I suggested this place to someone after having being sent here from someone else. My own experience was-​meh. Long story short I have had to come Back to the shop repeatedly about 4 – 5 times for them to fix something, each time practically giving me the run around, not really explaining much. They are Very dismissive.
ANYWAY, I was completely floored when I received the call I did after I recommended my friend come here for a service that was fairly cheaper than other shops. Another long story short, she brought her car here for repair of a right axel boot and wheel bearing. She dropped her car off around 11:30−12pm on Monday 11/​16, and was told it should be done by 5pm same day. Received a call around 2, saying it would be ready for pickup by 3:30pm. Wow, I’d never expect much of a thorough job done in that rapid amount of time, but whatever. So the car is picked up, & is making a sound that it has Never made before. Being that she could not miss anymore work than she already had to have the car serviced in the first place, she decided she’d have to wait until the coming weekend to have them fix whatever they had messed up. The sound wasn’t extreme, it honestly didn’t seem like it was a Huge issue, that’s why there was really no true concern. Boy were we wrong. By Friday evening, 11/​20, my friend was running errands, AND she had my 5 y/​o son with her while I worked, BOOM, her ENTIRE right tire comes OFF. Leaving the car sitting in the middle of a Chase bank drive way. Thank GOODNESS she hadn’t been on a freeway or going high speeds.
Yes the owner, Marcos, was very apologetic. Yes he did what he could to make her happy & accommodate her, even offering a loaner car, etc. Saturday morning the car was indeed fixed, and I took her to pick it up. We asked what the hell, how the hell could such a thing happen, & he calmly says his guy forgot to put the bolts back. It was so casual it was sickening! To sum up how we feel, they’re incompetent, they rush their jobs, sucky customer service, too dismissive, & they Do NOT care about their customers and their safety!!! RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!

First class service, high quality work. Everything was explained to me very clearly as well. No easy task since I know nothing about cars. Nice guys.

This is the second time I’ve reviewed this business. My poor 2003 Ford Focus gave out on me last weekend and I was am absolute mess trying to resolve my car issues. Once again, Marco and his team did a wonderful job in not only being completely transparent with the issues plaguing my car but in calming me down. They replaced the head gasket at a competitive price and reassured me that I wouldn’t have further engine problems. Since moving to Fullerton in 2012 for school, I can say that I am truly happy to have made friends with the guys at One Way Auto and completely trust them with my car repairs. If for nothing, go by and say hi to them; Marco and Mark are hilariously entertaining and make you feel right at home, which is nice to have when you’re dealing with car repairs.

Don’t you love it when a company/​service actually does what they promise? Got a flat tire later in the day, called and owner told me he could plug my tire and get me out in 10 min. Well that’s exactly what happened. Excellent customer service! I would definitely go back!

One Way Auto is the only way! I will never take my business elsewhere. As a young woman, it can be intimidating to get your car repaired. I know for certain I’ve been taken advantage of at least once in the past. When I came to one way auto, I immediately knew I was being taken care of.
The owner Marco said I reminded him of his daughter who was in college. He said he wanted to treat me like he would want someone to treat his daughter while she was away in a new city. I was blown away by the compassion this business has! They genuinely care about their customers and they go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of.
This place can be trusted and they have very knowledgeable/​skilled mechanics who don’t want to dig into your wallet!

These guys are hands down the BEST guys to work with when getting ANYTHING done on any vehicle. Ive had a rack and pinion replaced on my Chevy Colorado, tires aligned and rotated. And now im about to do breaks, right side window motor repair, and ac fan fix… i refuse to go to anyone else and i would refer them to anyone. ANYONE. Good prices. Super reliable super quick fast friendly service. I cant find one thing to complain about with these guys… And if there is something to complain about it has to be that ONE customer that THE WORLD does NOT want to deal with. Came in here multiple times and was never disappointed with the job. Marco the owner knew i came in multiple times so he even did a flat tire for me on the house. they do great work here and will definitely come here again for my car

