Perfect Fit Custom Shutters

Shutters are good but not the sales person. They have sale gimmicks, they commit to delivering everything but will miss out a window and will charge you again for the window. Be careful to read your contract. I lost one window because I didn’t read the contract properly.

Perfect Fit did a great job with the plantation shutters for my home. I had used another company many years ago and had problems with incorrect measuring and problems with the installation of the shutters in my sun room. It took so many visits to get things resolved that I put off finishing the job. I decided to finish the job and hunted online for reviews and called for an estimate. They did a great job for a great price. The installation was done in a few hours and they look better than I expected. This job was bigger than the one the previous company did but this install was a dream compared to the last time. This company knows what they are doing and do it right. I also prefer how this company handles the installation for a large bank of windows. They constructed one large panel and it looks much nicer than the blinds in our sunroom. Because the shutters have their own molding or box, they look much better. I don’t know how to explain this but if you get an estimate they can explain it.

We purchased shutters for the front of our home from Perfect Fit Custom Shutters. The shutters look so much better than the ones that were there before. They were also well installed as they removed the old shutters, filled extraneous holes and painted the siding in that area to cover up the repair. All in all the entire experience was superb!

The first time I contracted with Perfect Fit Shutters was several years ago in a former home. Outstanding experience. I started out doing just a few windows but was so impressed with their company and product, I ended up putting shutters on every window in the house! I am building a new home and I asked them to put shutters on all my windows from the start. Why waste time waiting! I would NEVER even consider using any other company for custom shutters. Perfect Fit Shutters is AAAA++++ from start to finish. Their sales rep, Marie, is extremely knowledgeable, professional and could not be friendlier. Their installer, Isais, who has been with the company for like 14 years is THE BEST HANDS DOWN. His installs are meticulous and he is neat, clean and friendly when he is doing his job. The shutters themselves are the best I have seen. When I lived in my former home, I did ask another company to give me an estimate but after actually comparing it with Perfect Fit Shutters, there was no question as far as the quality of the product. You can definitely feel and see the difference when you compare samples. I am a «you get what you pay for» kind of person and Perfect Fit Shutters definitely fits that bill. Also, it was VERY important to me that they manufacturer their own shutters. I recommend them without reservation.

I have used Perfect Fit Custom Shutters for over 10 years. They have covered every window in my home. The products are beautiful, quality materials and the customer service and pricing cannot be beat. Just recently, I came to Karen for help with wood shutters for 6 windows. I knew exactly what I wanted. Karen was happy to provide pricing, but thought I should consider another configuration to better get the look I wanted. She was right! We were remodeling our home and had our hearts set on plantation shutters. We did our research and got quotes from a number of companies (Home Depot, Lowes, Next Day Blinds, etc.) The quality just wasn’t there. By luck we found Perfect Fit Shutters. We went to the store and saw all of our options. It was so nice to see all of our options, materials, colors, etc. laid out on windows as opposed to the 2×3 ft samples we saw elsewhere. We sat down with the woman and she helped us choose what was best for our home. We scheduled a in home measuring. He was right on time. Perfect fit makes the shutters right in their own factory in Gaithersburg, so you know you are getting a good quality. We had our shutters installed 2 weeks in advance of the original installation date. We couldn’t be happier. It has been over 6 months and we have gotten so many compliments on them. They are on customer windows (floor to ceiling windows basically) and give the room such a clean open feel. Both are in direct sunlight and stay so nicely. We will definitely be using Perfect fit in the future and would recommend to others.
