Jessica Tormoehlen is the freakin bomb! I am so picky when it comes to hair and I have loved mine ever since I started seeing her. She is a miracle worker! About 2 years ago I was desperately searching for someone to fix my horrible color and hack job of a hair cut. Jessica was able to squeeze me in and I’ve never looked back! Not only does she always know what I want, not only does my hair look gorgeous each and every time but now my hair is SO healthy! I always get tons of compliments on my hair. My daughter sees her now and even my mom from out of town sees her. You will not be disappointed! I see her for cuts, color, the occasional blowout and now my life changing Brazilian blowout.

I had a hair cut there and I can’t say more than it was my worst hair cut ever! I showed the stylist two pictures of short wavy hair and I ended up having a very short hair that doesn’t match my hair nature (it’s very thick, wavy and poofy) and she shouldn’t have cut it VERY short like that! I ended up looking like a lion every time I was my hair and I called the salon and went back to her and she said there’s nothing we can do about it because my hair is frizzy and if we did anything for it’ll be worse. (I know she gave me honest advice) but ma’am u shouldn’t have cut it that short if it doesn’t match a frizzy hair ! Especially that the pictures I showed her wasn’t that short !
And what’s really annoying is that I had a short haircut before at the same salon but different stylist and was really perfect. Anyway I couldn’t be more disappointed for feeling bad every time I look in the mirror and see my hair like that. I’ll definitely never come back again.

I came in feeling unsure and left feeling brand new. I love what Sam did with my color, highlights and cut. I moved from San Diego, CA and recently separated from my husband and and I needed a new hair style to go with my new life here in Texas. The price was also reasonable for all the work she put into my hair. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Jessica is an amazing stylist! I’ve been going to her for two years now and won’t change even though I have to commute up from Dallas now for appts. It’s hard to find someone to cut short hair so well. People compliment me on my haircut from the time I get the cut all the way up to the next appt! Jessica always listens to what I want and guides me to something even better than I could imagine. She is great at cut, color, highlights, and style for special events. I’d recommend her to anyone!

Katie did an AMAZING job. My hair was a mess when we started with remnants of old color and an old perm. She did highlights/​lowlights, cut, and Brazilian blowout and it is beautiful. My appointment was also last minute but they had no problem accommodating me. Will definitely be back

Keri is awesome with hair color. Mine was a complete disaster and she fixed pretty quickly.

Rachel is a hair goddess! over the last 3 years she has taken my hair to a whole new level with healthy beautiful hair! I love this salon so much and recommend it to everyone!

Love this salon. It’s hip but not where you feel out of place. Katie is awesome… just had my first Brazilian blowout… will definitely be doing that again…

I’ve been going to the salon for about a year now. I am usually there every 10 – 12 weeks to get my hair done. I go in for highlights, cut and style.
Houston is my stylist and I couldn’t be more happy with her. I switched to Houston after needing a change from my heavily contrasting highlight/​lowlight experience from my old stylist of 8 years. Houston was able to correct those things and gave me exactly what I was looking for. She does an amazing job! My hair looks better and is healthier than it has been in many years.
I am always greeted nicely when walking into the salon and offered a beverage. They have amazing lounge chairs at the shampoo bowls. They sell Oribe and R+Co products in the salon.

I am so disappointed with my visit to this salon. I almost didnt write a review as I didnt want to have to re-​live my experience. But when I look in the mirror everyday, I am so angry at what happened to my hair that I thought maybe writing a review would end up helping somehow. I gave 1 star because the girl who did my hair was very nice. But, thats the only positive. I wish I could copy and paste a previous review I just read because it was basically my experience as well. I went in for a highlight and cut. I brought about 12 photos on my Ipad so it would be easy to see what look i was going for. I was so disappointed to see that when all was done, my hair looked more like it had been colored, and not highlighted. It was also brown, pretty much like muddy water. It was so dark. I was told to wait a few days and if it didnt lighten up enough to my liking, i could come back for free for a few highlights. Well, I went back. This is where it got REALLY bad. Policy is for the owner, Matthew, to come and talk to me and get a feel for what went wrong. He knelt next to my chair with his Iphone out, open to a bunch of womens photos, mostly Jenn Aniston. So as we scrolled through photos, he would explain to me that these photos were ’ what I had’. Ummmm… I think not. All these women had beautiful blond highlights. This went on and on. Now there is another stylist behind us and another one in front, all eyes on me. Finally, after what felt like such badgering, I told Matthew I was getting upset and that I felt like leaving. I have never had an experience like this. Honestly, I was almost in tears. I felt like he was trying to prove to me that I was wrong, basically the brown, muddy water colored hair in the mirror you see is really like the blond in Jenn Anistons hair in all of the 20 pics he showed me. I cant even write this well enough to convey how I was treated. My stylist DID apologize for him, to which I thanked her and applauded her ability to know how to talk to people. I actually also told her that I didnt want him to talk to me again or to come near me. So my treatment from Matthew Dillard was horrendous and pretty traumatic but unfortunately, my hair has never looked worse. It still is brown, which is really disturbing, but I am actually starting to be more upset about the cut. You know its bad when it doesnt look good down, in a ponytail, or even in a baseball hat. I have shown friends pieces of my hair, and how it is cut, like long here and chopped short there. I have no idea what she did to my hair. Made an appointment somewhere else this week, hoping my hair can be salvaged. And oh yeah, with tip $ 262.00…wow. Very, very disappointed. Matthew may be an ‘artist’ but that doesnt matter much when you dont know how to treat people, especially high paying customers. This salon is highly overrated.

