Not really impressed. Paid $ 4.00 and I got salted carmel ice cream and a scoop of pistachio in a sugar waffle cone. The waffle cone wasn’t crisp and tasted more like a doughy clump of mush. I couldn’t really get the full flavor of the ice cream because it was masked by the waffle cone. Cute concept though with being able to build an ice cream cookie

Amazing… I’ve been several times and it gets better each time. Cookies with ice cream on Crack. Personally I would go to this place over Afters. Be sure to follow them on Instagram for their daily specials.

My boyfriend was craving some ice cream after lunch on a late Friday afternoon so I went on Unilocal and came across this place. The pictures looked too good to pass up so we gave it a try.
It’s located at the bottom of the apartment buildings across the street from Cal State Fullerton next to WaBa Grill and 85 °C Bakery Café. I heard you can park in the structure but there’s also 20 minute street parking and that’s all we needed. It’s a relatively small place so it might be easy to miss. The signage is very colorful though.
I was drawn to this place because of their different ice cream flavors like Ube and Thai Coconut. They have waffle cones in different flavors like that as well but they’re not always available because I wanted to the Ube waffle cone and they didn’t have it so I just got chocolate. I got two scoops of the Ube ice cream with rainbow sprinkles and it was $ 4.75 I believe? 10% off if you check in on Unilocal!
It was so good. I could really taste the Ube flavor and two scoops was actually too much for me! I had trouble finishing it.
Since summer is approaching this place is a must try. Thai Coconut is next on my list!

Went in this past Monday night to check this place out because my boyfriend and I just moved to the area and it was within walking distance from our apartment.
Ice cream sandwiches were good but it’s overpriced and not as good, nor fresh, compared to Diddy Riese or CREAM.
Although good, I don’t think I’ll be coming back due to the service. When we walked in, the 2 girls working were standing in the back chit chatting, saw us come in, and continued to stay back there for a while giggling amongst themselves while we were waiting up front for someone to help us out. When one of the girls finally came out from the back, I greeted her first and said «hi» and I literally got nothing back. Even when we were ordering she barely said no more than a few words to us which made us feel really uncomfortable.
Workers need to get trained better on customer service if the owners want to keep this store opened and running. I wouldn’t have minded paying $ 5 for an ice cream sandwich if the customer service was good, but it wasn’t.

Parking can be found on street or parking structure with validation. It is small. The flavors of ice cream is different such as Thai tea, ube, etc. there famous for ice cream sandwiches, I had the donut with Cookie Monster. It wasn’t too sweet which is a plus, the donut itself was flat but delicious. However the Cookie Monster flavor lacked flavor. Overall good experience and the customer service was friendly!

Just came back from here and this definitely helped my sweet tooth! We came like an hour ago so they ran out of cookies but they had my mine and my brothers favorite: snicker doodle. I tested a few flavors, and got the salted caramel with two soft snicker doodle cookies. I was surprised how soft the cookie was in the middle, wish it was a little more crispier but it was delicious nonetheless! I usually go with the safe route and get the cookies n cream, but the salted caramel was so creamy and had the right amount of sweetness. My brother got the red velvet and snicker doodle cookie with cookies and cream ice cream and he loved it as well! Will come here more often; love how it’s close by and the prices are reasonable!

MUST TRY: Thai coconut brownie, Double chocolate fudge brownies with walnuts, and white pistachio ice cream. Their brownies are chewy, sweet and dense, just the way i like it!
SKIP: The cookies. I think their cookies are good but ordinary… i don’t really like the ube cookie though. It taste a bit chalky. The ube ice cream is good though. Maybe as an ice cream sandwich it would be good, but then id just prefer brownies over cookies.
Overall its a decent dessert place. Instagram photo worthy presentation they have with their ice cream sandwiches. :)

This place is perfect for when you’re craving asian ice cream + cookies. Inside SKUP has tons of unique ice cream flavors that will please most people! Parking is in a lot, or street parking.
Thai Coconut:
The thai coconut flavor was nothing to get too excited for. The coconut flavor is pretty mellowed out, and tastes kind of artificial. But if you’re not too picky with ice creams, this is a good flavor to take a whack at.
Ube:
I love ube anything, and the fact that they even offer this flavor here is a +1 for me! The flavor was good – I could really taste the ube. The coconut that’s added in here really compliments the ube, too! MmmMm *_​* Definitely my favorite flavor here.
Lychee:
A standard lychee ice cream. It was pretty average, in my opinion.

