Dr. Smita Parikh Mengers was recently named «Among the Best Pediatricians» by readers of Washington Families Magazine. Dr. Mengers graduated magna-cum laude from Case Western Reserve University with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology. She received medical training at Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, OH. Dr. Mengers completed her pediatric residency at Georgetown University Hospital.
She has been practicing Pediatric Medicine in Maryland since 1992, when she joined a private practice in Montgomery county. Dr. Mengers has had her own practice since 1999.
Dr. Mengers is Board Certified in Pediatrics, and has a special interest in travel medicine. She is on the faculty at George Washington University, and enjoys teaching students from the university in her office. Dr. Mengers is also on the staff of Shady Grove Hospital.
