I highly recommend this company for your camera and security needs. Dan and his company installed some very nice cameras at reasonable price for me a few months ago. I had some issues after the installation with accessing my camera system through my smart phone. I emailed Dan and he emails me right away with a solution — great customer service!

I re-​modeled my entire house right at a year ago now and was looking for some advice on how to protect my investment, my home, and my family. I contacted Dan at Security Bud to have him asses my home and offer some guidance as to where I should proceed with protection. I mean after all I would lean on those whose expertise it is to show where the weaknesses are in our security. Dan setup a date to come out and look at my house when it was down to studs and was able to assess where we could put each sensor and camera. He then even was able to offer some advice in other areas of my design that offered more security to my home by rethinking my other projects such as a windowless front door to minimize the «soft» structure there.
I had known Dan outside of business for some time but after his detailed walkthrough I was more than impressed at what he would provide in order to help secure my investment, home, and family. I decided to move forward with Security Bud.
Security Bud installers were able to come out and rough wire the house in my schedule for construction and then waited to finish the job until my schedule permitted.
I have now had the product in my home for a year and can honestly say it was one of the best investments in my families safety and security I have made. The system has ran great since Dan and the Security Bud team finished there install. I recently decided to add another camera and have one repositioned because of some work I was doing that would obstruct the camera and Dan was able to come out quickly and handle the addition.
I would highly recommend this company and product to all of my family and friends. Dan is one of the most professional businessman in the industry while still being able to get dirty and help out his guys when the need arises.

Above and beyond in customer satisfaction. I had cameras installed over a year ago. There was a power outage and my security cameras were not viewable from my mobile device. I called SecurityBud, and they came out and fixed the issue asap. I am so pleased that they gave me great service long after I paid for the security system. The great service did not end when the sale was complete. If your looking for a security system I highly recommend SecurityBud.

A couple of months ago I read so many favorable reviews about SecurityBud that after 2 other estimates from other companies with good reviews, we decided for a 5 camera system for our home. We were extremely pleased with the outcome of the installation and quality of the unit.
Today, 10/​10/​2015 I called Dan at SecurityBud to advise him that one camera was blurry and another was kind of «jumpy» when viewed on my iPad. Dan quickly set up an appointment, showed up on time and re-​adjusted the units. He also did some custom setting up as requested by me. Dan and his company are awesome! I highly recommend them and am thankful that the service is not through after the sale. Dan’s work ethic is beyond expectations.

These guys are exceptional. Especially the owner, Dan, who was very reasonable and accommodating with the residential pricing. When I was scouring Unilocal for professional installation of cctv’s, Securitybud came up. I knew back then that they are the company for the job. I cannot stress enough how excellent their work was. When you meet a business owner that is really passionate with what they do like Dan, you know you’re gonna be in good hands.

Dan and his team are truly outstanding. My wife and I knew nothing about security systems and were looking for something halfway decent for our house and ended up getting truly amazing service. Dan met with me countless times to go over the types of cameras that would work best for our home, the type of setup we were looking for and all the options like monthly fire and home monitoring service, which we definitely wanted. Dan’s crew were prompt every day and cleaned up as though they were never there. They also work with a painter who will go through when they’re done installing and make the walls look even better than did before they did the installation!
But the best part of Dan’s company is really the service. And to me that’s what you’re really paying for when you hire contractors, especially ones in the security industry that you’ll be relying on in the years and months ahead. Dan and his staff would answer their phones seemingly at all hours of the day or night, on the weekends, etc. to answer any question I had no matter how ridiculous. I know Dan takes a lot of pride in their service and SecurityBud really is the Nordstrom’s of security companies in this area. They have real people who really answer their phones and take care of you. To me that kind of service is priceless. Thank you Dan to you and your team for all your help!!!

security bud I use them in March to reconfigure my cameras I had two other technicians try previously and could not connect my camera to my cell phone security bud was here less than an hour connected my camera to my cell phone reset my password and made sure my wifi was working before he left great service very knowledgeable very pleased with their service at fair price