THE DESSERT:
This place is amazing! Their ice cream are so delicious and creamy. To top it off, their cookies are also really good. They are really moist and goes well with their ice cream. My favorite flavors for their cookies include the Thai Coconut and Ube. For the ice cream, I do enjoy their White Pistachio, Ube, and Thai Iced Tea flavors. If cookies are not really your thing, they do have bars that are equally as delicious or you can simply just eat the ice cream by itself. They offer toppings to go with the ice cream as well. In combination, the ice cream, cookies/​bars, and toppings go together to form a really delicious treat.
THE SERVICE:
This could be a little better. In the number of times that I have been to Inside SKUP, I must say the servers don’t seem too inviting and don’t really smile too much. This is the primary reason why this place did not get a full 5 stars. Service is such a big deal in anything dealing with food business. If this is fixed/​bettered, I do think that the general customer experience would be much better and more people would be apt to recommending and coming back to this place, as would I.
Overall, I do highly recommend this place. The dessert treats that they serve are extremely delicious!
ADDED BONUS: They also have protein cookies for all you macro counters/​gym buffs out there!

This place is just okay. The pictures I saw on Unilocal made it seem a lot better than what I expected, which was a big disappointment.
The flavors aren’t very original. They sell flavors such as cookie monster (a la Afters), ube, french vanilla, horchata, salted caramel, cookie dough… Pretty basic compared to most new ice cream places. They also sell different kinds of cookies, from ube, chocolate nutella, thai coconut, and snicker doodle. The cookies and brownies are what make this place a bit more exciting, but not enough to make me want to come back.
The workers here are incredibly nice and allow you to sample flavors. The place itself is small, but they have a few tables if you want to dine in. Overall, there are definitely better ice cream/​dessert choices around the area, but this place is ok. Nothing extraordinary but not horrible.

My review will strictly be on what I ordered:
Ice Cream Sandwich with:
— Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie with Nutella: On the chewy side, but I don’t mind that at all! The cookie itself is pretty standard and they are generous with the amount of nutella in the center. Buttery, salty, chewy… yum!
— Thai Coconut Bar: This was a smidge too dense for my personal preference. I decided to get this since it was something that stood out from the rest of the cookies and brownies. The coconut flavor was subtle. Not sure if they also use pandan to flavor this coconut bar, but I got that pandan aroma.
— Lychee Ice Cream: If you love lychee, this is definitely one of the better lychee ice creams I’ve had in a while. It had bits of lychee throughout and wasn’t cloyingly sweet or anything. I personally think for anyone that has never tried lychee, be sure to ask them for a sample! This flavor is great on a hot day.
— Ube Cream: I’ll admit, I’m Filipino and I LOVE UBE. There’s a nostalgia behind it for me so this was a no brainer to add to my ice cream sandwich. The flavor of coconut and purple yam is such a match made in heaven.
OVERALL: Cute little spot especially if you go to school at CSUF. Prices are reasonable and not overwhelming especially for the selections they offer.
Like I always say, YOU WON’T KNOW UNLESS YOU TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!

Leaning more towards 3.5 stars. This make-​your-​own ice cream sandwich concept is awesome! Who doesn’t like ice cream with freshly baked cookies? Inside SKŪP has so many flavors and cookie options that it can be a little overwhelming. I went with the Ube (purple yam) and pistachio ice cream, sandwiched with nutella chocolate chip cookies. When they handed it to me, it looked so beautiful and picture perfect, but then I thought how am I going to eat this? Two scoops of ice cream in between two soft cookies. My mouth doesn’t open that wide. I took a bite and ended up eating the rest with a spoon since the cookies started breaking apart and the ice cream was squishing out. Kudos to those who actually ate it like a sandwich! Regardless, the ice cream and cookies were really good!
They also have cones, if you don’t want an ice cream sandwich.

