Rock Creek Inn

The Rockcreek Inn is an excellent place to stay if you happen to find yourself in Georgetown, CA. Roxanne was an amazing host. I felt she truly cared if we had a great stay or not. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The interior and exterior design was very nice. Everything worked well, such as the air conditioning, shower, tv (free HBO & wifi included). She was also very kind to our dog. We will definitely be back :)

Stayed one night and had a very enjoyable experience. The hosts are very nice and provided a very personal touch as we were escorted to our room and shown how the heat/​air and coffee maker worked. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. I’d highly recommend this inn.

We love Rock Creek Inn, have stayed there 3 times and have already made reservations for next year, the rooms are luxurious and the outside area is wonderful for relaxing and friends.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Diamond Suite. Nestled in the beautiful pines, this is a charming hotel. We had a full kitchen in our suite complete with any and everything we needed. Grounds are manicured and relaxing and include a fire pit, BBQ and multiple seating areas under a grape arbor with cherry trees and blackberry bushes nearby. The owners are delightful. Very nice and accommodating. Will stay here again.
Grocery store very nearby as well as good eateries. We drove up To Stumpy Lake which is about 18 miles. Beautiful lake.

Love, Love this little place! I wasn’t sure at first but when we pulled up there was this home feeling and then when the owner let us in our room early to drop our stuff WOW! simply wonderful. it is so cozy and warm I could stay a month. We are already to book another long weekend.

I love Rock Creek Inn. I stay whenever I come to town (probably 4 years in a row now).
It is comfortable and cute, reasonably priced, and close to town and my family. There is a pretty yard too.
The few issues I have had over the years have been handled very well, and I have always liked how I was treated. The new owners are wonderful and I have a feeling it is going to get even better.

What a find, we stayed there last week for 2 nights prior to the Jeep Jamboree on the Rubicon trail on the weekend. Nev and Roxanne the owners are very accommodating they can’t do enough to please you. We had 3 rooms all were comfortable, clean and well furnished. The grounds are well taken care of with a seating arrangement under a grape arbor. We will be back for sure.

The Rock Creek Inn in Georgetown California is the perfect place to stay if your seeing that area. Its clean, warm, friendly, welcoming and very nice looking.
The beds are very comfortable ! and everything was clean! We were there for w weekend wedding and this was the perfect place to stay!

My husband and I went there for a duel purpose, to celebrate his birthday as well as scout out the area for a planned relocation.
Not only did Jeff call me ahead of time to ask what my husband’s favorite beverage was, but he suggested a great dinner at Camp Virner for his birthday. Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted by Jeff who was showing us all of the great local areas to visit. He also had tons of information for surrounding areas.
Our room was very clean and bed was comfy. Furnishings were in antique style that I appreciate. There’s even a lovely area to sit outside and read or just enjoy listening to the rustling of the trees.
On our first night we walked over to Terry’s Pizzeria for dinner. Nothing fancy, but service was friendly and pizza was good. The second night we went to Camp Virner and enjoyed a warm, cozy atmosphere. Our entrees were fresh and hot, and portions large. They even brought out cake for my husband’s birthday.
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay! Jeff and Summer are great! We will definitely be returning again!

This place is the BEST! It’s close to everything you’d want to do or see in Georgetown. I’m very particular about having a clean hotel room and this place definitely fit the bill. Jeff, the owner, is wonderful! He was so friendly and accommodating. He gave us great recommendations on restaurants and wineries and we were not disappointed. We will be back for sure! :)

THE Place to Stay in Georgetown.
This place deserves the five-​star reviews. It’s idyllic. You’ll know you’re there when you see the awesome metal bear sculptures at the entry. We stayed in the Turquoise Room, which was beautifully decorated with comfortable beds, a gorgeous antique sideboard, and a granite-​topped vanity with a copper sink. I had a nice hot shower, which felt great after a long day on the road. We saw deer on the grounds in the morning, which added to the charm. Jeff is a knowledgeable guy who gave me inside tips and maps for local hiking spots. Highly recommended!

I just stayed here last weekend for a family gathering and spent lots of time on the grounds, in the rooms and it was so great! The staff (Jeff & Summer) went above and beyond to make sure it was a great stay for all of us and we so enjoyed spending time on the out door furniture in the afternoons. The rooms are clean, stylish, and perfect! I love the whole cute rustic charm that offers so much more than the typical hotel/​motel room.
Beds were super comfy, most of the rooms I saw had a fridge, and access to a microwave.
Can’t wait to come back!

Pros:
*The staff (Jeff and Summer. though we didn’t get to meet Summer personally) are AMAZING. Available for anything at all times, cleaned and set up our rooms nicely, made us feel very welcomed and cared for! On our way home my husband realized he had forgotten his wedding ring and all he had to do was call Jeff and Jeff said he’d send it right back to us.
*Room was clean, cute, cozy, temperature was perfect… they even set up a bouquet of flowers and had sparkling cider ready for us.
*Perfect place if you want to feel like you need to get away from city life… not much to do, surrounded by trees in the mountains… you can see the stars!
*Next to Coloma (historic gold-​mining town) and caverns you can explore.
Cons:
*This actually isn’t as bad as it sounds, but behind the inn is a historic cemetery… my husband and I actually enjoyed walking through it and looking at the headstones… but if you’re a superstitious person you might not like that.
*Biggest con would be the walls are really thin so the first night my husband didn’t sleep much and the second night he used complimentary earplugs (I didn’t) I didn’t sleep much. We had a neighbor who’s voice carried (also she was speaking in a different language otherwise I think I’ be able to hear every word!) and she didn’t go to sleep until at least 3 am both nights!
*Not a whole lot to do during the winter months… I would probably want to go in the summer when there’s more river rafting, hiking, boating, etc. or fall when Apple Hill (not TOO far) would be harvesting apples.
Overall we had a great experience. I don’t think we would’ve gone without the Groupon, but I’m glad we did!

LOVED it! My husband booked this for a quick 2-​night getaway that would allow us to explore the area. It was pristinely clean and cozy — the flower bouquet upon check in was lovely and the surrounding area was very well kept. I was pleased with how NOT noisy our room was — perhaps it’s off-​season or the heater fan muffled any ambient sound, but we couldn’t hear the highway at all.
The only complaint I have (and it’s teensy) was that the shower head was very low. I’m 6′ tall and it hit right around my neck. If they would put in a hand held shower head about a foot higher I’d give it a full 5 stars!

My wife and I stayed at the Rock Creek Inn last weekend on a GroupOn Getaway. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed 2 very restful nights. As mentioned by other guest reviews, Jeff is very friendly and accomodating. He’s there when you need him, but very respectful of your privacy. The room was nicely decorated, very comfortable and cozy, very clean. Without the GroupOn deal this would have been a bit outside our price range but I would still recommend it as a great place to stay. The area is beautiful and there are many sights to see.
We’re looking forward to staying again this summer. Thanks for a wonderful weekend, Jeff!