I honestly wish I can give this place a bigger rate than a 5 star it should be a 10 star! I have had my car is bad shape for 3 months, it got to a point where it wouldn’t want to turn on sometimes. And honestly I’m not a rich person and don’t make a huge income and didn’t have money to afford to get it fixed I just went in for a estimate. But the people there are so nice and helpful, the owner. WOW! I’m blessed to have come to this place he is helping me out because of my situation. And my car is running so good. Didn’t have problem starting it on doesn’t sound weak it sounds like it’s back in good shape! Overall I’m grateful to have found this place! I recommend you to come here !! I’ve spent thousands of dollars at One Way, but I wouldn’t take my business anywhere else. They’re always knowledgeable, friendly, and will work with you on your situation.
You don’t feel cheated. They walk you through their process and give you options. They have always given me a deal. They’ll go a little extra far just for the sake of good graces. At one point— they fixed the wrong thing after tracing a leak. They didn’t stop until they fixed the wrong thing. Comped it all. Just had to bring it back. And they offer to give you a ride/​loan out a vehicle for FREE.
Seriously these guys deserve the happiest of vibes and the best of karma. I’ve been involved in the auto industry my entire life and have yet to meet more positive, intelligent people.

There is no other garage that I would ever trust to touch my cars. I’d give more stars if I could! This place knows how to treat their customers. They do fantastic (honest) work. Always upfront & informative.
As for the owner… Put simply, he puts people first. He has a true understanding that if you put people first, you will always be successful. In business & life. His garage is a model for all other businesses to follow.

Per request of America’s Tire, I went to One Way for an alignment of my vehicle. Though, my story is unique because of the fact that I had gotten an alignment at a separate shop a week prior. The previous shop I had gone to wasn’t able to get my steering wheel straight, despite multiple tries. Though I have used the other shop before with good success, their service this past time wasn’t on par with what I had experienced before. With that in mind, I called One Way in the morning looking to see of they had an opening. Like always, I had been greeted nicely and had been told to come right in. Upon arrival I exclaimed my wheel wasn’t straight after the previous alignment from the other shop. One of the techs took my car out for a drive, came back, adjusted the steering, and prompted me to test it myself. So, I drove it myself, and behold the wheel is straight! Upon arriving back at the shop to take care of the paperwork and payment, the tech had exclaimed no further interaction was needed, and sent me on my satisfied way.
To conclude, I recognize that finding an honest shop is tough to come by. I’ve dealt with a lot of shops, and hands down One Way has some of the best customer service and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. They hit all the key points within quality of service, customer satisfaction, and all with competitive prices. You won’t be disappointed with One Way.

Great find. I needed to make multiple work on my accord and all the places gave me nothing less than $ 550 estimates until I found this shop, I took my car in and I instantly knew that it was a great place, all floors clean nothing out of place everyone there was very welcoming. I definitely recommend this shop to everyone, the owner Marco will give you a ride if you need to and they’ll pick you up once they are done with your car.

One Way is BY FAR the best auto repair and service shop I have been to ever since I started driving. The owner Marco is the most genuine guy who really treats his customers with respect and compassion. If you don’t make this place a routine stop, you are truly doing yourself a disservice. Best place to get your car fixed. Not only did Marco fix my car and get it running again, but he made sure I had transportation. Even up to the point where he lended me one of his personal cars. He also cares and is considerate of college students so he gave me a good deal for being a student. Seriously hands down the most loveliest professional mechanic ever. You usually can’t trust mechanics but Marco the owner of one way auto, seems to really care about his customers. A mechanic you can trust.

