I was able to schedule an appointment within three days of calling and they were even able to fit me in a few hours early when I happened to be in the area (over hour long wait). I like the flexibility of them offering walk-​in or appointments, but remember to bring a book if your a walk-​in! The staff was friendly and the doc is AMAZING and super-​thorough. I will definitely keep coming back.
They offer «digital imaging,» which is not covered by insurance, for $ 29 ($ 19 every year after). I asked if the images are included in my patient files when I change duty stations. I was told they are not released or included if you request copies of your medical file from them unless you want to pay $ 92.00, however another eye doc can request them. I asked if they charge the new doc a fee for releasing them and I was told «not usually.» Hmmmm… I already paid the $ 29.00 fee for the digital imaging BEFORE I asked these questions and now regret it, because I do not own the images. I requested my money back for the $ 29 fee and had no issues.

Everyone was so super friendly and professional. It was a thorough and time effective exam and they matched me to the perfect contacts.

I have been going to Risk for a few year or so now and this includes my family. The doc is very attentive your needs and fully understands some of the unusual needs of those that work with the military. Today they saw both my wife and myself. My wife was extremely pleased with the service as was I. I actually was seen earlier in the week but needed to have the prescription for my contacts adjusted. I was told that it was no issue and was scheduled for an appointment for the next day. I had a specific need and the new script is just what was needed. Still going to use the contacts for a week or so to make sure no further adjustment is needed. I would highly recommend them to friends, family and anyone looking for excellent service.
