I came in with what I was hoping would be a minor brake issue… come to find out it was not so minor. Jeff was great to work with and kept me up to date with any changes, made sure that everything was in proper working order and called me about 20 minutes after I left to be sure I was happy. They even kept the old parts for me to look at after they were done (I know my way around a car and it was clear the work they recommended was required!!)
I was VERY impressed with the customer service, the upfront honesty and yes the price was better than I’d expected… Thanks again for EVERYTHING G&S, I will be back!

Wish I could give 0 stars. My transmission was rebuilt here not even a year ago and has already blew up. I felt it starting to slip and took it here 2 weeks ago left it overnight only for them to tell me nothing is wrong with it but clearly something was, and one guy working there told me” I would like to tell you something is wrong with your transmission but it’s fine” $ 1300 9 months ago now I have to do it all over again. Worst shop ever, don’t bring your cars here.

For being a female in Southern California, it is hard to know who to trust anymore that won’t take advantage of the fact, that I am female and don’t have a lot of car knowledge. But, the guys at G&S certainly take care of all the cars needs without ripping me off. Everyone is very impressed with their prices and knowledge. They do all auto service, not just transmission. I am talking all my cars and telling all my friends.

I can’t give enough praise for this place. My clutch went out on my Mazda3 and they were able to fix it and get it right back to me. They were honest and quick. I was completely comfortable with them working on my car and knowing it would be fixed. I’ll recommend them to everyone I know!!!

I cannot say enough about Mark and the guys at G&S Transmission. Caring, honest, got the job done right at a fair price. As a single woman, car repairs don’t interest me and can be overwhelming… especially when we’re talking «transmission rebuild.» Luckily I have a good mechanic (John and the guys at Villa Park/Phil’s 76) with great contacts and they sent my car to G&S. I felt totally taken care of and respected by everyone involved. The work came with a two year warranty and Mark followed up to check and make sure everything was OK after a couple of weeks. Like I said, I just can’t say enough positive about G&S Transmission. They’ve been around a long time and I know why!
