I am comfortable that when I take my car to Snapp’s that it will be thoroughly reviewed, considered, repaired with excesses avoided and that it will be ready as promised. No frills with regards to a waiting room or post-​service car wash. Here you are provided the services that you actually need, with integrity.

These guys are super legit! U-​Bolts in my rv broke and axle slid my tires into the wheel well so I called up Snapps after reading reviews. The owner talked to me on the phone and said yes they can fix everything but would have to have the part ordered through another service which could take a little time. So the owner suggested that I had my rv towed to the shop where he would have gotten the part from to cut him out (the middle man) so I could save money and time. Called up the shop he suggested and am surprised at how low the cost will be. Super happy right now. All I can say is from this experience Snapps seems honorable and humble unlike many other shops that are just after the $$.

Excellent customer service! I stopped in without an appointment and the problem was diagnosed the same day– super quick! The total cost was very reasonable and I will definitely be back whenever repairs are needed and any of my family’s cars.

I originally took my Toyota Tacoma to Michaels Automotive. The dealership said that we had an oil leak and quoted me $ 1643.87. They said there was no way to tell where the oil was coming from and they needed to replace the valve cover gaskets, rear main seal, and the oil pan gasket.
Snapp’s said he would take a look, and they found that the oil filter was mis threaded. He changed the oil and filter, and the leak was fixed. He saved me $ 1573.87. Nice to know that there are still some honest machanics around, especially to females. If you are looking for a good, honest service center, Snapp’s is the place for you!

Took my Honda Odyssey in for a new transmission based on a recommendation from a friend from church. Dealership was going to take me to the cleaners. Doug provided a great option at a fair price. Minivan is running better than it ever has! Couldn’t be happier! Thought I was going to have to «$$ for clunker» it and now it runs like new! Provided friendly shuttle service for my family while I was at work. Doug and his staff give EXCELLENT customer service and makes sure his mechanics get the latest training. I will be taking my cars to Doug for all my service needs.

I and my Family have been using their service for years. Five different vehicles. I have always found them fair and the best priced for what you get. Doug Snapp the owner is honest, fair and very thorough. If he suggests work which should be done then it should be done. His employees are as honest as Doug. He won’t have it any other way. If Doug does find something needing repair he shows it to you and explains the severity. I have been to dealers and found they are interested in your money. Doug is interested in giving the best service possible. I recommend them the highest.

i went here for an oil change because of a Unilocal review. the owner doug was friendly and helpful. their oil change is not just an oil change, so if you want something simple and cheap, this isn’t the best place. they did let me know ahead of time, which was good. it was around $ 45 but they check everything that could go wrong with your car, and he saw a couple problems i wasn’t aware of. he printed estimates of the repairs suggested and costs. the prices seemed a little high, so i called around and ended up getting the repairs done other places because Snapp’s was a little more. I would say the prices are mid-​range. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive that I found. But they are friendly, and I confirmed that they’re honest because the repairs suggested were indeed needed when I got them repaired at other places.

Doug Snapp provides probably the best automotive service in Fresno. My husband and I have taken our cars to him for over 20 years. He takes very good care of them, and like a good physician, he is willing to suggest a specialist for a second opinion on certain procedures. He no longer does smog checks as the equipment just got too darn expensive, but he can get your car ready for the test. Sort of like a SAT prep course for autos. His rates are very reasonable and fair, and he makes appointments which he keeps. No fancy waiting room, though, so be prepared to stand on cold or hot concrete waiting for your car,.
