My car was shaking so much and making so much noise that everyone in my family insisted I sell it. I took it in right before the Thanksgiving weekend and they were short staffed but took the time and consideration to look through my car and help me understand it. I literally got a mini crash course on what the bottom of my car looks like haha (Prob was my first time looking underneath). When I drove my car out it felt like a completely different/​new car and tbh it never felt as smooth even the day I bought it. Excellent work! Thank you so much for all your help and kindness through the exhaustive holiday season.

I almost overlooked this place when I was shopping for tires because I thought the bigger chains would have better prices… WRONG! I sent a price inquiry through the website and Sean responded promptly with a price that even when road hazzard protection was added beat any other price I’d received, AND I could get the tires installed the next day instead of the 3 day wait NTB and Costco quoted. They had me in and out of there in an hour. The staff are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. There was no up selling, no condescending tone, and all questions I or other customers had were patiently answered. While I was there several guys came in to get maintenance and repair work done to their cars, so I’ll most likely return to get other work done there if needed. I look forward to recommending Hanagan’s to my friends!

Saw the excellent reviews and decided to get new tires for my Jeep here. These guys are AMAZING — honest and didn’t oversell me. Got four new Firestone tires for my Wrangler, installed in 20 minutes, for $ 725. I also had them look at my rear differential since the last place I got my oil changed at told me it was leaking… well, it wasn’t. Love these guys!

If you are looking for an honest, reputable shop to get your tires, alignments or any other miscellaneous work done, look no further. The guys here at Hanagan’s know what customer service truly is! They offer pricing competitive to online tire merchants, all while being able to provide the tires and service immediately or as soon as possible. You really cannot beat that! The guys know what they are doing and you can rest assured that your vehicle will be taken care of.

Picked this place to do a tire change and alignment after reading all of the great reviews. Was charged a higher price than what was quoted on the phone for the tire change. They also forgot to do the alignment (didn’t charge me for it, but still a hassle, had to go to a different shop). Perhaps I shouldn’t have gone to Hanagan’s on St. Patrick’s day…

I am sold on Hanagan’s work on replacing 4 tires and wheel alignment. After doing some extensive research on some Continental tires, I asked Hanagans for recommendations, and they list the pros and cons of every tire. This is much different than your national brand tire shops, who often taut just the good stuff.
The communication was solid throughout the ordering process, pick-​up and drop-​off. The tire price was reasonable comparing to online prices, and the labor rate was industry.
The only reason why it’s not a 5 star rating is because when I picked up my car in the morning, my car key was inside the car and parked outside in the parking lot. No idea how long it was sitting there with key inside, and I didn’t tell them what time I’ll be coming by. I don’t like it one bit, even if Gaithersburg is one of the safer neighborhoods.

My exprerience with Hanagan’s was excellent. I got a flat tire and decided to use them based on their stellar Unilocal reviews/​rating. They definitely lived up to them. Everyone was very friendly. They were never pushy with recommendations but offered information/​education for all options. They gave a timing estimate for the services to be completed and actually were done sooner. The cost was reasonable from what I can tell. Overall, they were great! I would highly recommend them.

If you’re looking for a reliable honest place for tires or any auto repair, I highly recommend Hanagan’s. I ended up getting four new tires here. Although it’s out of the way, they are worth the drive (if you have someone along with another car and you can go hang out elsewhere) — my tires come with free lifetime rotations!

I went to Hanagan’s after reading all the world class ratings and was not disapointed. Kevin Hanagan (the owner) got me two new tires for a decent price. The work was done pretty quickly. Andy showed me what was wrong with the tires and told me why I need new ones. I’d recommend Hanagan’s.

I had a flat tire leaving my house for work and rolled into Hanagan’s. Can I say that these guys are awesome! Great personalities, warm, friendly honest. Great price for a new tire and EXCELLENT customer service!

First time going to the shop to replace tires on my 5 series BMW; the owners were a pleasure to deal with and they recommended some great tires. Love supporting local mom and pop stores. Highly recommend, you won’t get ripped off. Very honest and genuine shop.

You probably won’t get better customer service and price than this small family operated place that’s been around for a long time. I love supporting local businesses that still value personal relationships, honesty, respect and genuineness. This place has it and if you’re fortunate enough to deal directly with Kevin Hanagan, your experience will be even better.

You know, I had a very simple request, that is somehow very confusing for most businesses and entail a lot of stupid penny pithy costs: I have a wheel with a flat tire and I have an extra full size tire I would like you to put on.
The response: Swapping tires? Sure that’s easy, $ 24 (and no stupid disposal and pithy fees).
I was super skeptical when I showed because of the layout, parking didn’t have «lines» designating spots, but it was very obvious where I could park because it said customer parking. And of course I noticed it was Irish owned, so they won’t lie to you, and they’re straight about what everything is. This one hour job from dealerships, or even Sams Club took them 20 minutes. I was literally choking on thin air inside my head because I was just getting ready to settle in for one more lost hour in my weekend. Leave it to the Irish to let you go home with a smile ;)

Credit Card: They took American Express, so screw most of the other shops in Gaithersburg and Rockville that won’t. They realize that having 94−96% of my money is more than 0% of my money.
So if you’re looking for work, and not sure which review to lean towards to get your job done, just stop reading and head on over to Hanagan’s to get the job done right, and in a timely manner.

I just had all my tires replaced and it was a very pleasant experience, I’m very satisfied, everybody was very helpful, great customer service. I’ll def be back.

First time at this garage and I couldn’t ask for a better experience! Great and honest work, is what everyone is looking for and these guys have it! On top of that they had the best prices on new tires in the area and I price checked multiple shops and some out of the area as well. That’s how you make loyal customers!

Monday morning, Hanagan’s Tire got us out of a real jam. We were in town for a funeral, and had damaged the front right tire on a curb. It turns out, there was a bolt stuck in the tire near the side wall, too It caused a slow leak that I slowed down further with Fix-​A-​Flat. Our 2013 Ford Focus SE, had an extended warrantee on the tires, that was only helpful back in MA. However, the guys’s at Hanagan’s Tire contacted the insurer and submitted a reimbursement request on our behalf. It took a bit of effort to locate the exact tire, and to negotiate and file our claim. This was EXTREMELY helpful. Note: there aren’t in some GPS databases. We initially ended up at the wrong shop in Silver Springs, oops. We highly recommend Hanagan’s Tire at

The evening before, I used their website to find the brand and model tire I needed. That was very helpful.
We got an alignment just to be on the safe side. (I’ve been hitting curbs, getting used to our car. The doors are higher then on our old 97 Saturn SL2.

These guys are the BEST! Trust me! everyone in here is very friendly and honest they do the job right! No BS here! I been to other shops with rude employees and bad work ethics, but these guys know what they’re talking about get the job done right and pretty fast.
I will be coming here in the future for all my car needs no matter what, highly recommended place 5 stars.

The folks at Hanagan’s are great! In all my years I have not come across a better repair shop. They are friendly, knowledgeable and honest.
There have been a couple of occasions where I was simply surprised at just how nice they can be and what they are willing to do for their customers.
