Crain Ken Atty

I DO NOT RECOMMEND KEN CRAIN… I contacted him through his site regarding a large $$ Toll violation I had received in the mail. He called me and was extremely rude and disrepectful.
For someone whose job should be to defend their clients, he sure does do a good job of making you feel like scum before he commits to representing you. He was loud, and offensive and I felt like I was being scolded by a drunk Ron White. He spoke over me and said «I don’t want to sit on the phone for an hour and waste my time, so I tell people how it is.» He made me feel so low, and rather than telling me what HE could do to help us and why I should chose him over the other attorneys out there… he sat there and told me «everyone I talk to is guilty of something» and «it’s your fault. You’re the one driving on the toll roads and not paying… maybe you should talk to your husband» which was totally irrelevant.
Best part, after scolding me and treating me like someone he was trying to prosecute… he calmy says «My rate is $ 200 an hour, but something like this I’d charge $ 900». That’s when I hung up. Umm, yeah, like I am going to pay some jerk $ 900 to sit there and criticize me and curse about the situation I’m in. I think not. I would rather pay a respectful, educated attorney $ 5,000 than to pay some clueless jerk $ 900.
I honestly feel like he created a website just to attract people that he could yell at and put down. Well congratulations Mr. Crain… you will not be representing me and I will make every effort to make sure that no one I know comes to you either.
UPDATE-​12/​16/​13… If you read Mr. Ken C’s. comment in response to my review… You can clearly see how chauvinistic and unprofessional he is. First off, his accusations are false… he must have me confused with someone else he pissed off. Sad that in order to make himself look better, he ended up making himself look like a bigger jerk. Don’t waste your time with this guy. With 2 out of his 3 reviews being negative and stating similar issues… you believe who you want.

I spoke with Ken on the phone about a traffic violation. He was very curteous, explained my options clearly, and suggested I take defensive driving rather than hire him.
I definitely appreciate someone who is willing to guide without trying to sell. While he couldn’t help me in this particular instance, I felt confident in his knowledge and would recommend others to contact him for legal needs.