Mona. is. AWESOME! She is so down to earth, patient, knows exactly the look you have in mind, is a master of colors, and gives your hair that GLAM, exceeding your expectations. Just look at my pictures below. I went from a ratty Pikachu look with a dire need of a hair cut, to a sexy brunette with a reddish balayage finish. She made my hair look healthy again and sealed it with a glossy semi-​permanent and split end treatment. I spent a bit of money, but believe me it was well worth it, and I’ve been to a ton of places. My mother also used to be a hair dresser way back when and is SUPER picky with her hair and has had endless let-​down experiences with other hairstylists. So I flew her from Houston to Dallas and introduced her to Mona. My mother could not stop talking about how great she is and how she’s FINALLY happy with her hair, so I’m happy. Mona may be moving to another location soon, but I did observe other hairstylists while there. I did not see one «meh» hair outcome. Everyone had consistently the freshest, coolest hair that I saw walk out of this salon. So I am pretty confident everyone else is pretty awesome too.

Just moved to the area and needed a Brazilian blowout asap!!! My hair is long, thick and super frizzy. Very impressed with the work Katy did on my hair, she was super friendly and took her time.
I also loved how chic the salon looks! ;)

My stylist was Kerri. She did an amazing job! I will never again allow anybody to touch my hair unless it is her. She did a fabulous job on the color, style and cut. She took her time with the entire process and did an awesome job in teaching me how to style and blow dry. She’s also super sweet and very patient. I highly recommend her.

Jessica is great! Salon is beautiful and they use wonderful products including Oribe, R & Co and Smith & Cult. Love it!

Be prepared to shell out the big bucks. Cuts around $ 75. Blow outs around $ 40, and color in the triple digits, BUT they’re so damn good! The service, the quality, the attentiveness, you can’t beat it. I went based on Unilocal reviews and have since been going back and they turned my hair that was once a dry, discolored mop to some seriously awesome locks. My stylist is Mona and I fear I’ve let the best kept secret out. She’s genius. Go on pay day and walk out strutting. Or just ask your husband for money. Trust me, he won’t complain.

Being new to the area I did my research for over a week and narrowed it down to two salons based on the overall reviews for both. Because this salon was able to get me in sooner, I went with this one. However, I’m now regretting that decision. It has been about 6 weeks since my appointment and I still wake up every day frustrated with my hair. Contrary to what the manager said, I have not received one compliment on my color or my cut.
There were several aspects of my visit that left me feeling very sour about my experience. 1.) I spent 5 hours at my appointment which is absurd. I was placed with a new stylist, which is my fault for not speaking up, she was very inexperienced and the manager had to continually assist which contributed to the amount of time the appointment took. 2.) Most of this time was spent laying at the shampoo bowl as my hair was worked on. Not the most comfortable position to be in for well over an hour, almost two hours. I was also told nothing about what was going on. 3.) The stylist (not the manager) was extremely sloppy, when first applying the color in the chair, I got color on my face 3 to 4 times as she was just throwing my hair around as she applied it. Additionally when I was at the shampoo bowl, something (because I wasn’t told what it was) was applied to my hair that stung my entire head and because she applied it so sloppy it was on my cheek and down my neck and it left red marks that took several hours to fade. 4.) My haircut was the worst cut I have ever received. It was cut straight across the bottom, no texture was given and it was uneven. The manager did come over to assist but ultimately the overall cut was terrible and for being in a salon for 5 hours, I left with absolutely no style.
I went in as a blonde and I asked for highlight/​lowlight and I left as brunette with very few highlights. I was sold on a base bump process which is something I did not want but was ultimately talked into because I felt they knew what they were doing, they are the professionals, and they will make me look good when I leave. Once my hair was dry I voiced my concerns and that I was displeased with how dark my hair was. The manager did come over and speak to me and try to sell me on coming back, that the next time would be better and look closer to what I wanted, etc. However, after paying $ 250 dollars, I didn’t think I should have to leave with a hair style/​color I absolutely hated and live with it for several weeks until I could afford to get it done again. Also, since my visit my hair has been very frizzy. I blow dry with a round brush as I always have and have never had this problem which I assume is from the color used or whatever other product was put in my hair that made the stinging sensation. Basically, for $ 250 dollars I have frizzy dark hair with a very unflattering haircut.
The one positive thing (which is why this was given one star) was the salon was very clean and nice. I’m sure the manager may have extensive experience/​training and the other tenured stylists may as well but the experience with my stylist was very disappointing for the amount of money I paid. I could not recommend this salon to anyone after what I experienced. Nor would I go back and pay more money to possibly leave disappointed again. Very disappointed…

