Amelia Lyon

Soooooo I can’t believe I never reviewed Ameilia before. We had Ameilia as our wedding photographer in 2009, we hired her in 2007! We had been eyeing her work for a few years and couldn’t wait to book her. We absolutely knew that there were two things that mattered to us the most at our wedding, food and photos. People talk about the food and you only remember everything by the photos!
Amelia is the nicest person. Pricing was a little higher than the rest, but you get the best with Amelia. As part of our package she did our engagement photos as well. She then printed those in a book and that was our guest sign in book at the wedding. During the wedding it was her and her husband Justin who did all the pictures.
After the wedding we got DVD’s (remember those?) of our pictures along with three photo books: a large one for us and two smaller ones for the parents of both. Her creativity with framing, lighting and natural elements does not stop when she leaves the wedding. All photos are taken through her magic formula on the computer.
She is the best. You REALLY get what you pay for! =) WE love our photos! There are lots of other photographers that do similar styles, I mean, there are just so many good photographers out there now. But Amelia is the benchmark in our eyes!

We worked with Amelia on a wedding at the Carondelet House on Feb 1^st 2014 and we LOVED working with her. The couple had a great time shooting with her, and there wasn’t any awkwardness which the bride was particularly nervous about. Amelia is a very talented photographer, and she is extremely good at shooting the details of the wedding day. She captured every beautiful moment of the day and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to work with.

We hired Amelia Lyon for both our Engagement Session and Wedding on 9÷21÷13 and we couldn’t be happier. We would have been happy with one «Money Shot» but Amelia was able to capture multiple «Money Shots» that every couple is looking for. Amelia was very upbeat and friendly and made us feel comfortable. Amelia has an eye for photography and is very creative in any condition. We had to change locations for our engagement session last minute since we did not have a permit and Amelia made a parking lot photo session look AMAZING!
