LabCorp

While I was waiting to get a glucose test, I noticed them administering some of the wrong tests to the patients and having to do it over again. It feels a little understaffed and the facilities (including the restrooms) weren’t very clean.

This place closes their doors early when they state that it closes at 5 pm. I went there at 4:40 pm to draw blood and they told me that they could not do it because I needed to come 30 minutes earlier, so I went there at 4:25 the following day. When I came in, the staff behind the counter looks at her watch and it seemed as if she was ready to close the doors. she looks at my paper and tells me that she can’t draw my blood because the people who pick up the blood already came at 3 and will not be back. WHY DIDN’T SHE TELL ME TO COME BEFORE 3 YESTERDAY! She then went on telling me to go to another place as if she didn’t want me to come after 4 anymore because she wanted to go home early. I was so outraged by this so I went to another location (placentia) and they told me that so many clients have complained about the Fullerton place because they are suppose to take all clients who come in before 5! The receptionist has to go back and brush up on labcorp’s policy. She needs to stop sending people away because she doesn’t want to do the paperwork. The company needs to seriously investigate or reprimand this receptionist.
On the flip side, I love the technicians who work there because they are so friendly and gentle so I have no problem with the facility and technicians who draw blood. ONLY the receptionist who keeps making excuses because she does not want to complete the paperwork and closes the doors early!

Hey, if you’re gonna have to go see a vampire, at least these folks are friendly and efficient!
I’m constantly being evaluated for one thing or another and have to go get blood (and other) tests so I show up at LabCorp every few months for a jab in the arm. I’ve been to other labs and they just don’t seem as well run as this one.
Rarely have I had to wait longer than about 5 minutes, if I even have to wait at all. Kudos for that.
Occassionally they need to pick up the floor… so that’s why I dinged them a star. I feel a Lab should be spotless. But I know they are clean in every other way, THAT much is obvious. Reach down and pick up your wrappers and papers, then I’ll hang another star on my review.

ONE lab technician doing both paper and lab work on a Saturday morning. Had an appointment at 10:30 and waited 2 hours. NOT the lab technician’s fault; management needs to adequately staff or inform patients accurately of the wait time. Very frustrated when your Saturday morning is blown because company understaffs their facility.

Location was a little hard to find, but it was worth it. The staff was very helpful, they are pleasant to deal with and they even make small talk while they drain vials and vials of blood. I promise it didn’t hurt a bit =)

stopped by today for a urine test for my job. great service, good location, nice and clean. ive been to other labcorp locations but this one is as good as it gets. forgot to check in haha.

Went there for blood work today. The office was small, but clean. The phlebotomist was amazing!!! I am a big super baby about getting blood drawn and the guy was pleasant, accurate (one stick — no pain) and fast! He’s my new personal phlebotomist — guess I should have gotten his name.
