Lion’s Pride offers traditional Kung Fu taught in a modern fashion that everyone can perform and enjoy for fitness and self-​defense. We have a friendly environment and a variety of training equipment, obstacles, and routines. Join our «Pride,» our martial arts-​based family, and begin your journey and transformation.

Lion’s Pride focuses on a handful of objectives that any martial artist will welcome:

In addition to kung fu, LPKF specializes in providing performances of and instruction in traditional Chinese lion dance. This custom is usually seen around Chinese New Year; however, it is performed for many auspicious occasions (weddings, graduations, business openings, new ventures, and so on). Business Owner

Sifu Jeremy Hector has been studying martial arts for most of his life, devoting over two decades to the study of various styles of Chinese Kung Fu with well-​respected masters. He has experience in the Southern Five Family Fist and Five Animals, Northern Shaolin, Praying Mantis (Tai Chi Praying Mantis and Seven Star), Gin Yee Baguazhang, Yang and Chen Tai Chi Chuan, and traditional Chinese lion dance.

He has been an active member of the Kung Fu community, performing in countless demonstrations as a martial artist, lion dancer, and lion dance drummer. He has been a part of The Lotus Festival, The Moon Festival, The Golden Dragon Parade, and many other annual events around the Los Angeles area. For the past three years, he and his students have lent their support to several high profile shows, and he has served as a judge for distinguished competitions: Long Beach Internationals, Disney Origins, and the Tempt One Martial Arts Championships benefitting ALS research.
