We had our baby here last November and my Appendix taken out yesterday. Everyone has been very nice to my family and I during our stays. I feel like i am in great care when i am in this hospital. I definitely recommend this hospital.

I am blown away by the ER night crew on ¹⁄₂₃. I brought my fiancé in with what was thought to be severe left knee pain. After getting an x-​Ray, we were told he suffered a left femoral fracture. There are so many that need special recognition, from the ER, the surgeon and the nurses on the 4^th floor. Everyone was professional, treated my fiancé with respect and went above and beyond. I would love to recognize people by name if contacted because there were so many shining stars from the point of arrival to being discharged on the 26^th.

Delivered my son here back in June. All the nurses and doctors were so amazing. I ended up getting a c section due to complications but I always felt comfortable and never felt pressured into any decisions which was a huge fear of mine. I stayed a few days, the beds are amazing, food was surprisingly really good. I wish the couches in the room were nicer. I wanted my husband to stay with me during the nights but he had such back problems from the sofa he couldn’t do it after the first night. I remember not wanting to leave though and was surprised how much I actually enjoyed delivery and being in the hospital LOL. I will definitely go here again for any medical needs.

Just saying this is the best hospital! I’ve been here with the birth of my child. Wonderful experience. And also had a couple extended stays this summer. Best doctors and best staff. Nurses act like they genuinely care about you and are so sweet.

We had our baby here and I would recommend it to any couple having a baby. ALL the nurses were very nice and caring and handled all our needs. The rest of the staff was great too. We were here four days and they made it feel as close to home as possible. Thank you Genny, Michelle, Tina, Kathy, Suzanne, Mary and the rest.

My wife and I had our baby here and the medical staff was incomparable. What they did for my wife I will never forget. They helped every step of the way and comforted her. All of the staff was wonderful, especially Lesley, Toni, Suzanne and Mary. Thank you all for your hard work and for what you did for us!

I just wanted to let Banner know, I finally got someone to listen to my son and I and he is being treated to solve his issues. No thanks to Banner.

I unfortunately have to visit this ER frequently as I’m a chronic migraine sufferer. I’m writing this review because the ER staff has improved SO MUCH over the last few years. The last few times I’ve had to visit I’ve had exceptional care. They tend to keep you for a while but I don’t mind because they’re very thorough. Keep up the good work! I actually used to tell people to steer clear of this ER if they could.

I recently visited their ER after a fall. Right from check-​in, the hospital had a customer service outlook with an emphasis on sensitivity. I was impressed that the first item of business was what was wrong with me and not what insurance I had. During my stay, the staff were professional, caring and friendly, understanding my concerns. While I was diagnosed with broken ribs and a broken arm, every step was explained in detail and the staff went above board to attend to my every question and request. The only thing that I believe the hospital could do to improve would be to make a call to their patients the next day to see how they are doing. Just one more personal touch that would fit well into their overall business plan. This one point does not take away from their 5 star rating!
Great job and keep up the good work! While I am hopeful I won’t need this type of service again any time soon, I do know where I would go and who I would recommend to family and friends.

Was in a car accident and had a concussion. The worst part was that my leg started to go numb and I was really worried about what it could have meant in terms of an injury. I had a pretty significant back surgery serval months before this and I just wanted to make sure I was OK. We waited for 2 hours in the ER and maybe 5 people were called back. We packed up and headed to Mercy Gilbert. The administration here needs to evaluate their ER… Stat.

Went to the ER last night after a head on collision in my car. Just wanted to get checked out but after almost 3 hrs waiting I left without being seen by a dr. They said they were full. Go elsewhere or call an ambulance

Was diagnosed yesterday with an infected lymph node and started taking antibiotic. Today my fever spiked to 102 and I have pain all over my body. Went in and waited an hour… NOT ONE PERSON WAS CALLED BACK. At least 6 people in front of me. I rather wait at home for 4 hrs and call an ambulance if it gets worse. Will never come back here.

Beyond me how anyone could rate this hospital with one star.
Unfortunately I have experience with hospitals. Banner Gateway is one of the very best.

