We have created a community of artists who would like to share their passion for art with others. We have a local space for children and adults to learn, share, and create art. We are offering classes, have scheduled monthly art shows, and events. We invite local artists to join our Artists Success Circle, an opportunity to share and exchange information. Our Gallery has a great mix of talented local artists and fine crafters work.

Art Classes, Gallery Gift Shop, Handmade Jewelry by Lisa Scala, Beads Baubles & Bits Bead Shop, Jewelry Lessons, Unique Vintage Finds and Home Décor Items and so much more… with 12 businesses throughout the building it’s just a great place to be.

History

Established in 2010.

I had always dreamed of having an artists community that was supportive and inspiring. We started off having a series of art and fine craft shows that were successful for the artists as well as a great draw for the town. With the communities support we all moved in and created the Scala Art Center.

Handmade Jewelry by Lisa Scala

I have had my jewelry designs in galleries across the country for the past 20 years plus, but really wanted to connect personally with my customers. With this I opened my first retail shop «Lisa Scala Jewelry, Art and Fashion» in the Scala Art Center building right here in Georgetown Massachusetts.

It has been an adventure teaching jewelry classes, making one of a kind jewelry and running the gallery, all within a local artist’s community. It feels great to be inspired and connected to such a creative place and so many talented people. I am thankful to be doing what I love and being able to share it with others. Lisa Scala
