My first experience here is also my last. Someone has to explain to me how, when there are only four people in line, it takes close to 30 minutes to prepare a single burger. The cashier is a «low-talker»(thank you, Seinfeld), and not a single person appears happy. In fact, if I hadn’t said something, the cashier probably would have just kept staring at me. You know what? I’m tired of waiting. I’m going to ask for a refund. EDIT: When asking for the refund, the receipt printer conveniently stopped working. I probably just paid $ 8 to leave a Unilocal review and walk out empty handed.

Oh elevation burger… So much promise, so much left undelivered. The fries, shakes, and burgers here are actually quite nice. Problem is you cannot get in and out of this place and have a good customer service experience. It’s never good. NEVER. I want to like this place because it has promise, as mentioned the food is good(not mind blowing but good). I’ve been here at least 4 times, the kitchen is in plain view, people are not motivated or happy, service is slow and not engaging.

I’m a bit of an Elevation Burger connoisseur. I’ve been to five of the EBs around the DC area. This place nails it. How? By doing everything perfectly. The organic, grass-fed burgers(well, the burgers weren’t fed grass, but the animal they used to be was) were perfectly cooked and stacked with care so it looked as good as it tasted. Their real cheddar slices are to die for. The fries, which are easy to screw up, were perfectly cooked and salted. They were crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Not everyone likes the EB fries, but I find them to be a nice departure from most burger places, especially when done well. And the milkshakes. Mmmmmm. They are hand-dipped and mixed. You can add your own mix-ins(up to two per shake)(I like blueberries & strawberries). This EB doesn’t skimp on the berries, as many EBs do, so the shake was bursting with berries. Enough the straw to clog, necessitating a spoon, which they provide. I like that! And they mixed it perfectly – not too runny and not too thick. A perfect chocolate shake. 5 stars to these guys for taking the EB experience up one additional star over the other EBs. Well worth the visit. You either like EB or you don’t, but if you do, this location hits it out of the park.

The good thing about elevation burger is their meat is 100% organic. And French fries are fried in olive oil. The location is clean and the staff is good and friendly!

Two weeks ago I came in, stared at the menu for a few minutes, went to order and was told the burger grinder was broken. So no burgers. Would have been helpful to be told that while I was standing right in front of the cashier looking at the menu. Came back at 1pm on a Wednesday. Ordered, paid, waited. After a few minutes was told they were out of burgers. At 1pm on a weekday? The cashier refunded my money for the burger and fries, but charged me for the soda because I had started drinking it. Total bull since I would not have purchased it if I knew they weren’t going to have my food. To top it off, there was another family looking at the menu and the cashier was not going to tell them that half the menu was out. He only spoke after I suggested he tell them. They left too. Two visits, no burgers– not going to waste my time again.

I ordered two grilled cheese sandwiches, one elevation burger, fries, shake and fountain drink — around $ 27. The burger I ended throwing away after three bites; tasted like it had dirt in it. My daughter’s grilled cheese was soggy and the cheese wasn’t even melted. The basket of fries had fries that were not fully cooked. The chocolate shake was good! Not a fan of Elevation Burger… will stick with the real deal at Five Guys!

Imagine 5 guys, but more expensive and no free peanuts. Not bad but not worth the price premium.

I feel a little let down. The all organic idea had me excited for something above average. Nope. The veggie burger was just a plain frozen tasting patty. The fixings were almost nonexistent. Not even sure if the caramelized onions made it on. The fries are a 10⁄10 really tasty and would be worth the stop just for fries. I also got a chocolate malt. More of a cup of ice cream. The malt powder was still in clumps and wasn’t mixed in enough. The place is a great idea just poorly executed. The girl taking are order was also less than energetic.

I decided to try this place and see what all the fuss was about. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon while doing some shopping. 1. Restaurant didn’t look particularly clean. The tables didnt appear to have been wiped in between customers. A fly followed my food out from the kitchen and I was swatting it away from my meal for most of my visit. 2. Soda machine was out of ice. 3. Fries were pretty good, but I felt like I got the bottom of the french fry bin…90% of the french fries were about an inch long. 4. I got the double patty burger. Sorry, it was bland. It didn’t appear to be seasoned at all(not even salt). Otherwise, it was cooked well, but Meh. Don’t think I’ll stop here again.

My godmother and I came in here since we were soooo hungry after our Starbucks date. Red Robin’s burgers are too big and not that special tasting, so I was willing to try this place. I ordered a kids burgers since the name«Elevation» possibly means«ginormous burger that Alexus can’t eat» and it was a pretty good burger. Now it’s not Five Guys good, but it was good. I probably won’t come here again unless I’m nowhere near a Five Guys. The staff was friendly though! So that’s always a big plus.

