History

Established in 2001.

Maureen Diem has been using QuickBooks since 1992 when it first came on the market as 1.0 for DOS. She and her husband had a business and for the first time, small business could keep their own books, and know what was going on each month, day to day. After leaving the family business, Maureen had become so enamored of QuickBooks that she had attended many seminars and trainings beyond what was needed for her business, and also became a Certified Pro Advisor in the first year Intuit offered that designation, 1999. Since then she started Emerald QB Consulting, Inc, helping other small businesses find success by having good solid information in their accounting records. Emerald trains, troubleshoots, and sets up QuickBooks for those who want to do it themselves, but also does monthly bookkeeping for those who don’t. Now that QuickBooks Online is making such huge shifts in the market, more and more businesses are going to Online, and Emerald is there all the way to help.

Maureen has been working in QuickBooks since 1992. She has been Certified since 1999, is Advanced Certified. She is also Certified on QuickBooks Online and Enterprise Solutions. This last year, 2014, Maureen was name by the Intuitive Accountant as one o f the top 100 Pro Advisors in the country.
