Starbucks

Thanks Starbucks for offering to steam my soy milk! The Bakersfield Starbucks have never offered that. My trip here for work is now worthwhile mmmmm Starbucks!

Eh. this Starbucks is located on Shields between Blackstone and Fresno and it’s just okay. Not that any of the many Starbucks are absolutely spectacular, but certain ones will have something special that make you want to make it your usual spot.
I have visited this spot numerous times, and not much has changed in the past ten years. I came in the late morning and the place was packed! There was no where to sit. When I placed my order, the lady that helped me never asked my name for the cup, but when I checked my receipt, she did type it up, but incorrectly. Lol, she took it straight from my badge and completely misspelled it. When my coffee was ready the guy called out «white mocha and water», so I guess he couldn’t read this weird, made up name.
Really, the name is no big deal, just kind of funny. But, importantly, I do commend the quick service, and my white mocha coffee tasted better than I had anticipated. I just wish there was a place to sit and relax during my break.

Poor customer service. OF COURSE THIS ISN’T MY REGULAR STARBUCKS THAT I GO TO. Girl was trying to charge me extra for soy when I spoke with Starbucks customer service (prior) that they’re not suppose to charge extra for soy especially when ordering expresso shots.

I’m so disappointed with my order. The Employees were too busy laughing and chatting it up instead of listening to what I’m ordering. I ordered a Venti Green Tea frappé Blended with Java Chips and Carmel on top. But instead of listening and taking care of their customers I got a Tall with my java chips on top instead of blended. This to me shows bad customer service. I will not return to this Starbucks. Sincerely, Starbucks Gold Member.

10:40am and the guy at the drive thru (without opening his cash drawer) says he can’t give change. Needless to say, he’s probably drinking the the drink I ordered. Starbucks on Shields next to the 41 freeway.

I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt but they have screwed up 4 times in a row. They have made the wrong drink, forgot my drink twice and given me a sticky drink.

Worst service ever! And I tipped! Just ordered a tall coffee and they never made it! When I asked about it they were rude and didn’t even apologize about it! Never going back again!

Great experience everytime especially using my Starbucks card. Everyone is so friendly here in the morning or anytime of the day

I like this Starbucks. It’s down the street from my house, so I go here most often. The employees are friendly. I just wish there was more seating.
I have few complaints. Just watch out in the drive through, there always seems to be someone walking across the end of the drive through lane– and you may get cussed out.

This store is one of the few where they get my drink right every time. They’ve also been helpful when I want to try something new and I’m not sure what to try.

Oh geez, I totally forgot about this one… The best Starbucks there is! The manager on duty (I think) was so very friendly and courteous you would have thought you are at a 5 star restaurant, not a coffee shop.
All I got was a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich combo but she’s the one that told me that the combo deal was a good deal AND I would get a discount on another purchase in the afternoon.
I still remember the experience after two frickin’ years… that’s how awesome these people were ;)

next to the freeway so super convenient. It’s okay if you’re in a hurry, since it’s a drive through. But the coffee taste like burnt coffee beans with way to much sugar. I’m giving it 3 stars for the service, and the location.

I always get great service in the drive-​thru and it’s relatively fast. It’s great to have a drive thru right be the freeway.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tired of the sales pitch at the drive thru window, its annoying and rude. I can read the menu, if i wanted something i would order it. What i dont get is why dont they tru to pull that crap inside when you order at the counter. anyway, products are what can you say, starbucks consistancy, but the service is overbearing sometimes.

The service is always nice, like you’d expect. However, everytime I stop by, they mess up my drink. I always drink the green tea frap and it’s never consistent at this location :(

Very convenient… next to the freeway. They also have a drive-​thru which I like. Free wireless Internet with a Starbucks card. I stumble upon this location by accident after leaving the Centerpoint Athletic Club. This location is good for people watching and it’s always busy. They have tables outside too so people could enjoy the beautiful weather and getting some sun. Good and friendly service… inside is clean and nicely decorated.
This location is not good for studying though because it’s loud but you could definitely do some work. I would make this my regular hang out if I was living here.

I use to come to this place many times while I was living at home with the parentals. This would actually be our ‘hang out’ spot because 1. it was right next to the freeway, 2. it was right next to the movie theater, 3. it was close to my house lol. yea yea, I don’t like to go tooo far for coffee, especially coffee that’s overpriced.
Somehow, coming back here for a visit with a friend over Thanksgiving break. the place feels small. Maybe I’m used to the big ones down south, I’m not sure. I guess everything is small compared to a big city right? Anyways, since this place is right next to the movies it is packed with people of all ages; young, old, well. lets just say this place attracts lots of teenagers, the rowdy ones. So it is kind of hard to have a conversation when the place is noisy.
But I like coming here for some reason and I always end up having long conversations with friends to catch up on life. yay! for starbucks for giving me a place to do that. Plus they also have yummy drinks. Not an ideal place to study though, thats for sure.
The service was great though, fast and friendly. I’m not sure if they’re starting to do this at every starbucks, cause I haven’t been asked this before at my last visits, but she told me that if my drink wasn’t to my liking, I can ask her to do another one … sweeet.
