I can’t recommend Nina enough as an agent. I am a first time home buyer and had no experience related to purchasing a home. Nina was there for me the whole way. From start to finish, she made sure I was well taken care of during the many ups and downs that come with purchasing a home.
I can tell right away that Nina conducted herself with high integrity and moral standards; hence, she isn’t in the business in trying to pressure you into purchasing an more expensive home just so she can make a higher commission. When Nina and I were looking at homes, she never pressured me into purchasing anything. She showed me listings within my buget, and gave me the opportunity to allow myself to decide what home I wanted to purchase. This made house hunting fun!
When I finally decided to put an offer in, she was there to walk me through the paperwork and answered all of my questions. When I had to counter offer 3 different times, she was there to help talk it out with me and give me my options. When I finally got my offer accepted, she was there to help me with the escrow process and answer the million other questions. When the escrow process derailed towards the end from an unanticipated issue, she was on the phone, sending emails, doing everything possible to get it back on track. She worked late nights and long hours behind the scene to ensure everything was taken care of and addressed. And when escrow finally closed, she was there to give me my keys!
Throughout this whole experience, Nina was there for me and truly cares about the homebuyer, and I am sure the same goes for the the home seller. I would recommend Nina instantly, and I will definately use her again for future home buying and home selling needs.

It’s not every day that we are fortunate enough to work with someone like Nina. She is the most professional and helpful real estate agent we’ve ever worked with. Nina is very knowledgable, patient, and courteous. We were looking for a house to lease and were on a very tight deadline. Nina helped us narrow down our options; she understood our needs, the style we were looking for, and what appealed to us. She also made all the necessary appointments for us to see the different properties. She came prepared with the printouts of all the homes we chose to see. She was also very flexible and accommodating when it came to scheduling appointments. Because of her hard work and diligence, our meetings were so productive and we were able to find a lovely home in a super short period of time. Nina even negotiated on our behalf and ensured that we were beyond satisfied. Her top priority was to ensure our happiness in the new place. Nina also helped us with the walkthrough and was always there for us even after we moved in and needed some help. Words don’t just do justice to describing how smooth and wonderful our experience was when we worked with Nina. We are very grateful for all she’s done and we highly recommend her.

Nina persistently stuck with us on our home search. We were very picky buyers with very little funds. But she helped make it possible. Nina was always so fun to go look at houses with and made the confusion and the options more managable! We highly recommend her, for help with your next move!

Nina is amazing! She helped me and my husband buy our home in Oct. 2012. She was always so sweet and patient with us since we had no idea what we were doing. Its been one year since we purchased our first house from Nina. No one really warns you of this crazy emotional experience about buying a house. All we knew was that we want to buy a house to raise our son. We started looking at houses on the weekend afternoon (only time both of us was not working). The first few houses we looked at, Nina hung back and asked for our opinions. I didn’t realize that E and I have opposite views of what we want. There were some houses that had some interesting surprises such as a ¾ bathroom in the garage (I guess it is comes in handy if you can’t make it to the house).
Nina informed us that the housing market was starting to move quickly. Homes that came out on the market were sold within a few days (sucks for us). E and I decided we need to kick it up a notch by meeting separately with Nina on the weekdays. For 3 solid months, Nina was working the system trying to set up appointments to look at homes on the weekdays as well as weekends. With my crazy schedule, Enrique saw a lot more homes than I did. The ones he liked, Nina would make a notation and set up a time for me to see the house on the weekend. Nina picked up on what I liked and what I didn’t which was great especially when she was house hunting with E.
A few of things that stand out:
1. Flexible with accommodating your schedule.
2. Personable — open minded to your ideas and interest and can chart out potential homes that would suit your interest in a timely manner.
3. Knowledgeable — based on her years of experience, she displays keen instincts towards trends and buyers interest.
We would recommend Nina to anyone especially if you are first time home buyers!!!

We cannot praise Nina Havalind enough for her expertise in selling our property in Azusa this summer. She went the extra mile during the entire process. This was a rental property and we do not live nearby so it was important to us to find someone we can trust. Nina kept us in the loop every week and answered all of our questions promptly.
