They used acetone to clean my powder coated wheel and ruined the finish. Set my project back 3 weeks and refused to pay for the stripping and re-​application of the powder coat. They said they commonly use acetone to clean powder coated parts and it won’t ruin the finish.
Between stripping the wheel, re-​powder coating, and new bearings I was out 200 and the best they could do was pay me 70, after originally offering me 50.
Everyone makes mistakes but you can tell the character of a business by the way they handle them.