Came here with some pretty high expectations and let me tell you, they were fulfilled just like how my tastebuds and stomach were fulfilled. I definitely suggest the cookie ice cream sandwich, my friend had a brownie one, which was good but the cookies are by far the best.

I’ve been wanting to go here for over a year now! I bookmarked this place and finally got a chance to go here today :) it was a lil confusing getting here but it will be located next to 85 degree bakery.
I was full from eating ramen in the area and decided to get some ice cream with my parents. The two employees greeted us and let us sample ice cream. They give you a discount for being a student in Fullerton ~!
My expectations of this place was right along with tasting it. I got Cookie Monster & ube with the ube waffle cone. The cone obviously went well with the ube ice cream but also the cone itself was not too hard but good to munch on.
My dad was talking to them if they make their ice cream but they actually get it shipped from San Francisco but they make their pastries so try them out!!! We also ended up buying their cookies, the half dozen for $ 6. They’re so moist and chewy. I feel like my mum is going to ask me to go here to buy their cookies again.

Time for the inside scoop on Inside SKUP:
This ice cream shop near CSUF offers all the normal flavors, but there are also some interesting ones like Guiness, plus Asian flavors. The inside is so cheerful and colorful! They don’t have much seating inside, but I wasn’t trying to stay for long because the spot I parked in was a 15 minute green curb. Apparently there’s a parking structure that I didn’t know about, too.
Since I was in a rush, I messed up pretty badly. Don’t be like me.

I DIDN’T realize that they had told me I could order a brownie sandwich (comes with 2 brownies), and then ask to have the second brownie on the side. Instead I paid for a scoop and 1 brownie, which ended up costing pretty much the same price.
However, I DID end up with a Thai Coconut brownie topped with Lychee ice cream and mochi ($ 3.25 + $ 1.75). The first topping is free, so take advantage. I enjoyed my choice, and I tasted several other flavors and liked almost all of them too. One of the worker’s favorite was White Pistachio, so I tried that and I couldn’t say I was a fan… but to each their own. The brownie was extremely soft and delicious, as were the cookies I tried after getting my order. The serving was quite huge, and I have to admit I got a little tired of the flavor/​brownie combo ¾ through, but I kept on trucking.
Prices are pretty standard for an ice cream sandwich (about $ 5). That’s no Diddy Reese price, but I think these taste much better, plus no hard cookies –cough cough-​. SKUP has a good mix of classic flavors and bold, unique ones. You can’t ask for much more when it comes to satisfying your sweet tooth!

Just shaddup and take my money! Yet another ice cream sandwich place, Inside SKUP takes things up a notch with their unique cookie and ice cream flavors, many of which are inspired by Asian ingredients. Ube, Thai coconut, Thai tea, to name a few. There are also brownies and donuts as well. If upon entering you feel overwhelmed by all the different choices (and believe me, you will), don’t fret. There are pieces of cookies to try in the front and the staff is more than happy to let you sample the ice cream.
For $ 5, you can build your own ice cream sandwich. Choose any 2 cookies, the ice cream flavor and your choice of 1 topping. After much deliberation, I decided to go with the ube cookie + thai coconut cookie with thai coconut ice cream and cereal mix. Although they call it thai coconut here, it’s more of a pandan flavor, which tastes like a nice, fragrant combination of coconut and vanilla. The ube cookie didn’t really taste too much like ube and I didn’t really get a strong pandan flavor from the Thai coconut cookie and ice cream either. However, when combined, everything came together deliciously anyways.
The real star of the show was the amazing Thai Coconut Brownie. This dessert was not lacking in flavor or texture. It was soft, dense and filled with real grated coconut in each bite. In fact, it was one of the best pandan desserts I’ve yet to try to this day. If you ever pay a visit here, don’t leave without giving it a try!