I would not recommend this place to my enemy. The doctors staff are very unprofessional and uncaring. It is very busy and like Bob Seger says, you will «feel like a number.» They scheduled me for foot surgery and when I showed up after fasting and giving myself a anti-​bacterial bath, they told me the surgery had been cancelled. No notice to me, I felt like a fool. The next thing I know they called me and asked me why I did not show for my procedure, as it turns out, after they cancelled my original surgery they rescheduled it and fail to notify me of the new surgery date. I still live with my foot pain everyday and I am sure they couldn’t care less. You have been warned.

I will never return to this hospital. The first time I came to this hospital was for my finances mother’s surgery. She was treated so kindly and the staff was awesome. BUT when it came to my experience it was different. I was expecting my first child due on July 2^nd. I went in on the morning of June 27^th and the triage nurses were horrible. I had maybe one that was helpful. They went ahead and sent me home being that I was not dilated enough. I came back around 4pm and the nurse finally admitted me. They took good care of me all the way until after my delivery. I sat in my filthy sheets for about 4 hours before they actually gave me a room. Also all the nurses treated me and my fiancée horribly for our entire stay. What should have been a beautiful experience and a happy time for our new family turned out to be a giant nightmare. For certain reasons I will not say, I was not helped in learning on how to breast feed my child. No would explain to why this was happening until I demanded to speak to someone of higher authority. And all because of this situation I was beyond stressed in a time where I should of have been filled with happiness. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS HOSPITAL.
ALSO I forgot to add I had to deal with a social worker at this hospital and she was completely rude. Would not listen to me or my fiancée. She did not provide other parties involved in the situation with the correct information and she would not let me be released until she had made certain phone calls. I swear the women was trying to ruine my life as well as take my child. As I look back at this time it breaks my heart.

Had a procedure done here last week after miscarrying, and the staff/​nurses were all very sweet. My surgery was scheduled for 10 am, and me being paranoid asked for one last ultrasound before they did the procedure. It backed up the surgery by over an hour, and although I could tell the doc wasnt too happy about it, he still let it happen, and the nurses were all understanding. I am happy I used this hospital, and my mom and husband who were there with me were impressed with how nice everyone was as well. The only thing that went wrong was they had to try 7 times with the iv to get it right, which left me pretty bruised up. they had to end up putting me under with a mask and then do an iv when I was out cold… But that really wasnt their fault, I believe I was dehydrated. I just wish they put me under and did what they did, before they tried 7 times.

This hospital instead of looking into complaints, and trust me they have many others, they just delete. Look at my public Facebook I Posted there too.
People go to you sometimes because they are dying and you don’t care how the Dr.‘s treat the patients. It is is only about their ego’s, not your life.

Do not go to this ER. Very unprofessional, uncaring, to the point of unsafe. Reading the other reviews has convinced me to never ever return for emergency care. 0 stars. The front staff «care» was so unprofessional I felt like I was in some sort of comedy show where the staff is overly unfriendly for comedy sake only, my life was at stake. They really could not have cared less.

Review as a visitor — I haven’t been a patient here.
I have been spending way too much time in hospitals lately.
This one was for the daughter of a friend in for some serious internal stuff.
I spent time with her in the ICU — as well as 2 «regular» rooms.
The hospital is well laid out, good signage, and not so large you can log a 5K getting from the parking lot to the rooms. It’s new and clean, well appointed and almost seems more resort-​y than hospital-​y. (Piped in jazz with birds chirping playing outside, color-​changing LED fixtures, etc.)
The staff has been hit and miss — but I think that would take place anywhere. When they are on, they are GREAT and the treatment I watched is everything you could want, other instances, It seems communication is a bit of an issue. (Too busy to log into the nearest computer and check the chart prior to entering the room? Could be — but it gives the impression the left hand doesn’t always know what the right is doing.)
I am not a fan of foodservice only being from 7am to 7pm.
And I really can’t stand hospitals — so for me to consider one as A-​OK is really quite good.
