowns that had margins in them, which allow for decay. He made the crown for a new implant and he did an amazing job. He filled my many cavities. He is a totally PAINLESS dentist. I usually suffer a lot of anxiety when I go to the dentist, but Dr Sullivan and his staff put me at ease. I’ve never been so comfortable in a dentist chair. I actually come from Los Angeles to have Dr. Sullivan work on my teeth. His assistants are so well trained and professional. Dr. Sullivan explains everything to me when I have questions. He is very kind and patient. I have never felt so confident with a dentist. I also had my teeth cleaned by his hygienist, and my teeth have never looked so good. Dr. Sullivan is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He is the best.

I have been going to Dr. Sullivan for more than 6 years. He and his staff are fantastic and extremely professional. The office is extraordinary clean and sanitary and they even have DVD glasses that you can watch while you are getting a long treatment. They also have chocolate chip cookies freshly baked for you on your way out of the office. They accept numerous types of insurance plans and do also have financing available if necessary. Dr. Sullivan has also been featured in the top 100 doctors in Phoenix metro area for many years now and one visit to his office you will quickly know why. The staff at his office make the experience of going to the dentist’s office extremely bearable and pleasant. They are very accommodating when you need an appointment, they can find a way to sneak you in if it is an emergency. When setting an appointment, be sure to do so with plenty time notice, he is a very requested and respected doctor in the Gilbert community and may have a few week time line to get a regular appointment but you will be pleasantly surprised and will immediately know why.