I was looking for a professional company to install security cameras at my house. I came across securitybud. I called them and the owner Dan came out to my house to give me quote right away. He made me feel comfortable right off the start. He assessed my home and gave me multiple options for camera configuration around my house. I had obtained quotes from other companies but Dan was the most reasonable and he provided the most options and worked with my budget.
The day of installation, Dan and one of his technicians, Angel, arrived on time and installed 6 cameras outside my home. They were fast, efficient, and Dan really pays attention to detail. He went the extra mile to make sure I was completely satisfied and even offered to exchange my black cameras after they were already installed, with white ones, for free. He is very clean and his technician even offered to vacuum my floor when they were done installing a camera in my den and a little dust got on the floor.
I got the 1080p camera resolution and the camera footage is very clear and the night vision looks like it is daylight outside.
I was so impressed with their work that I had them come back and install 2 more cameras in my home. Dan even set up my remote viewing access on my iPad and cell phone so I can see my cameras anywhere I go.

Security Bud gave me what I asked for from beginning to end. Very professional, competent, easy to appease the consumer to their needs while giving their professional recommendations. The company has been back to my residence to add the cameras I had wanted installed and even came back out to move the cameras that I needed a better view since I had a blind spot, even had Dan come out personally to fix the focus on a camera and adjust another to a perfect view on the night vision capabilities. I enjoy their care they take in keeping my residence clean. I’ll be calling them back for sure when I’m ready to have another camera installed. Amazing service! Dan just left my store and I couldn’t have been happier to call him and SecurityBud. We’ve had an issue with one of our cameras and our DVR for years now. I’ve had other companies come by and take a look and they all recommended we spent $ 1K+ on a new DVR and install.
Dan was able to resolve my issue with the camera, tell me about the DVR we are using and let me know my options. Within 30 min he accomplished what no other company has been able to do for years. I can’t recommend Dan and SecurityBud enough! I will be calling them for all our security camera needs in the future.

Looked them up and because of the 5 starts, went ahead and made an appointment for a commercial installation quote. NO SHOW. NO CALL.

Absolutely fantastic service and great pricing! Daniel and his Team take the time as well to explain and walk through any questions/​concerns that you might have. After installation, I ran into a few issues (created by myself, including where I accidentally had the DVR system fall from it’s shelf and the wires came out), where Dan came out himself to help me resolve at no cost, which I found astounding in this day and age!
My neighbors recently had their home broken into and I easily recommended SecurityBud on the spot (during one of Dan’s visits to help with my system), to which they signed up as well. Last week, I was so impressed by Securitybud, I had them install a system in my parents house as well!
Dan and his Team stand by their products and service, so if you’re looking for a security camera company, this is the one to go with! I am definitely a life long customer!

Very pleased with Dan and his team. The day I inquired about services for our corporate building, he and Sindy came down for a walk thru. That evening we had a proposal and a few days later we were scheduled for install.
Install took 1.5 days and the on site crew were very professional, nice and efficient. They showed us how to see everything on our phones and computers and the HD cameras look great and crisp!

A couple of dumb M*$! F@(king LOSERS decided to access the top of my two story commercial building and somehow managed to steal two very large (and extremely heavy) commercial air conditioning units. I guess that wasn’t enough for these dirt bags because they then vandalized a couple more units (which also required replacing). Total Damage: $ 18,000.
As often is the case, I was somewhat late to the party… and decided it would be a good idea to install security cameras with motion detection up there so I can be notified of an «event», check it on my laptop and notify the police if I saw anything (for example: ac units being removed from the roof).
So, I do what I always do… turn to Unilocal.
I saw that SecurityBud had high reviews, and liked that some of the comments said they came in (cost-​wise) a little under the competition.
I called the owner, Dan and was able to reach him right away.
Dan’s came out to the building, took photos and later that day I received a couple of different quotes for various options.
Dan said we need to install an internet connection so I can check in remotely on the «action» — so I called AT&T.
In the meantime, Dan installed the cameras and panel quickly while we were waiting for AT&T to provide an internet hookup. (AT&T came by, and said they couldn’t run the internet cable to the building (WTF !!!). So, guess what?
DAN DID IT! Even though it wasn’t his job… he ran the cable that AT&T should have done. (There was more with AT&T that I won’t get into here, but look for a review coming soon).
I (and my wife) are extremely happy and satisfied with Dan and his company, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND SecurityBud to anyone needing a security system.

