While we do complete automotive repair we specialize in diagnositics and electrical repair.

We take the time to properly diagnose your problem and reaplace only what needs to be, not just any part within the system. Spend a little money up front diagnosing and save money long term.

Much of our business is shops bringing cars in to us that they cannot fix.

History

Established in 1976.

Starting out over 30 years ago doing mobile diagnostics for repair shops and dealerships we quickly outgrew our van and needed a brick and motar shop.

We’ve been in two different locations in fullerton and have a strong following from repair shops sending their problems our way.

We currently have a small shop made for customers dropping off their cars and allowing us to repair them and diagnose them correctly. We unfortunately do not have a waiting room for customers, but drop off your car in the morning and let us get to work!

I’ve been coming to Rich for the past several problems I’ve had with my car. It’s hard to find a good, honest mechanic, but I can always trust Rich. You won’t feel ripped off or lied to when it comes to the repairs and costs for your car.

Just used them again and I could not be happier!
Needed a major repair done on my truck and got quotes from a couple places. Dealer was crazy expensive, next best option was $ 500 under dealer. Called Rich and asked if they do all automotive repair and even though he was booked for the day he took my truck, got me a discounted rate on a rental vehicle and finished my truck in only a couple days. Best of all – he saved me $ 800 over the dealer cost and everything came out great!
Will not hesitate to use them again. Fair prices but most importantly they are honest. I knew exactly what my truck needed/didn’t need and unlike other shops he did not try to sell me things I didn’t need.

Been here twice with my car, once for a new starter and oil change and the second because of a wire that came loose on the starter almost three months later. While inconvenient that the cable came loose, they fixed it for free and had it back to me very quickly. They’re honorable guys and they did the first job for a great price as well.

$ 137 for oil change and tire rotation. Plus, they didn’t fix my slow leak, which I asked them to fix. Although this is my first bad experience with them, their negligence lead to a flat tire on the way to work. Not to mention, the over inflation of prices on their parts for the oil change and tire rotation. Not only am I angry, but feel taken advantage of due to the fact that we have done business together before. It’s incredibly disheartening and I, unfortunately will not be returning because of this.

Rich is a great mechanic with a ton of integrity. I don’t think you’ll get better repairs or service anywhere else. He services my parents (who are 80-​ish) cars and always strives to give them the best while saving them as much money as possible.

I have used Miller for all of my cars for 10 plus years and Rich (the owner) is amazing. He is honest and his guys are very knowledgeable. His prices are very fair and I trust his judgement. He has been known to loan his personal car as a loaner and at no charge. I highly recommend this shop.

My experience today was remarkable… I’m not kidding!
My a/​c needed serving so I called and came in «last minute» on a Saturday morning during this horrific heat wave we’ve been having. He was going to squeeze me in before he left for the day, as he only works till 10:30 on Saturdays.
Rich had to call for a part, & had them rush it over, as he didn’t want to keep me waiting too long. It was done lickety split, and the price was more than reasonable.
I will recommend his shop to EVERYONE I know!

labor cost was the lowest i’ve seen, he was very thorough with the problems with my car, but he only uses OEM parts. the costs were pretty high after that.

We have taken two of our cars here on the recommendation of one of my husbands coworkers. Now me, I don’t know jack squat about cars. My hubs says the work is excellent and done for a reasonable price. Hubs is willing to drive all the way over to Fullerton to get the work done so he must be happy.

I have been going to see Rich at Miller Automotive Electric for many years and have referred him to my sister, daughter and co-​workers. He is always fair and dependable and the work has been excellent. He has worked on Ford Explorer and my Lexus even when it was in warranty. It is such a great feeling to know a mechanic that is fair and does great work. I go to him for all my auto needs, electrical, regular check-​ups, tire and battery replacements and even my glass window. and I don’t even shop around anymore. I know you will be pleased and I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a mechanic.

Awesome! My mom and step dad have been coming to Rich for years. He’s always incredibly fair. Just had some work done on my car (oil change, trans flush, etc) all for less than $ 200. When I took it to other places they were quoting me almost double. At least at Miller Auto, I know the work will be done right and at a fair price. I highly recommend them!
