History

Established in 2013.

Following law school, Terrence felt the strong desire to start his own practice. In order to be closer to family and being fluent in Spanish, Terrence took the Texas Bar Exam. Since he moved to Austin in November 2013, he started and has been growing his practice and building professional relationships. In March 2014, Terrence attended the Trial College — an intensive, criminal defense training, focusing on criminal trials in Texas. The Trial College was hosted by the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

The Trial College was taught by some of the most experienced criminal defense attorneys in Texas. Most recently, Terrence attended an advanced criminal defense seminar in San Antonio. This seminar focused on the newest techniques, defenses, and strategies for criminal defense attorneys. Terrence has represented people with traffic tickets up to felony charges.

Meet the Business Owner

Terrence M.

Business Owner

I grew up in New York City and my family moved to Upstate New York just before high school. After high school I attended Syracuse University and majored in History. My last semester of undergrad I spent in Madrid, Spain where I finally became fluent in Spanish.

Prior to and between law school semesters, I interned at the Broome County Public Defender’s Office in Binghamton, NY. I attended Western New England University School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts. While in law school, I participated in the Consumer Protection Clinic where I represented individuals facing eviction and home foreclosure. Throughout law school I also worked for a solo practitioner who focused on criminal defense.

In my free time I like to take weekly Judo classes at Kokoro Judo Club and currently have my brown belt in Judo. I’m hoping to get my black belt this year. I like to go kayaking, bass fishing, hiking, and camping.