I had the pleasure to meet and have my hair done by Estevan! I told him to be creative and he did an amazing job with the cut and color. He gave me great hair tips and he gives off really positive vibes! Can’t wait for my next hair therapy day!!!

I saw Laura and she is very nice n sweet… but I am taking away a star bc she called my hair coarse the last time I was there. I think that’s a very rude thing to say! I don’t like that word, she could’ve said thick… that would’ve been ok bc I do have thick hair.
I have found another salon, that is closer to where I live that got really good reviews that I’m going to next wk.

I’m not sure why, but since moving to Texas I have had the hardest time finding a hair salon that can do my hair. I’ve lived here for almost 2 years and have been to 7 different salons around Frisco/​Dallas. I read lots of reviews on Unilocal and picked good, high-​end salons. But for some reason every time I got highlights/​lowlights they would come out an unflattering brassy/​orange-​ish tone. I even tried to go from the heavily highlighted blond I have always been to my natural level ⁶⁄₇ ash brown. After one wash the brown would turn orange hued. I can’t even count how many times I was told that it must be the water here, or that maybe my hair structure was changing.
I thought since every salon I had been to had produced basically the same results that I was doomed to be a brassy orange hued color. This last time when it was time to color my hair I went to Unilocal again and started researching salons that specialized in corrective color. After reading the reviews I booked my appointment at Salon Di Lusso.
On the day of my appointment I went in and was greeted by my stylist Laura Oliver. I showed her my hair and told her the issues I was having with the brassy orange tones. What impressed me was that she listened to me and assured me they could fix it. Then she brought over the owner, Matthew, and he spent about 10 minutes going through my hair and recommending what glazes to use to correct the color. I really, really appreciate a stylist that is not afraid to consult with other stylists about the best way to color or correct color.
In the end Laura ended up having to use four different glazes on my hair in order to correct the color and get the orange tones out. And Matthew stopped by several times during my visit to look at my hair and see how I was doing. I also appreciated that he was honest and told me that I wasn’t going to be the color I wanted on the first visit, that it would take another visit or two to get me to the look I wanted, because if we went too fast it would really damage my hair.
I LOVE my hair now! And I can honestly say that I have finally found my salon here in Texas!
Everyone at the salon is very nice and courteous. Looking around you can definitely tell that they are all masters of the trade. They all know hair and really enjoy creating fabulous looks that flatter you.

I always had healthy hair but I experimented with box hair dyes for the past 2 years. I successfully colored my untouched hair with a light brown color and then retouched it every time roots would start to show. Then I made a huge mistake by dyeing it to black again and I had a hard time going back to brown again. I experimented with chemicals to remove the layers of dyes on my hair and it resulted to the left upper hand pic you see on my upload. The ends of my hair is damaged and I have had enough. My mom has been cutting my hair for the past 3 years, it does keep my hair short but there is no styling involved. I let her cut it because I was afraid to let anybody else cut my hair due to past experience.
I came across Lauren Lane’s page on Facebook (Luxury by Lauren Lane) and I was amazed by the before and after pictures. I decided to send her a message and she promptly replied to each one of them. I called the salon to book an appointment with her and immediately got a time set up for me. I came in and I was instantly greeted by Lauren as if she knew exactly that I was her client. Everybody was so friendly!
Lauren was very nice and she cut and colored my hair pretty great! My ends look healthier and the color became even and it looked like I had highlights and a bit of an ombré! Throughout the process, Lauren gave me tips and tricks to care for my hair. I’m a very shy person and I barely talk but Lauren was very engaging and never made me feel left out. I left the salon happy! I got home and my boyfriend, who RARELY notices details, noticed my hair looking healthier and the color looking even. I was shocked.
Everybody goes to Mona and Rachel but seeing the before and after pictures, I was most drawn to Lauren’s work, and I did not regret having her handle my hair. She’s awesome! This is my first review EVER and I just had to give it to Lauren.