So I had been stalking this place on Instagram for some time now and I finally got around to trying it today! After seeing pictures and videos of the delicious cookies and creations I pretty much knew what I wanted and was very pleased with my order. I had the Thai Coconut bar cookie with Thai tea ice cream and Mochis. The cookie bar was soft, chewy, delicious and had coconut flakes throughout. The Thai tea ice cream was just the right sweetness and together with the Mochis I was in sweet heaven.
I will definitely be back to try some new fun creations. You can get cookie and donut ice cream sandwiches as well. Their cookies are freshly baked and they have some yummy flavors. Make sure to check in and get 10% off your order.
Walking in the place appears small but it’s vibrant with the writing on the wall. There are samples of some cookies and bars out for you to try. They also give samples of the ice cream. I saw a spot for complimentary water and with all scoops you get the first topping free. They have very little parking on the street but there is a retail parking structure. The first 30 minutes are free and at the hour they start charging. Since my order was to go I was less than 30 min. but there is validation at some places.

I really wish I could give this place 4 stars, but I think what I got was just too disappointing. I decided to cheat a little on my diet and ordered the donut with ice cream in the middle. With a cheat on your diet, you have to get something good! Since it wasn’t I was more disappointed.
Walking in the place is cute, but small. The girl working was nice. They have samples to try and display the cookies they have for that day. They also have cookie bars and toppings to choose from for your ice cream. They have a good selection of ice creams. I got the nutter flutter bar which tasted like a nutter butter. I actually enjoyed that. The donut I got with cherry chip ice cream in the middle was just not hitting the spot. The donut was hard and didn’t seem sweet. I tried my friends cookie and ice cream and that was better tasting.
I’ll give this place a try again, but will definitely stray from the donut.

It probably would have been better too if I had never been to a place before with customer service.
I was hanging with Aunt Flo and I threw chocolate (chocolate!) in the trash because it wasn’t chocolate.
It was merely a bunch of sugar disguised as chocolate being sold by a scared teenager.
I don’t blame him. I would be scared too if I were at my first job and my boss wanted me to sell piles of crappy sugar disguised as wonderful things.

What a cool place! I’ve never seen this variety of cookie and ice cream flavors in SoCal. The lychee, white pistachio, and Vietnamese coffee ice cream were rockin. I tried the phở, Thai coconut, Nutella, and snicker doodle cookies. Thai coconut was definitely my fav, and it appears to be a house specialty (a must try!). The phở cookie surprisingly does taste like phở… but sweet with a little heat. Interesting! Definitely a place I’d recommend to dessert fiends that want something new and refreshing.

I feel that this place is underrated. They have some really good desserts! They have brownies, donuts, waffle cones, a nice variety of unique ice cream flavors, and cookies. You can pick two different cookies and two different ice creams for your ice cream sandwich if you want, no extra charge!
Highly recommend the iced ube cookie and the lychee ice cream!!! There are actual lychee pieces in the ice cream :)!

Came to Inside Skup thanks to an e-​foodie coupon that let me get an ice cream sandwich for $ 3, which in theory is not bad at all considering they are normally $ 5 – 6.
The options seem endless here, there are so many different combinations that you can make. You could come here and order something different each time, only I probably won’t be back. I went with 2 chocolate chip cookies with Thai tea ice cream in the middle. The Thai tea ice cream it self was awesome, it tasted like a frozen ball of Thai tea, nothing more and nothing less.
The cookies themselves is were it all fell apart, literally. I noticed that they do not heat up their cookies like most other places with the same concept do. Also, something about the cookies was off, it just did not taste right (it could always just be me.) Anyways after eating my sandwich I just did not feel satisfied with it, still cannot figure out what it was, but I am leaning on the cookies.
Perhaps in the future I will come back and pick a new combo, but until then… sorry Inside SKUP, you have a lot of work to catch up to Chunk ‘n Chip.

