They did good job. The tools came out of a sanitizer but the whole place is very dirty and run down. It was also dead quiet in there. No music or anything, kind of unnerving. Prices were as expected.

I like this place. Tammy and Kim have been my favorite. The smell doesn’t have the overly powerful acrylic nail smell. And if you see something you don’t like just tell them they’ll make the adjustments. Like like like.

Great service and experience. Great prices and polish selection. They have all the new colors. The pedicure chairs were awesome and relaxing. Plus they had the Food Network on!
Amy was my technician and she was sweet and funny. We chatted quite a bit which made the time go faster.
I got a pedicure and gel manicure. She took her time working on my summer/​pool feet. Loved the color are help he chose. The foot/​leg massage was on point.
I selected one of their new gel colors and she really took her time to make sure the gel set and the nails were on point. Great experience! The place was clean and quite busy for a Saturday so I was lucky they accommodated me as a walk-​in. I’ll definitely be going back. Ask for Amy!

My girlfriend and I went to Modern Nail to get pedicures and the experience was decent enough.
There was a rough start, but it went uphill as we went and in the end, it was worth the $ 25 we spent each.
When we arrived, I noticed that there wasn’t a pungent smell that many salons have, something a mix between chemical cleaners. It was pleasant enough to look at, and the chairs were moderately comfortable. The «speed» function on my massage chair was broken, but all of the other operations worked fine. I don’t love massage chairs to begin with, but this one did ok.
However, when they started the foot baths, my water was much hotter than I wanted, and the staff assumed that everyone wanted scalding water. When I mentioned it, one employee insisted that I just get used to the water instead of adding cold water. I thought she was rude and fortunately she didn’t do either of our pedicures.
From there, the service was fine, and they did a good job on both of our feet. They did make my girlfriend’s big toe bleed a little while cleaning out the sides, but otherwise they did a good job with the massage and cleaning.
My girlfriend did notice one feature: the «sterilized» equipment came in those sterile bags, but since she works in a dentist office and sterilizes equipment all day, she noticed that the marking on the back, a brown stripe, didn’t color in and therefore the tools were perhaps cleaned but not sterile. This bothered us both, but we let it go.
Overall not bad at all for the price, but they could definitely make some improvements.

While the hubs was getting a massage, my footsies were in dire need of maintenance. I normally do this on my own but since he was treating himself, i thought i deserved a treat too!
This was the closest nail salon that i could find and they accepted walk ins. I forgot the name of the guy who did my pedicure but he was fantastic. Before we started, i told him i was really ticklish so he was gentle with my feet. Their pedicures include a small foot rub which felt really nice.
Overall, as this was a spur of the moment decision, i was happy with the end result. My feet feel super soft and they no longer look hideous! Pricing is not bad either.
You cannot add gratuity to your credit card so be sure to have some cash on hand.

I have been coming to modern nails for as long as I can remember. Kim, Vee and Nam are usually my go to people. Every time I walk in I am greeted warmly by everyone. The prices are phenomenal and they are so attentive to detail. I had an ingrown nail that had been bothering me for a while but with Kim and Dan’s help its gone and I havent had any pain since! Absolutely love this place :)

Dan is the best manicurist I’ve had yet. I book with him every chance I can get to have my nails done. Even though I’ve moved about 25 miles out of the area, I still make it a point to drive up and have him do my nails. He knows exactly how I like them done and the exact color I go with. Other salons I’ve been to don’t do my nails the way I like, so why bother jumping from salon to salon when I can go back to a place with a nail tech that knows exactly how I like my nails done? Make Appointments If you can ! Especially with Sandra. She takes her time and it definitely shows. My pedi and manis last 3 – 4 weeks with her. When it comes to designs and eyebrows Vee is the best!

STAY AWAY! My daughter went for a manicure and pedicure with Judy last Tuesday and is now dealing with an infection to her toe nail. She is now on antibiotics and may need to have her toe nail removed by a doctor since the infection is not going away. If I could give this place a negative five star rating I would.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years and on all but one occasion, which has to do with a specific manicurist/​pedicurist, was really happy with how my nails came out. I don’t make an appointment and get someone different almost every time, but all but one of the people there are very careful and take their time with your nails. My toes last for many weeks, while fingernails just under one — but that’s because I use my hands a lot for dishwashing, etc. $ 36 for mani/​pedi is not unreasonable, and you get a comfortable massage chair to sit in while getting your toes done.

I decided to treat myself to a mani-​pedi and the sign on the window said walk-​ins accepted, so I dropped in. I paid $ 36 for the mani-​pedi and she did a good job on my feet but my fingernails turned out a little sloppy. It seemed like she was rushing to finish before the shop closed at 7 pm and unfortunately it showed. I might go back because the location is so close to home, but I’d go earlier to leave plenty of time to get everything done well.

I used to come here specifically for this lady with short hair — Her name was Judy. She was the best pedicurist ever! She was so detailed with the pedicure, took her time with every nail and my pedicure by her lasted longer than others. She painted my nails perfectly each time. Judy’s awesome! I had to call for appointments.