Went here because they mailed out a coupon in the mail for a free burger. Had kids with me. Place: Great location in Crofton right on the avenue. Clean facility. Modern design. Beautiful. There are many restaurants in the area including a red robin right next door. People: Friendly counter staff. Delivered food to table. Order was made correctly. A+. Product: Their gimmick is wholesome grass fed meat. Ordered a burger, fries, chicken tenders, and a drink. Burger was lean and delicious. Less greasy. But I can’t really tell any difference from other burger joints. Fries were shoe string style. I disliked them. Chicken tenders were not breaded, were small, and there were only three. But they were ok but pathetic. The drink station had one of those machines with 100 flavor a but they were out of all diet and zero flavors. Dissappointed. Price: Cost before coupon was $ 18.00. The portions are small for the money, and not good compared to similar burger joints, but you are paying for quality over quantity. Summary: I’m not a fan. I did not feel there were many options for kids either, although they are everything. Five guys is a better buy, but fuddruckers is the best of them all. Red robin is right next door and the other restaraunts on the avenue are better in my opinion. I will not return here. But if you like that organic wholesome hippie guilt free crap, you might enjoy it.

Goodbye five guys, goodbye red robin. This is the only place my family and I will be getting burgers from now on. The fries we can pass on but the burgers were so good. I like that after we ate we didn’t feel sluggish at all. The price wasn’t bad at all. Can’t wait to try didn’t burgers here.

Not sure why they closed for a while, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and professional. After our meal was delivered a young man checked on us and made sure everything was ok. The burgers and fries taste great and the best part… NOGREASE! I hated going to Five Guys and ordering fries because grease oozes out of the bag. If we decide not to grill our burgers we will definitely be stopping here to get our fix.

Good burgers and fries — I prefer this burger place over Five Guys. Their regular burger comes standard with two patties so if you’re a wimp like me, order the kid’s version to get one patty. The fries are SO fresh and delicious — they were seasoned perfectly; I didn’t reach for the ketchup once.

Delicious! Organic, grass-fed beef used. The burgers are juicy and delicious. This place follows the Five Guys concept, but with less grease and higher quality ingredients. Casual dining atmosphere with the option for outdoor seating. Very clean!

Great organic food. Very pleasant servers. Good service and the cool space age soda machine… free refills :) I got the elevation burger. Right on the money. My wife gets the half the guilt which is a whole meal to itself. The fries have improved much since they first opened. Overall a great experience. Will come again and again. Parked in the rear. They have a rear entrance.

Food and service was fantastic! Neeko’s a great employee that was very courteous and professional. He took the time to drop off our food, ask us mid-way to see if everything was to our liking, and took our finished tray away. Thank you for the best service since this location opened up!

I actually enjoyed my organic grass fed burger. I came as soon as they opened, so everything was fresh. My burger was not greasy and that’s just the way I prefer it. The Elevation Burger comes with two patties, but that is too much meat for me so I asked for it be a single.

It was my first visit to elevation burger. I was welcomed as soon as I stepped inside. The employees were all respectful and kind. My order was taken and served in a timely manner. Now to the good stuff… the food The burger– 5⁄5 as amazing as I remembered it. I have eaten burgers at multiple franchise locations of different brand, which I will not mention out of respect. But these burgers one don’t exacerbate my indigestion and secondly I didn’t feel bloated afterwards. The fries– 4⁄5 not greasy and very fresh testing. The milkshake– 5⁄5 I got a coffee base with Oreos and cheesecake. The best milkshake I have drank in my life. The soda– 5⁄5 I am a big sprite remix fan. After they had discontinued it I was really bummed out. But with the machine they have in place, I had the option of peach sprite. Amazing. Overall experience 5÷5− With the quality of food. The price. The organic nature. Plus it’s zabiha(halal) it’s a 5⁄5 for sure. I recommend trying if you have not. If you are on a paleo diet try their lettuce wrap.

I began this week with an attempt to not eat red meat for at least seven days. I am so glad I caved in at Elevation Burger. The main selling point is that their burgers come from grass fed cows. Whatever they are selling I am definitely buying and enjoying. The burgers only come in well done but with many options. Unless I missed it the one option they do not have is bacon. I also had a chocolate shake and the only thing that would improve this meal would be thick cut freedom fries(America). Just my opinion but I am not a fan of shoestring fries. I am a burger fan and this burger place easily shoots up as a top choice in the Odenton/Gambrills/Crofton area. I have been living in this area for almost a year and it is nice to see it open again. It was closed when I first moved here and recently opened back up under new management about two weeks ago. The place is very clean and the staff is nice. I am sure the quality of service and food will be high and stay that way as many places seem to go downhill at times. So hopefully Elevation will elevate some of the other burger places nearby to step their burger game up.

Ironically, Elevation Burger is located right next door to Red Robin in Waugh Chapel Town Center. Since it was fat girl Friday on my calendar, I decided to go all in. I ordered an elevation burger w/cheddar cheese & a vanilla milkshake adding strawberry & mango to it. For the burger, it comes w/two patties of beef and a variety of free menu add ons. There are some add ons that have a surcharge(cheese .60, mushrooms .60 etc). For the milkshake, you can add up to two items w/o a surcharge. My food took a little longer than expected but when I received it, I’m glad I exhibited some patience. I turned my head sideways and got real unladylike with this scrumptious burger. I found myself scraping the melted cheese off of the paper it was wrapped in… lol I am pleased w/both of my choices and can see myself returning. I’m unsure if they just reopened or what, but the associates there were still trying to find their groove. However, in all fairness, everyone was professional and patient as this was my first time dining there. I will be returning to get another bellyful.
