These people have Just about lost me as a customer. I went in there the other day to check out some books on outdoors and florida wildlife and couldnt find much of anything at all. Again probably not an overly popular subject but I would still think there should be a little literature on the subject. This next issue I know will not be shared by many people, if any. But I dont care. I was wanting to go check out some magazines, when I walked around the corner of the magazine shelf I saw this Homeless guy sprawled out on a chair alseep. He was covered in dirt and smelled like a dead fish. So where I would have liked to look at the magazines i couldnt anymore because the smell was so offensive and personally the idea of getting shanked at borders with a broken bottle isnt all that appealing to me. When I was accross store I could hear him coughing his lungs up. Exactly what I want in a shopping experience Now lets imagine here for a second for all you people who are like«he’s still a person» and«have some compasion»…lets imagine that sombody brought thier child, thier daughter and somthing were to happen. That is how kids get taken what if you were a young girl there by yourself and he followed you out to your car. MESSAGETOBORDERS: when I as a customer complain about a smelly coughing hacking bum sitting in a corner of your store asleep and you say«yeah but we cant kick him out» that says to me that you dont give a shit about the saftey of your customers that tells me you dont give a shit about the paying customer and that tells me you care about the bum in the corner than sombody who came looking for a comfortable and safe atmosphere to bring there children. I will not be back borders. You have lost me and anybody I can reach. The more I write the more I get pissed about it.

I had my first experience there last week. I went to pick up a book that had just came out. The store is very clean. The selection and organization of books was incredible. On my way out I stopped at the café and ordered a spiced chai latte.(which was delicious!) The lady behind the counter was very pleasant and helpful, she also signed me up for a Borders card(for free!). So I ended up saving 30% on my book! I will definitely visit Borders again soon!
