Glamorous Nails & Spa

I went twice and both times the pedicure was great but not the manicure! When I was getting my manicure the manicurist acted like I was imposing on her time, rolling her eyes, and Implied I need to go to the gym. Manicure with gel polish was bumpy and indentations. FYI, you never know who is listening and understanding your conversation.

My wife had a mani and pedi done here, she gets her nails done every week and we just moved up here, and wanted to try a new place. She was left unimpressed and completely dissatisfied with her nails. They were rough, cuticles were not cut, polish was uneven, and on top of it, when I complained, they insisted it was the fault of my fingers. I will never return, and I wanted to warn all future customers.

Ok I need to throw in my 2 cents here since their reviews are so bad.
I dropped by for a mani/​pedi, not expecting much (based on reviews). Why go you ask? Because I’m always nearby at one of the restaurants here so I needed to try it! It’s right next to Smashburger in the new downtown Crown area.
David did my pedi first in the spa chairs (I’m a sucker for those) and then my mani at his station up front. It’s actually pretty spacious in here and very clean (since it’s new?). I liked their color selection which made it hard to pick one color: P (I picked turquoise if you wanted to know)
He was meticulous, yet speedy which I really appreciate because, well, you know, time haha. He did a great job cleaning up the cuticles and shaping my nails so they grew out well. He didn’t get an ingrown toenail (TMI I know!) but I also didn’t specifically ask him to so no harm no foul.
I liked chatting but also enjoyed burying my head in my phone during the pedicure and he was respectful of that.
Overall reasonable prices and great service! I’ll be back again!

A nice, new clean nail salon in the middle of the Washingtonion shopping center. I got a gel mani and normal pedi, their prices are average but they had a grand opening 10% off so I decided to check them out. The pedicure was standard: comfortable chair, massage, exfoliation. They had a ton of colors to choose from. Typical manicure, it lasted a good 1.5 weeks without chipping, the guy put on lots of extra layers of top coat

Had just a plain manicure today. They were very nice as I was a walk in, but manicure not so great. Would not go back. Color uneven, nails are rough. They did give me a 10% discount as a new customer.
