I took my daughter’s car to Tim for a variety of things that needed fixing (doors would open on the inside but not the outside and vice-​versa, trunk wouldn’t stay latched shut because of damage from a collision, hood wouldn’t stay open because the strut was bad, brakes were in need of repair, etc.). Tim fixed everything much faster than I expected and I was very pleased with the results!
I know he took over the business fairly recently and I am very happy to bring my cars there now and in the future.

Do not take your car here! If I could give zero stars I would.
I had my truck towed here because it wouldn’t start, probably because I did something to the wiring system of my automatic start. Anyway he started working on it and called me about an hour later and basically told me that in order to make it run again he’d have to rip out the automatic start, not fix it or find the issue but just take out a part of my truck that was very expensive to have put in. I said ok whatever I just want it running again. So he called back another 30 – 45 minutes later and said it was ready and running. I get there and my bill was $ 225!!! For an hour and a half of work, that required no parts to be installed, he ripped out part of (not all, part off) my alarm/​remote start that I eventually had to get the rest removed at a best buy. So in all it cost me almost $ 500 because I no longer have the remote start/​alarm in it, and had to pay best buy $ 40 to take out the rest.
These guys charge a ridiculous amount of money for what they do. It’s basically 3 guys (without uniforms) with a garage, that charge what ever they want for whatever needs done. I wish I had put up more of a fight about the price but I just vowed to not go there again. Please save your money and do the same.

I took my car for brake work to Stephenson’s after reading a couple of good reviews about honesty. It was a couple days before a 20 hour RT Thanksgiving car ride. I mentioned this to the mechanic during our chat.
I was told I would be contacted prior to Any work being done. We had discussed the rotors being done, and the possibility of the brake pads (a previous brake inspection at another business had told me the rotors were warped, but the pads were fine)
No one ever called, after waiting from 10 until 30 mins before closing time, the Owner calls to tell me my car was ready. He took it upon himself to do the rotors, AND the brake pads, AND he replaced the bulb in headlight (to the tune of $ 75, …I hadnt done it because I had procrastinated stopping at AutoZone for the $ 5 bulb)
We never discussed him fixing the headlight, nor did I give him permission to do ANY of the work. It is against the law for any mechanic to perform work without verbal or written consent to perform the service. They are required by law to tell you the diagnosis and price before performing the service, after inspecting it.
When I picked up my car, I was told that the ball joint was bad and that it would «probably kill me and anyone in my car» (I have 4 kids) After explaining in detail what would happen, he informed me, it would be $ 700 and that he would be willing to get it done in time for my triip, for the safety of my family.
Knowing this happens to be one of the most common SCAMS Mechanics use to pray on women with, I took my car to another mechanic for a second opinion, I was told there was NOTHING wrong with my car. I took it to yet a Third mechanic, I was told the same-​my car was fine and I was being scammed.
If I hadnt known any better, I would have handed over $ 700 to this mechanic for nothing…
