This has been my favorite library for as long as i can remember. Its not all about the books here, they have book clubs and they also have story time for toddlers and monthly activities for school aged children such as See Spot Run and others. The librarians here are very helpful and knowledgeable. Also if you are a college student or preparing for college, they can help you fill out your fasfa. I come here frequently to study or for just computer use. Garner is one lucky town.

Fantastic local library! Plenty of space, a bank of computers for adults and a separate set for kids, a really nice semi-circle reading room with stacked carpet seating, lots of reading group activities, a set of laptop stations, and plenty of table seating. The selection of books is pretty good — there is an extensive fiction section and wonderful children’s section. If they don’t have what you need, the staff are very helpful and will borrow from other locations. There is a wonderful, glassed-in, private reading room in the back. I imagine they use this for groups, but my daughter and I used it when she had a big school project to finish on a deadline. Two sets of bathrooms for kids and adults, great displays with recommendation of all sorts of genres, and plenty of local newspaper publications. This is a pretty busy location and parking can be tight, but I’ve always been able to find a space. Free wifi!

This is a nice branch library. It is not huge, but it always seems to have more than I think it does. It is usually pretty busy, and parking can be an issue at peak times. I’ve never had to circle around more than once, though, to find a space. The collection of books seems pretty balanced. The librarians I have dealt with have all been very friendly and helpful.
