I’ve been to several different GNC locations around town and this one ranks as one of my favorites. Not only does the staff seem a bit more educated about the products(I can read the bottle ingredients just as well as an employee, kthx) but they don’t seem to be as pushy about upselling(why assume I’m trying to lose weight and I want your magic chewy thingy? *harumph*). Honestly, I’ve learned that it’s up to me to educate myself about what supplements I’m planning on taking rather than leaving the educating part up to the employees. These aren’t trained doctors and most of them don’t really know crap about what they’re selling, just that they have the magic cure to what ails me. I’ve also learned it’s much cheaper to wait for online sales and emailed coupons rather than shopping full price in the store(even with a member discount) so I don’t really come to the physical locations unless I’ve run out of something. As far as price and quality goes, GNC runs about the same as other vitamin shops and for some reason, I trust the quality a little better than what I can find at CVS. I don’t have any evidence to back that up, it’s just a gut feeling. GNC can definitely hook you up with anything you need for your pre or post workout and has the vitamins and supplements to help you stay a little healthier between workouts.