Killer Ice Cream Sandwiches right near CSU-​Fullerton. Take your pick: Cookie, Brownie, or Doughnut made into an amazing Ice Cream sandwich. A little less busy than some of their competition, but just as good. Parking is a little tricky (they do validate), but the price is right $ 4.

Really decent place! It’s located directly under my apartment complex, so it’s super convenient when you’re having a craving. Also a major plus if you go to Cal State Fullerton, because it’s practically a block away. Depending on the time you go, it can be swarming with college students or completely empty.
They are pretty popular for their ice cream sandwiches. You can get them as either two brownies, two cookies, or mix and match! I love the combination of red velvet cookie/​brownie and a scoop of Chocolate Wasted ice cream! Get the combo for under $ 5 if you show your student ID or check in on Unilocal for 10% off. The staff are really helpful too, and will let you try as many samples as you need before making your selection.

Diddy who?! The famous cookie ice cream sandwich by UCLA has got nothing on Inside Skup. This place has unique delicious flavors AND the cookies stay soft! I ordered the Thai coconut cookies with ube ice cream and it was the most heavenly combination ever! When the worker told us that the Thai coconut cookies were pandan cookies, I was SOLD. He also said the ube ice cream is from the Magnolia Filipino ice cream brand. So of COURSE it’s bomb. They know their stuff! It’s $ 5 for an ice cream cookie sandwich but it’s worth it in my opinion.
You can park in the structure and get your parking ticket validated so you don’t have to pay anything. I would definitely come again, there’s so many flavors I want to try!

My bf loves this place. We get the red velvet cookie with Vietnamese coffee ice cream. Affordable especially with check in discount. They had donuts with ice cream one occasion that we went but it tasted different, not as good as After Ice Cream so were just sticking to the cookie sandwiches. Parking is easy too. Good service.

Came here around 9 PM and there was no wait! They have some cookies like red velvet, Thai coconut, chocolate… And a few others. I saw a Thai coconut bar I think and a donut. Prices are decent, around the same as snow monster or after a. $ 5.50 for ice cream cookie sandwich, $ 3.50 for single scoop of ice cream.
I ordered the single scoop of the cappuccino crunch ice cream and my friend said it tasted like rocky road. I think it needs a stronger coffee flavor, but it was still very good.
I should have tried their Thai tea ice cream, but didn’t. Maybe next time I’ll get that.
There are about 5 tables inside but it was so empty we didn’t eat our ice cream there. The workers were super friendly and allowed us to sample whatever flavored we wanted.

Located conveniently near CSUF, Inside Skūp is a cute place for a quick sweet treat but not on the same level of quality as Afters or Dripp (ice cream-​wise). It is mediocre at best in regards to their baked goods aside from the the green coconut cookie. The captain crunch cookie was soggy and their brownie was too rich/​soft and a bit disappointing.
The ice cream however is your standard ice cream similar to Baskin Robbins with a few more interesting flavors.
The staff is friendly, very helpful, and patient with their customers. They also give suggestions for those indecisive sweet tooth’s. I might be back for the ice cream but I’ll pass on the baked goods.

1. What is it like inside?
The shop is rather small with minimal seating. Luckily, we were the only patrons when we visited, but I can imagine that it would feel quite cramped with flocks of students crowding Inside Skup to satisfy their dessert cravings.
2. What kind of dessert do they sell?
Inisde Skup offers a myriad of baked goods and ice cream flavors, both traditional and with an Asian flair. The ice cream is sourced from Double Rainbow in San Francisco. Some flavors that were available upon our visit included chocolate wasted, cookies and crème, ube, thai tea, white pistachio, and lychee. Different cone flavors are also offered including ube and red velvet. We didn’t order any cookies or brownies, but we tried a few samples that were available at the counter (red velvet, snickerdoodle, Thai coconut)
3. How does Inside Skup compare to other ice cream sandwich shops?
Skup’s ice creams are decent, but nothing to write home about. The cookies were unique, and we found them to be very moist and not overly sweet. Overall, I think this place trumps Stax by UCI, where the cookies tend to be inconsistent, and is on par with CREAM.
After seeing Inside Skup all over Instagram, we were glad to finally try this place, but we likely won’t be returning.

