This place still doesn’t beat the one I frequented when I attended UC Riverside, but better than the ones close to home.
I have been here once, and the staff is nice and generally friendly. I got my upper lip and eyebrows threaded. The lady who attended me did a good enough job, except one eyebrow was just slightly thinner than the other and I broke out on my upper lip the next day. However, I was really glad for the first timer deal they had.
Next time I go, I will make sure to ask for Dhruti as a few friends later on told me that she was great.

They did a good job but had horrible customer service at the front counter. They refused to honor the Unilocal deal I purchased because they said it’s for first time customers only. It was only my 2^nd time here, but they still didn’t honor it. It was the $ 5 for $ 10 worth of threading, and they didn’t even let me use the $ 5 I paid for on Unilocal.That is horrible customer service and lacks integrity. I won’t be back. I hope that $ 5 was worth losing business over.

Oh my god. I was very scared for my first professional threading experience, but Debra made everything calming and nice. She threaded and helped arc my eyebrows quickly, and professionally. When I first entered, everyone greeted me and said hello. I registered on the computer, and was quickly helped onto a chair. She made it fast and simple. I will come and ask for her again. I will brings some friends, too!

First time customers can get eyebrow threading for $ 3, you really can’t beat that price anywhere (it’s $ 9 after that). The ladies are nice, but overall, it was just an okay job, nothing great. There are a couple spots where I had to pluck myself when I got home to make my eyebrows look more even. Definitely give them that first time try with that price though!

This was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded professionally & it won’t be my last. My sister & I checked on Unilocal the other day looking for a good place to get our eyebrows done. We stumbled onto this page since it had high ratings. We decided why not try this place out! When we first walked it, we were greeted & were told to check-​in on the computer they had at the counter. We didn’t have to wait at all! My sister went first since we had my 9 month old nephew. I had the chance to watch my sister get hers done so I would know what to expect. It took less than 5 mins! My turn was up and I was nervous thinking the lady would tell me that she wouldn’t be able to shape mine but amazingly she worked her magic and it came out great! It was our first visit so we got the special of $ 3 instead of the regular $ 9. I will definitely be back here!

I’ve been coming here for quite a while now and let me tell you there are so many talented workers I’ve tried including sameera she’s awsome but usually her schedule is packed and that’s ok bcz I found sb who is as talented. duhrti is the best you can possibly have. Even though I naturally have thick eyebrows not everyone knew how to shape them correct. Duhrti perfect my eyebrows each time I have it done with her. You can see my pic and judge yourself!!!. Go for duhrti I’m not sure if I’m miss-​spelling her name (she’s the lady with the long hair)

Sameera herself is amazing. Brazillian… quick, efficient… and yet, I felt like I knew her when I left. That’s something important to me when working on the most important parts of my body. Coming from a NYC 20 year veteran of waxing, I’d highly recommend her.

Every time I come to this place they are very friendly and always have done an amazing job. Threading my eyebrows and shape them perfectly. Thanks!

I came here for years before I just kept getting worse and worse service. I kept coming here for the fact that it was the only place I had ever gotten a Brazilian, so I was comfortable, but the waxing became MUCH more painful and irritated and proper waxing etiquette and advice was not given by any of the waxers I had FOR YEARS. I got a different answer each time I asked ANY questions about waxing pre/​after care.
I had a handful of bad eyebrow experiences here as well, and if you are all about the brows, you know how frustrating this is to have to wait for it to grow back out every time. The customer service is sub-​par and I had a number of rude experiences. I didn’t want to bash on the business because I had been here for a while, but if I was a new customer, I would want to know if someone had advice for me to avoid this place– as I would say to do so for myself. There are plenty of higher rated places on Unilocal for waxing in this area. I finally came to my senses and found a much better place and I will never come back here again.

If you’re looking to have perfect eyebrows, be sure to ask for Dhruti. She is amazing every time and makes sure her clients are happy with the service.

