Laziz Cafe and Hookah Bar

Most hookah bars you will find on Unilocal resemble clubs with DJ’s and loud music. This particular hookah bar is not that. It is a laid back spot to relax. I have been coming here for a while now and the customer service is always top notch. There is also a pool table and a couple of TV’s on the walls. 10 $ for a regular hookah for two people. I always have a great time here.

Alvin and Sammy are really personable and ensure that their guests have a positive experience here. They are attentive to coals and making sure the guest is happy with their hookah. They do have a small selection of food, but they do have a decent amount of drinks to choose from. They serve pizza which is a plus for those seeking something more than chips and candy.
I used to come here and the vibe here has not changed-​which is a good thing because it was great before. It isn’t as big as some lounges; Although, it does has a very homey feel to it which is good for those looking for a quieter hookah experience.

«YUMMY!» I’ve been coming to this spot for a while now and I can say nothing but good things. From the friendly associates to the most generous and welcoming owner, this hookah bar is simply a perfect spot to kick it on any night. There are plenty of comfortable places to sit, tvs and a pool table for entertainment, as well as various foods and beverages. Also, the diverse music will fit anyone’s taste. If you’re in need of a good chill spot this place and its people will not let you down!

Laziz Café is not only an amazing place to come smoke hookah and relax, but here, you are treated with the upmost respect. Laziz offers a variety of different beverage/​food options, over 50 different house mixes, and a pool table. Not only will this place leave you speechless, but it is honestly hands down an amazing place to come relax and have a good time.

So I called to check if they had Wifi and if it was crazy busy. From the moment Alvin answered the phone I was in. He called me by my name and said he would reserve us a spot if it got wild. Within 10 minutes of sitting down I met Sammy, Alvin and probably a few other individuals who I can’t recall their names. Nonetheless, I haven’t smoked hookah in a while (highschool to be precise) and you know what the experience I have had thus far is ensuring I am going to come back. Personal people coupled with bomb ass prices combined with a pinneapple head and a peach tea makes Kyle a happy guy. Came in here to look for jobs with a hookah and going to leave with the productivity aspect but also the warmth that this comfy and more than friendly place exuded. I will be back and thank you so much Laziz for the hospitality. Kick ass out there my friends.

This place is awesome. It’s a little smaller than I expected but they make good use of the space. Thy have comfortable couches, tables with plenty of room, and a pool table (50 cents a game). They also play a variety of great music. People were playing cards, people were relaxing and even studying.
The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. He knew what complimented which flavor a the best giving my favorite flavor a twist that I really enjoyed. I ended up trying grapefruit bowl blueberry bluemist with an ice tip. The coal was always changed before necessary, and we were checked on several times even though all the tables were full.
We were given two free games of pool for no reason and offered free water bottles which is normally a charge. I found what might be my new favorite hookah place. I look forward to future business with this place.

The staff is very friendly and extremely attentive. Unfortunately, the place is very small and dated. It seems to be a hangout spot for locals in the area. 3 stars for the wonderful service but I would not recommend this place to anyone I know personally.

Honestly if you looking for a hooka bar that isn’t expensive and has a great atmosphere with music and TVs and a pool table then this is the place hidden little gem in garden grove and they actually have food here too. Great location beri discreet fun place to go with friends

Friendly and attentive employees. Sam (owner) always remembers his customers and treats them like family, never treated as anything less. Food is amazing (pizza is must try), hookah is perfect and prepared readily. I’ve been loving their fruit head option! Great place.

I love this place! Amazing service and great quality hookah! I honestly can never complain! The music is amazing also! The atmosphere is also amazing and is a great place for a great date!

Service is alright. Super small hookah lounge. They need to fix this place up. Seating fee is $ 5 a person so might as well buy a hookah which is $ 10. Seats suck and are uncomfortable but hey it costs $ 5 to sit in them. Other hookah lounges I go to has free pool but hope not this place! Other than that I’m not a fan of this place.

on the day of the pacquiao/​mayweather fight I was here on a date with a guy who happens to be a regular here.
it was kind of awkward at first cause I don’t normally smoke hookah bc I have respiratory problems but after a little coaxing I warmed up to the idea and had a lot of fun, even though I coughed a bit here and there.
as an amateur, I can’t say for certain that this is some good shit, but I did like the mint and dragons breath flavors though :) they kept replacing the coals the entire night so that was REAL cool of them!
this place is super chill and they make you feel right at home with the leather couches which were really comfortable to sit in whenever I got lightheaded from the effects of tobacco. the music they played ranged from a lot and it gets everyone singing along if you know a tune :^)
also, when I was here they closed an hour later than they normally do and when my date and I were about to leave, the owner told my date I was beautiful and I couldn’t help but blush. I still think about it to this day, haha.
this place is cool, I just wouldn’t go here alone. if my date was willing to take me again I would go back.

I love this place its so chill the owner is so wonderful and his workers and very friendly .the hookah is very good and cheap $ 10.00 …they have a pool table… you will feel like u are at home

No complaints, although space is limited. It’s pretty small, but I’ve enjoyed the hookah during the times that I’ve come. Good place to come with friends to smoke and chill, and they play good music (:

Tried watermelon mint, there is no flavor. Owner was very nice so he brought me bigger km with brand new shisha, still no flavor. I asked if it was old stash, of course he said no. But it has the same taste of my own old shisha at my house which has zero flavors. If it is really fresh shisha, change the brand please, it has no flavor.
There hookahs are really beaten and they should replace the bowls.
Slight wood flavor at the end of each drag due to the wood connector (which means one thing, flavor ghosting+wood flavor). I had to fix the hookah myself in order to get a proper cloud production out of it.
Service, owner, music, price is all good. Problem is the hookah and shisha, which I consider as most important part of hookah bar.
If you are going here purely for hookah, you can try, but i would not.

Great place to go hangout with friends and kick back. I love the fact that they have a pool table and food as well. The environment is very casual and friendly. The owner is really nice and they don’t mind giving you change for the pool table which is only 50 cents per game!
My friend and I sat at the table first, did a little hookah and then played some pool. Afterwords we decided to move over to the couch which just for the record was the most comfy couch ever! The employees as well as the owner always check to make sure everything is good and they are constantly switching out the coals for fresh ones without even having to ask.
Great music, (a little of everything) they even played some oldies at one point which made everyone sing along. Great times here and at $ 5 per person, you can’t beat it! Definitely coming back!

Laziz is the best hookah bar I have been to. Sammy, Alvin and Victoria will take great care of you here. They are open late which is very nice. Great prices and great people. The atmosphere is great very relaxing with the best music. I always come here after a long day at work or just to hangout.