Looking at the pictures and reviews I was expecting this place to be quite exceptional but was disappointed. I almost wanted to give two stars but I think that would be too extreme. The concept and flavors offered at this place seem quite unique but they just didn’t deliver. It’s basically a place where you can get ice cream sandwiches, whether it’s between cookies, brownies, donuts, or some combination of each. You can also purchase each item by itself as well.
I saw lot of reviews and pictures regarding the Thai Tea ice cream and Thai Coconut cookie so I got an ice cream sandwich with both of these ingredients. The Thai Tea flavor was very weak and it’s not because the ice cream was frozen rock hard. I actually let it melt down a bit because I wanted to give a fair taste test. That didn’t help much. I had shaved snow with Thai tea flavor that was stronger than this. The Thai Coconut cookie didn’t taste much better. I could barely taste any coconut. It just tasted like flour and sugar. I also tried a sample of the Ube ice cream which was even more faint. Ube in general doesn’t have a strong flavor so I don’t think it’s entirely their fault. Ube looks more interesting than it tastes due to its bright purple color.
At the time of my visit there were several different types of cookies, including Sugar, Thai Coconut, Snickerdoodle, Triple Chocolate, Pumpkin Spice Oreo, Red Velvet, Cap’n Crunch Peanut Butter, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, and Iced Ube. Ice cream flavors were Rocky Road, Vietnamese Coffee, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, French Vanilla, Ube, Thai Tea, Chocolate Wasted, Match Green Tea, Pumpkin Pie, Lychee, Cherry Chip (soy based), and few others.
I might have to give this place another try, but given I tried the most popular flavor and was left disappointed, I am not feeling a strong conviction to return.

Efoodie hooked it up, but I still would’ve tried it without the freebie. Their thai coconut cookie is dangerously yummy. I definitely recommend!

Second time was a charm! Instead of coming in the late evening, I came in around 4 PM instead, and the cookies were significantly softer than the last time and they weren’t running out of cookies and brownies left and right.
They had my favorite ice cream flavor, Rocky Road, available this time around also, so naturally I ordered that sandwiched between a chocolate walnut brownie (because I LOVE ice cream and brownies!) and their featured cookie, Iced Ube. The cookie was deliciously soft and had a hint of ube. I loved it! Even as just a regular cookie. My ice cream sandwich was yummy, but again, the ice cream to cookie ratio was a bit low. I think a little more ice cream was needed for cookies of their size.
Service was ok. This time I wasn’t offered samples like last time despite being the only person in the store at the time, and the staff member chick didn’t seem all that helpful. It wasn’t busy the day I came in, probably because the kids were out for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. It doesn’t look like they do cookie samples anymore either.
For $ 5 an ice cream sandwich I prefer other ice cream sandwich/​donut shops over Inside Skup, but this is also a very good alternative, especially since parking is easy However, this their 10% Unilocal Check-​In, you can’t go wrong with this place!
Credit cards are accepted and parking is free out front or in the structure with validation.

I went with an ice cream cookie sandwich on peanut butter captain crunch cookies and ube ice cream, SO good!
The cookies very fresh, they had several out to sample and I enjoyed each one, notable also the chocolate chip potato chip.
My son had a donut filled with cookies and cream ice cream and I have to say their donuts are so much better than the milky buns at After’s! \
Warm, soft, they remind me of a donut type pasty I enjoyed in Germany, that alone was worth coming back for!
Service is excellent, high quality you can taste.
Prices are a bit high, but given all the unique offerings they have and just how good it is, I’ll be back!

