UF Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center

I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff is absolutely incredible and provide service to a caliber I’ve never before experienced in the medical realm (or, honestly, anywhere else). I’ve met with Dr. Thompson, Dr. Gonzalez, and Dr. Potter and they are all incredibly intelligent, proactive, and kind women who clearly love what they do (and are good at doing it). I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with the nurses (who are always helpful and often hilarious), reception (always with a smile and greeting while demonstrating incredible proficiency), and lab technicians (I hate getting blood drawn but they’ve made it a painless process). Even the valet staff is always quick to wish you a good day (whether you choose to use their services or not).
The space is incredibly clean and accessible, there is plenty of parking, it’s easy to spot from the road, and the facility itself is modern and inviting (a far cry from the intimidating, dingy doctor’s offices I was used to).
There are occasional (and I really do mean occasional) hiccups in the bureaucracy of things, but that’s to be expected in such a large facility and it is EASILY overlooked because of the otherwise perfect service, care, and atmosphere.
I’ve been coming to UF Dermatology for years and I will probably never go anywhere else.
