Well I was around here and couple of my buddies and I were hungry so we decide to went in. Man I gotta say its was clean and nice I feel safe and can enjoy my food. The waiters were nice had good manners. Seated all 4 of us in a table then he handed out the menu and told us there was two item for 50% off! 50% you kidding me right a french vietnamese having it 50% off well the two dishes were bun bo hue and co ga xao xa. Well like usual I go with a bun bo hue, phở ap chao bo and a side order of spring rolls. Food came out in a good amount of time the spring rolls were decent its was like other places. Bun Bo Hue man I gotta say its was pretty bomb iits has like everything in it except for the goi heo which kinda sucks. as for the phở ap chao man am I in heaven! its was so good the soft noodle were seasoned with their sauce so good. the seafood were just perfect and the beef was well cook. After all that happen bills turn out to be $ 27.39 for the 4 of us man awesome :) I’m coming back here again since I go to school around there and its close to tastea!

We went here for lunch on Father’s Day. They had just opened the day before(June 20, 2009). My mom(like many Asian/Vietnamese moms) heard about this place from somewhere – I don’t remember, maybe it was the radio. The important thing is that she heard«20% off.» So, being the bargain hunters that we are, we decided to eat here. I didn’t expect much, being that it was their second day in business. There, we had the Fillet Mignon with Garlic Butter sauce, Clay Pot Fried Rice, and Salad with Beef. All were good. The steak was very tender, but was served with only garlic bread. It was good though. Simple but good. The sauce really went well with the steak. The Fried rice came with chicken, shrimp chinese sausage(lap xuong), mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and green onion. Probably had other stuff in it too but I don’t remember. It wasn’t bland and flavorless like the fried rice at other places around Little Saigon. They did serve it a little hot though. The salad was very nice looking. Very«diverse» if you can use that to describe food. The Romaine, red tip, arugula, carrots, onions, bean sprouts, and tomatoes mixed very well with the sauteed beef and vinaigrette dressing. The dressing was very good – just enough sweet to counter the sour. Also, I thought it was pretty cool that they used fried eggroll wrappers as croutons. Overall, the food was good, the presentation as well. The food looked very appetizing and did not dissapoint. The owner was also nice and personable, which is pretty rare for Vietnamese restaurants in this area. The prices weren’t too bad either, pretty cheap actually for the quality of the food. The Fillet Mignon was $ 12.95, and the salad I think was $ 7.50 or 8. This only issue we had was that their credit card system wasn’t up yet. We weren’t told that so payment was a hassle. Luckily, we had enough cash to cover the meal though. But, that’s understandable I guess – after all, they had only been open a day when we went. I can see myself coming back soon, and would recommend this to anyone who wants a different Little Saigon restaurant experience.
