ICON Audio Technologies is a car audio specialty business. We sell and install high-​end car audio products and accessories. We also install and troubleshoot most vehicle electronics both factory and aftermarket. Our specialty is custom car audio and fabrication.

History

Established in 2006.

This business was started by Travis Leonard, a Gig Harbor native born in 1977. Travis has military training in vehicle electronics. Travis opened the business as Gig Harbor Auto Works in 2006 and soon after changed the name to ICON Audio Technologies.

Travis has an advanced history of mobile electronics and installation. This history starts in the U.S. Army where he was part of the Advanced Warfighter Experiment out of Ft. Hood, Texas. This unit focused on using new technology to gain advantage on the battlefield. From there Travis entered the civilian world as a sales expert at CarToys in 1999. Travis has managed sales and install teams at CarToys, Circuit City and Best Buy. Travis started ICON Audio Technologies in 2006 out of Gig Harbor, WA. Since then ICON Audio has made a huge impression on the high-​end car audio market. The reputation for quality and integrity is unmatched.
