Our mission is to provide affordable and professional wedding photography and design services. We provide beautiful wedding photographs and invitation designs that showcase the vision and experience of a couple’s special day as they share it with family and friends.
Our photography is fresh, elegant, clean, classic and always super fun. Every session with us is filled with laughter and joy! We combine a photo-journalistic approach of capturing candid moments as they happen and beautiful posed shots. We use available, natural light and seek after beautiful light whenever possible.
We love telling the story of a wedding through the people and details of the day.
We love beautiful photography but we don’t love a big price tag!

Business Owner
My name is Marisa. I am an artist, a painter, a photographer, a designer and a teacher. I graduated from Biola University in 2009 with a bachelors degree in Fine Arts. Both of my parents started out as wedding photographers and ended up becoming a videographer and a graphic designer, so I guess you could say art-making is in my blood! Peterson Design & Photography, like many photography businesses, is a husband and wife team of photographers. :) My husband Tim also graduated from Biola in 2008 with a degree in Business and has been honing his photography skills ever since he bought his first digital camera over 7 years ago. We LOVE taking photographs, and if we aren’t taking pictures, then we are talking about, thinking about and looking forward to taking them! :)