Stopped by right before closing and was pleasantly surprised to find some great ice cream and cookies. When I saw this spot open, I thought another ice cream sandwich spot?! But since I have the biggest sweet tooth, I thought I’d try it.
There wasn’t any cookie samples, which made it kind of hard to choose. But the Thai coconut and Cookie Monster definitely stood out. I tried a few samples of their ice cream and settle on the hazelnut latte… soo good! I deconstructed my ice cream sandwich so I could enjoy my cookies and ice cream separately. The cookies were amazing! Soft and full of flavor!
If you’re in the area, it’s a great spot for dessert!

So this is probably our 1000^th time to Inside Skup since Grand Opening. It is one of the BEST if not THE BEST ice cream place we’ve come to.
I love their coconut flavor, but I was sad that they didn’t have it today cause that’s what I wanted. However, I tried a different flavor, which is the white pistachio. Although it’s not the flavor I wanted, it was just as good. Especially having it with their coconut flavored cookie.
There’s wide selections of unique exotic flavors to choose from. Such as Vietnamese Coffee, Lychee flavors, etc. If you are a sucker for ice creams like me, you will really enjoy Inside Skup.
I can seriously come here for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Told you, I am a sucker for ice creams. Especially at a place this yummy!

This place is located next to 85 degree in Fullerton. It’s small like a regular ice cream shop. It’s clean and the employees were nice but weren’t very engaging.
We had brownie sandwhich with ube ice cream. The brownie was really delicious! The brownie sandwhich is the best idea ever! They also have different kinds of brownies! And they give you two full sized brownies and a full scoop of ice cream for under $ 6 I think that’s a pretty good value.
I’m Filipino so I’m familiar with ube ice cream which is also known as taro. It was bland for me. The halo-​halo ice cream was also not very flavorful that’s why I’m giving this place 4 stars.

Usually it’s TMZ that has the INSIDE SKUP but this time I have the INSIDE SKUP!
With my side kick the mom-​in-​ator in tow we headed out to try this place out. She is always such a sport when I comes to trying new places. Neither of us are huge let’s go get sweets to eat people but we both wanted to try this place out. The thing that caught my eye was that it was new, near a college and there was NO LONG AZZ line a mile long to get in the place. That for me is a win-​win sit-​chee-​ation. The mom-​in-​ator was just glad I was being her personal chauffer and treated.
This place is located under an apartment building along with other restaurants. More and more I see this type of all inclusive type living. So convenient to have several places to eat so close and you don’t need to really leave home. You need to park in the parking garage but the restaurants validate so you won’t have to pay if you don’t over stay your welcome. hahah!
I walk in and I was greeted right away with a warm HELLO. I perused the menu to see what I wanted and saw they had some different flavors aside from the traditional so that piqued my interest. They also had out a tray of samples for the different cookies that they had for you to make a I scream for Ice cream sand with. I LOVED THAT. So many times when you get cookies YOU THINK will be tasty and it hard as a Dog gone ROCK and taste like… well I’ll give you the PG version and just say it’s not good and it’s dry.
I decided to get us a couple things to try and went with the non-​glazed donut with strawberry I scream for ice cream inside. Then I also got a ice cream sand with Thai tea I scream for ice cream inside and for the cookies I went with a snicker doodle cookie and a Thai coconut cookie.
Lick-​a-​dee-​split my order was up and ret-​to-​go. It was a hot day so I walked back to my car turned on the AC and the mom-​in-​ator and I proceeded to chow down on our desserts. Both were really good. The Thai tea I scream for ice cream could have had more of a Thai tea flavor but it was good. The cookies were SUPER soft which is ALWAYS a PLUS in my book. The donut was YUMMY. Soft and fresh. I’m not a big strawberry fan but I do have to say it was PRETTY GOOD! Very strawberry and it had smiggy-​bits of strawberry in it which was GOOD TOO.
Over all I REALLY ENJOYED this place. The portion sizes were GI-​NORMOUS so after a few bits we couldn’t finish either of them and we still needed to eat dinner. Sadly ice cream really doesn’t keep well and it was a hot day so in the el trash-​o bin-​o it went.
It pays to have the INSIDE SKUP!
