I bought 2 Living Social vouchers for J. Steiner Spa in Gahanna(I wanted to take my friend there for a pediucre for her birthday). I called to make an appointment(17 days prior to the vouchers expiration date) and the woman I spoke to said they had no appointments in the next few weeks, and didn’t expect to have any availability before the voucher expired. I asked if they would honor the vouchers after the expiration date since they could not accommodate all of the vouchers — she said no! If you oversell vouchers & cannot accommodate all the requested appointments you should at least extend the expiration date. Living Social is willing to refund my money, which apparently is my only option. I am amazed that a business will not honor the vouchers they have sold if they cannot make room for the customers who bought them. Gahanna and Columbus have many spas who will be happy to have new customers, so if J. Steiner does not want to live up to their commitments I will take my business elsewhere.