ALERT — — at the recommendation of American Tires, I called One Way Auto. I talked to the owner and a sales rep. They told me that they had 30 years experience in suspension. My truck is brand new and I wanted to get a leveling kit installed. At first they couldn’t tell me a price, which made me suspicious. Later they called back with a price. The price seemed high compared to other leveling kits I had installed but I thought it might be due to the truck being a 2500. I get the tires installed at America Tire and take the truck over to One Way Auto.
Over two hours later I call to get a status. The sales person says the owner needs to talk to me. The owner, Marco, tells me that my stock shocks are too short and that I need to get new shocks. I tell them no way, put everything back and realign. They say ok. I get there less than 15 minutes later and he is parking the truck. So I am wondering how he put everything back together so fast. I then talk to the owner who says that I still have to pay for the leveling kit. I reminded him that on the phone I asked him several times if he was sure there are no other costs or parts. I did this because of a few of the other bad reviews.
The sales person, nice guy, then tried to sell me the shocks at cost. I said no and they did give me $ 200 cash back (my deposit). I’m calling my credit card company to cancel my card because I don’t trust this place. I also called Americas tire and told them what happened. I will call the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.
I still don’t know if they took anything off my truck or just let it sit. I will need to take it to get the alignment checked since they said they had it apart.

We were passing through Fullerton from our friends’ wedding when our turning signal burned out. I thought it would take us some time to find a place and to repair it. I know, it’s a minor problem but it was very important to fix it quick. I found the place through Unilocal,we called it — Mark, the guy that works there, said we can come over and they could fix it immediately. Marco, the owner of the place, fixed everything himself in just a couple of minutes and didn’t even charge us anything! So nice to deal with kind people that know what they are doing on top of all that. Thank you, guys!

After getting a fresh set of tires at America’s Tire I asked who they recommend for an alignment and they held this shop in high regard, since I had to go to work I sent my wife over to get a quote for our 2007 Honda Fit. I let her know there is no possible adjustment on the rear of this car as it uses a torsion beam that the hubs are bolted to. I had her make sure she let them know that we knew this, so we would not be wasting money for a non adjustable rear end… They quoted $ 50 for a front end and $ 70 for a front & rear alignment, insisting that there is adjustments to be made, while the prices are competitive this was the first red flag. While she was there I had her let them know wanted the front camber to be set at –1.5 degrees with caster/​toe set to factory specs, they said this wouldn’t be a problem.
Lets keep in mind the only way to get these numbers are camber bolts and that I’ve had these settings done at two other QUALITY alignment shops without issue…
So I sent her in the next day with the $ 50 for the front end only alignment that she was quoted for. They start work on the car then come in saying the camber bolts were installed wrong (yes, a bolt going through one of TWO holes in the strut/​knuckle was installed wrong… funny how the previous shops had no issues adjusting everything) and that she would have to pay $ 20 more because the job is going to be much more time consuming… when I get home I go over the before and after numbers from the print out and it clearly states «customer specified –1.5 degrees camber»
Left front Before –0.4 After –0.4
Right front Before-0.3 After –0.4
They also have numbers for the rear which we did not want and were not willing to pay for!
I talked over the phone to see what was going on with these numbers and they couldn’t get any more than the –0.4 that was done, I instantly questioned their ability to do the job, implying they were obviously incompetent.
My wife tried to schedule an appointment they said it wouldn’t be needed and that they would have her in and out in 30 min, all in all she spent 2 hours.
So, to sum up this shop, they charge more for things you don’t want, can’t perform what they claim they can do, waste time, and try to BS the customer. STAY FAR AWAY!!!
I’m half expecting to look and see that they removed the bolts and stuck stock ones back in.
SPC #81 260 1 set (one bolt per strut) 1.75 degree + or — camber possible (you can also run 2 bolts each side for + or — 3 degrees)
Yes I am aware of the EZ shims for the rear but these are not installed on the car and it would take a very competent shop to install these correctly, most wont even attempt those shims.

Older gentleman I spoke to on the phone was nice and remembered me from the day before when I called to inquire. Crowded parking lot and there can be congestion getting in and out. Ppl maneuvering and walking around moving cars was chaotic.
I got my alignment done and I waited in the lounge area. It was nicer than I expected. He quoted me about 30 mins. Took almost twice as long. I arrived at 9am and filled out quick paperwork then waited. By the time I paid to leave, it was 9:50. I’m disappointed with the great reviews this place has received. The front desk woman was not friendly or welcoming either.
I did get a brake down of recommendations for my car. That was a plus. Not sure if I would return.
