Covenant Inspections

I chose Covenant Inspections for my first new house in Austin. Randall did such a fantastic work! His detailed inspection report helped me a lot with bunches of pictures taken during the inspection. I would definitely recommend Randall to all my family members and friends ;)

Randall did superb job of giving a detailed report as the house was built in 1977. From that report I was able to ascertain the condition of the house and take appropriate actions. I will be using the paper report as a guideline for small but necessary repairs that could ultimately become an issue later on if not taken care of. He gets all the stars plus a few more.

We originally scheduled our inspection with another inspector but changed our minds after reading the one-​sided inspection agreement. The agreement was so restrictive that it said we could not provide the details to anyone… the whole reason for the inspection was to provide the results to the homebuilder, but the language clearly prohibited even doing this; the inspector agreed to change that language, but the red flag was already flying. On the other hand, the Covenant Inspections agreement provided by Randy was much more balanced, and his fee was more reasonable. As for the inspection itself, Randy showed up on time and did very thorough inside/​outside inspection, including the use of a drone to inspect hard to reach nooks an crannies on top of our house (how cool is that!). His report was outstanding and was available the very next day. We are very pleased with his service and highly recommend Randy and his company.

Randy Ryden with Covenant Home Inspections is fantastic to work with! I worked with a builder to build my home and hired Randy for an INDEPENDENT home inspection. He found a number of items that the city inspector didn’t find and has saved me an unimaginable amount of money that would have inevitably been spent down the road if the builder hadn’t repaired what he found.