Very disappointed in this place. The wait was very long. On top of that, I had a Groupon for $ 5 eyebrow threading and the lady told me I couldn’t use it because I came in TWO YEARS AGO– and the Groupon was for first timers only. I politely asked her to accept my groupon because I had already purchased it and forgot that I came in that long ago. She told me to call groupon and get a refund! HOW INCONVENIENT! Very upset, wouldn’t recommend!

I was brought here via the hubsters who surprised me and Unilocaled a salon for hair color for me. He said the place had great reviews, and a winner of best of Orange County and was featured on the news. Well sadly, Hair color is by appointment only, so it wasn’t happening today. What was happening was a good threading.
So when you arrive you check in, take a seat and wait to be called. I waited about 5 minutes before being sat in a salon style chair. Entire process took about 6 minutes.
All she did, was wipe my brows with a tissue, did not remove my eyebrow makeup. Then she Threaded them, cleaned them up a little. Finished them off with a little brush and trim, then wipe with a liquid. That was it. No massage like most other threading places. In fact this is the only threading place that has not massaged me after threading my brows.
But for $ 3.00…I can’t complain, right? I am still not convinced this place is as good as it claims or worthy of the title best of the OC. Service was just okay. Front counter girl was not very confident in answering my questions. Threading lady was very quiet.
I am undecided for now. But it looks like it is a local favorite.

I can’t pluck my eyebrows. Okay, I can’t do anything girly. My eyebrows in particular are sparse and it’s hard to get to every little one (and maybe my tweezers kind of suck). I bought the $ 5 for $ 10 deal off Unilocal and headed over to Sameera’s.
I was worried it would be packed so I got there right after they opened and they were already full. I signed in on the electronic check-​in computer where I could also request someone. In less than 5 minutes, I was called up to get my eyebrows threaded.
The process took maybe 5 minutes. She cleaned it up and left my natural brow line. Afterwards, she checked my brows, fixed them, and even brushed them and put a bit of gel in them. Now I use my «dipbrow» confidently.
First timers only have to pay $ 3 so I saved my deal. A week has passed and no signs of hair there!

Clean, quick, and worth the money! I come here to wax my legs, and I have to admit, the price is just right. It’s $ 20 to wax, and I usually leave $ 4 – 5 tip so for $ 25 to wax your legs, I consider that a steal. It is true that upon entering the workers can be intimidating. The first time there, they had like 5 – 6 workers just standing there and all they did was stare at me as I checked in on their touchscreen computer. A little scary, but the second time I went, they were busy with their clients so I didn’t get the stares like the first time. Other than that, they do a pretty good job! I love how at the end they actually clean up the waxed area and put some sort of oil on it to calm your skin down. Some places don’t do that! I also like how they offer to wax your toes (when you do your legs) as well. A service that’s usually an additional cost that is offered for free? Love it!
Oh, must not forget to mention, they have a lot of good deals like the Unilocal offers, but they’re for first time customers only! All of their other services are really cheap too, and I can only imagine how well those services are too. I’ll eventually try their other waxes once I’m done exploring other salons, but for now, this is my go to place strictly for legs :)

Frankly this review is overdue. I’ve been checking into Sameera’s Salon since it opened back in 2010. There are so many things that I could say but the two things that stand out to me the most are the prices and the quality of service that come with it.
The owner Sameera is a one of a kind person. She will remember your name from the day she meets you. She has a sense of humor and a way to make you feel like you’re a part of this family. She is kind and makes the experience of going to this salon remarkable.
The number one reason I come in here is for the hair cuts by Maryam!!! My entire family all go to her to get their hair cut and they’ve never been less than satisfied. She is fantastic. She is better than any other person I’ve ever been to for a hair cut. I am not exaggerating. I always thought I couldn’t do anything with my hair except straightening it. Maryam found a way to make my curls work. To top off her work she is a profound and honestly wonderful human being. She gives you advice afterwards on how to treat your hair and keep it healthy. The price of the hair cut is 15 dollars. I mean cmon. It’s the price of SuperCuts with the quality of any downtown Fullerton salon (if not better).
I love Maryam and trust her with my life.
You can go to anyone for the eyebrows. They all do a good job at this location.
I never leave Sameera’s without feeling like life was given back to my hair and eyebrows. This should be your go to place for your beauty needs. If you’re a Downtown Fullerton regular, this place is worth the extra 5 minute drive. Trust me.

