History

Established in 2004.

As J. W. Bruins Design, I provided freelance support for local architects producing plans and documents to assist with residential design projects.

In 2013, having become a licensed architect in California, the name was changed to J. W. Bruins Architect, and I began offering full architectural services independently.

Holding a masters of architecture from UCLA, and having over twelve years of experience working on a variety of project types, including residential, commercial, religious, and educational buildings, Mr. Bruins brings together the latest technology and a traditional design aesthetic.

Mr. Bruins will become your trusted adviser to guide you through the complex decision making process needed to realize your vision. Knowing that there are inevitably going to be unforeseen conditions, he will assist you, his client, by making the design and construction process as smooth and painless as possible.
