Business Owner
Sensei William Christopher Ford began his lifelong study of the martial arts in 1974 at age 7 (at the urging of his mother who is from Japan) in Okinawan Shorin Ryu Karate (Kobayashi Ryu) under the late Sensei Richard Rabago. He was tested for and was promoted to black belt at the age of 13 by Master Tadashi Yamashita, but only after he had failed the test on his first attempt months earlier. He currently holds the rank of Go-Dan (5th Dan) in Karate-do but has a deep appreciation and respect for all martial arts styles.
Also, William is husband to a beautiful 4th generation Okinawan woman via Hawaii and is a father to 3 children.
Lastly, Sensei Ford is highly regarded for his warmth, patience, sense of humor, and dynamic teaching style.
«Kaizen is the Japanese word for continual improvement and is the foundation of our philosophy. I look forward to our journey of growth and continual improvement together. Infinite Peace, Love, Respect and Gratitude» –William Christopher Ford