I’ve been here at least 3 – 5 times for both eyebrows and a Brazilian wax. I think it’s the owner who does the waxes? She’s very friendly and welcoming! However, I do agree with some Unilocalers on the unwelcoming looks/​feelings you get from some of the threading ladies.
I came here to try them out because I couldn’t justify paying $ 55 for a Brazilian wax at my previous salon. I believe their prices are still $ 35 and they currently have a check in deal $ 19 for a Brazilian!
I personally don’t like the set up of the place, esp the waxing room itself. No décor and just really bright lights. Not comforting at all lol esp when you’re about to endure some waxing pain haha. There’s definitely no privacy in the sense of walking to the waxing room and right across you see men/​women getting a haircut.

This is my favorite place to get my eyebrows threaded. They are all very friendly and welcoming! I started coming here when they first opened (recently started to «check in on Unilocal») and haven’t gone anywhere else since! But beware! All of their promotions on Unilocal,Groupon, and $ 1 deals are for new customers only! I made the mistake of purchasing the $ 5 for $ 10 on Unilocal and now it’s just sitting there :(
When I come to get my brows threaded, there’s one person I always come to and its Dhruti. She is honestly amazing at what she does. She pays attention to the smallest strands and connects on a personal level of more than just «how was your day…» It seems like every time I go in, she has every customer waiting for her by request. And believe me, she is definitely worth the wait!

I swear I left my 5 star rave for Sameera, her technicians, & salon. But I guess it didn’t post? Well, I have no problems reposting because I absolutely AHHHDORE Sameera!
I happened to stumble upon Sameera & her salon while perusing an email (from Groupon? LivingSocial? Can’t remember honestly.) of brazilian bikini waxes. I have been a pretty loyal Wax Candy customer for the past couple years but I have been finding it a lot harder to make it to Downtown (not to mention remember to bring quarters for the very limited meters.) LA. The name of the salon is what caught my eye and immediately made me check Unilocal; they have glowing reviews! I knew that at a heavily discounted rate with almost 500 reviews and a 4 star rating, I had nothing to lose, er well, you know what I mean ;P
I made an appointment easily with a phone call and a quick chat to let them know that I had purchased a deal online. Once I was at the appointment I was instructed to check in via the monitor and fill out a form. Within minutes I heard a «Q! Is there a Q here?» I knew it was me because there were only 3 of us and only I looked up. I was greeted by none other than Sameera herself! She quickly asked me how to pronounce my name because she was afraid of butchering it; little did she know, a lot of people/​friends call me Q. :)
I won’t sugar coat this, to this day there have only been 4 people prior to Sameera to have seen my «goodies» –I’m not even one of the 4! So I was pretty nervous for our first appointment. But almost instantly I was chatting it up and laughing away with Sameera while she went to [down]town. We talked as if we were catching up over a couple of drinks at a bar. I loved how she also made the time to educate me on proper exfoliation.
10 minutes later I’m in her chair for the New Customer $ 1 eyebrow threading special. This was my first threading experience and baby, I like it! Like the exfoliation education, she gave me a short lesson in filling in my eyebrows, and how to shape. Not to mention, I got a homework assignment: leave my eyebrows alone and let them grow!
I’ll say this: Sameera is definitely worth the trip out here. I’ve driven from Pasadena to Fullerton for an appointment with her. She’s GREAT! My appointments are always a blast! Last, shout out to Faith! Great receptionist :)
