Twice Is Nice Consignment Boutique

Very nice shop. Owner is always nice and helpful. They have good prices and many designer clothes in «like new» condition. Was in today and bought a beautiful dress and palazzo pants that are beautiful. Cute little shop with lots of goodies!

The owner of this shop is a genuine sweetheart! I felt very welcomed and this place has Some of the most fashionable and affordable shoes I’ve seen in a long time from a consignment shop. Too bad it’s kinda tucked away but more for me! Jimmy Choo, Prada, Gucci… everything a girl desires is here and at fantastic prices! It’s definitely worth a visit; I’ll be back for sure!

This consignment store manages to pack in a lot of varied items. Table and chairs, book cases, designer stands in furniture. Knick-​knacks, crystal, glasses, candle holders abound. Some jewelry at the front counter. Lots of women’s name-​brand clothing and sorted nicely. I like some items in an XL so it’s nice to see the larger items specially marked.
At first I was put off by the owner’s seeming rudeness. But I mentally transport the shop to NYC where the rather abrupt way of speaking belongs. It no longer seems rude or brusque. I really don’t think she has a clue how she comes across. If you stand in the shop and listen for awhile, she speaks to her friends who come into the shop in the same manner. I avoid asking her questions about anything.
The checkout area is set up somewhat strangely. The owner expects you to reach across a large area to hand your money to her and then reach again to retrieve change. She does not reach. It may very well be a disability on her part, but perhaps she should consider how that appears to the public who may share the same shoulder disability. Or move the cash register to a location where neither party has to reach.
In short, I shop here DESPITE her and now view her as part of the shop ambience. She has a lot of wares that are in great shape, clean, sorted. It’s always worth a stop.
Parking can be tricky to negotiate due to the store’s location in a triangle-​shaped set of roads.

I have to agree with the other reviews. I’ve been in the store half a dozen times and found a couple of items, but it’s really not worth how I’ve been made to feel. Not friendly at all when it comes to customer service and downright rude when it comes to consigning. With such strict days/​hours for taking in items, you’d have to take a day off work to make it happen. It’s really a shame. Not sure how she stays in business. Would give zero stars if I could

Fantastic store, there’s always something new to find in there. The manager and employees are very friendly and down-​to-​Earth. Though they may not have the biggest selection of knick-​knacks, the variety of what they do have is still interesting and fun.

I have been here maybe a dozen times, always thinking that maybe this time, the owner would be polite. She gets annoyed when customers bother her (like asking a price, or wanting to check out) while she is working. She forgot to open the shop door and instead of acting slightly apologetic or even friendly, she opened the lock and walked away. I once asked how much a pile of wood trim was and she acted irritated at me for asking and said she was keeping it for herself. She seems to feel that she is smarter than everyone else and shouldnt have to deal with us pions.
Her clothes are a mix of nice, very worn, dated items and those that are trendy finds that you could get at old navy or target, but bad quality. The housewares are junky but sometimes there is a nice antique –but those dont last long.
I love visiting consignment shops in the area and it is too bad this one is so awful. I wonder how it could still be in business. Friend have mentioned that even if her stuff was awesome, it would be hard to want to give this shop owner your money. Maybe she will cheer up at some point.

Went in there for the first time today and the owner was really snooty. She took one look at me and said, «we don’t sell clothes in your size because they don’t sell well. You’re too tiny.» That was rude and uncalled for, I only asked her a question about the furniture there. Overall they seem to carry name brands like Kate Spade an Burberry in good/​new condition but with an attitude like that I’m not going back!