My shop has expensive product laying around, and I’m very selective as to who I can do business with. Securitybud was as professional and trustworthy as can be. On time, courteous, and has a super professional crew working with him. Very clean, professional Job and couldn’t ask for more. We are very pleased with the Video Security system that Security Bud recently installed at our Home. The feeling of peace of mind we now have was well worth the investment And I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring both knowledgable and professional security expertise to design a customized security solution.
In addition, we had an immediate security problem to solve, and Dan was responsive in providing fast design, quotation, and installation.

1÷11÷13 — Met with Dan as he came out to our location to do an estimate. I needed to add cameras to my parent’s house to capture activity in front of house as there are cars parked out in front and may stick around during the later hours. I wanted to setup a surveillance system for their home to take footage of activity out in front of the house as well as in the back yard.
Sometimes the dogs will bark constantly but we don’t know if people are out in front or it’s a cat, dog or coyote, etc. With a video surveillance system we would be able to see the footage on TV or on our smart phone or computer.
Dan came across very professional and took the time to explain all the details on what would work best for what I was looking for. Didn’t try to rush me or pressure me into anything specific. Just wanted to find out what my needs were and fulfill them at the best price possible. He provided me several quotes for different quality of cameras to work within my budget.
1÷20÷13 — After getting quotes from other vendors Security Bud came across as the most competitive. The only concern for me now was the job that they were going to do. Got in touch with Dan, told him the quote I liked for the 6 cameras I wanted to have installed and we set a date for him and his crew to come out.
1÷25÷13 — They arrived early 9am (Dan showed up at 8:35am) and got to work right away. Dan emphasized to his crew on making the installation «look pretty» so as to make the camera installation, wiring look less noticeable and hidden.
*TIP* — Cover lunch for the guys while they’re working and bring it back so they can have lunch on location. It’ll save them time, they’ll appreciate it and do an even better job. It will also save YOU time so they don’t need to go out for a lunch break.
The crew… Dan, Nick and Vincente are genuinely professional and take the time to answer questions or address any concerns we had. After they had been working for some time I could start to tell that they honestly want to do a good job for us and address any concerns we had.
They finished the majority of their work today but will be back tomorrow to finish the rest… there were some delays due to the rain.
One tiny issue I had was that the carpet was left a little dirty after gaining access to the attic. No big deal as I just needed to do a little vacuuming after they finished up their work there. They did take the extra step to cover the ladder legs when placed on the carpet and they did take their shoes off when entering the household as requested so you know they are trying.
1÷26÷13 — Arrived 8am sharp and went right to work to finish the rest of what they needed to get done.
Overall the work they did for the installation of the cameras looks incredible. Now we have full coverage of front yard, front door and the street area as well as the backyard including the side walkways. With a 1 TB hard drive we have nearly 1 month’s worth of high-​resolution footage and can always go back to look over any significant events that have taken place.
Nick had mentioned to me that some people try to pickup their own video camera system and install it themselves. The wiring that’s left out could easily be tampered with or cut. The thought of trying to install them myself had crossed my mind as well but I could NEVER do what these guys could do and was glad I got professionals to do the entire installation. If you don’t have experience professionally installing a setup like this don’t even try it. What takes them one day to do could take a week or more and it still wouldn’t even match their level of work. Also, the quality of the professional grade video cameras offered by Security Bud are far greater than what you’d find available for retail.
The cool thing about it is that you can download an app on your iPhone or Android phone and bring up your video footage in real-​time. If the dogs are barking I can open the app and check what’s going on around the house. Even when we’re out and I just want to check on the house I just open the app and view the footage. Honestly, it can’t get better than that.
Remember that you’re inviting strangers from a business to setup a surveillance system in your business or home. For me it was vital to find people that are trustworthy, offer great customer service and can do a professional job. The team at Security Bud are just that and got the job done right. Very impressed with their professionalism and overall work. Security Bud rocks and would definitely recommend them to friends and family!

We had ADT come out for a consult and they quoted us almost double what Security Bud charged. I know that labor and equipment can be expensive but I wasn’t prepared to be hit over the head with that amount. I called Security Bud and they did the job for almost half and upgraded all the equipment from the ADT quote.
Security Bud got the job done at a price I could afford. They also did it professionally, friendly and quickly. I have since referred them two jobs from other business owners I work with. I recommend Security Bud to anyone wanting to relax knowing everything they’ve worked so hard for is safe!
