Contacted Patchwork’s through Unilocal for a quote and their response was lightning quick (withing minutes!). Unfortunately they don’t restucco complete houses so that was bummer that I won’t be doing business with them but I will definitely keep them in mind for any future projects.

Aston and Patchwork’s Plastering is simply the best plaster/​stucco repair company you will be able to find!
We had recently upgraded our electrical panel and needed someone to repair the surrounding stucco as well as some plaster repair work inside the house. Aston came highly recommended to us through our neighborhood contacts, as well as his stellar reviews and ratings on Unilocal and Angie’s List. From our very first meeting with him, we knew that all of those reviews were accurate and that we had found someone who not only knew all of the technical aspects of the required work but was also extremely friendly, respectful, with a great sense of humor and integrity. He showed up on time for the job walk and provided us with a very reasonable written quote that clearly outlined the scope of work, steps needed, and assumptions.
All the work was performed with the appropriate City permits and inspections, which Aston completely managed. Aston communicated the project’s schedule very clearly with us and we always felt that he had the whole thing handled.
The work he did was simply excellent! Extremely detailed preparation work (lath and waterproofing — a very important step that you really want a very experienced professional to do), dealing with multiple interim City inspections, a clean job site at the end of each day, a beautifully finished final coat… everything was done meticulously and all inspections were passed first time with no issues. Looking at the repaired area now you cannot tell that any repair was ever done — everything was hand floated to match our home’s existing finished texture.
There are lots of options for having your stucco or plaster repaired, and there are lots of cheap companies who will likely short-​circuit the process or not do the work to meet City code requirements. If you want to feel confident that your hard-​earned money is being spent on the highest quality level of work and using an experienced and trustworthy contractor — give Aston a call!

Aston did an outstanding job in re-​stuccoing part of my wall and ensured that it blended in with the rest of the wall. Not only that, he is one of those guys who takes great pride in his work, doesn’t rush, is extremely meticulous, and it shows in the results. Aston will explain the process in easy to understand terms. My handyman contractor, who is nitpicky (in a good way), saw his work and also commented on how well it was executed. Aston did a phenomenal job! He had a great attitude and completed the job quickly. He stripped and applied stucco and paint to a few spots on the exterior of my house and garage. I will recommend him to anybody that needs stucco repairs.

Aston is wonderful! Professional, responsible, and amiable. He responded quickly to my inquiry, showed up on time, completed the work in the time he said it would take, and didn’t leave a mess. Astin did a fantastic job patching up in our home. We recently had central air and heat installed and had to remove the old wall mounted furnace in our living room, which left about a 6ft x 2ft gaping hole in our stucco wall. Astin did an amazing job patching the hole and took his time to match the stucco brush patterns on the wall. Really excellent work. He also patched a number of other small holes as well.
Astin came highly recommend from AAA Calvert, who were the amazing team that installed our central air & heat, and we can’t recommend Astin enough. He was very responsive via email and phone, arrived on time and left the house the way he found it: spotless. He is a 2^nd generation patchworker and you can clearly tell this is his passion because he is so good at it.

We were in the unfortunate position of having to have our electric panel upgraded, (Bleh.) So we also had to find somebody to patch the stucco around the new panel. So I checked Unilocal and decided to call Aston after reading the great reviews. (I always prefer to hire local contractors; they are much more likely to show up on time.) The other reviews are spot on! Aston returned my call promptly and came out right away to give us an estimate. This was right before Christmas, and he was very busy, but he worked us in and worked around the inconvenient inspection schedules. Aston did a great job and passed the city’s inspections with flying colors. Aston is a really nice guy, very reliable, and does a great job. The new stucco blends right in with the old. I highly recommend Aston!

I recently had three wall A/​C units and two windows removed and framed up. I needed all five exterior openings stucco patched and three of them plaster patched on the inside of the house. Two of the openings were in the garage and didn’t need patching on the inside. However, scafolding had to be used to stucco patch these openings because they were second story level.
For those of you that have access, Aston is highly reviewed on Angie’s list. I have used Aston several times and each time I do, he is courteous, hard working, and respectful! His work is high quality! There are cheaper contractors to go with, but if you really want to be happy with the end result, call Aston.
