History

Established in 1984.

InSight Vision Center actually began as Lawrence Eye Associates in 1974 at its current address, 1360 E. Hernon Ave Suite 201 Fresno, CA 93 720, inside of the California Eye Institute. Dr. Larry Lawrence had Dr. Eric Poulsen join his practice in 2001 and when Dr. Lawrence retired in 2011 the practice was renamed InSight Vision Center.

Since then we have continued to grow, adding a second office 7025 N. Chestnut Ave Suite 103 Fresno, CA 93 720 when Dr. Azhar Salahuddin joined the practice in April of 2012.

Business Owner

Dr. Eric J. Poulsen is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He did his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT and then went to Medical School at University of California-​Davis School of Medicine in Davis, CA. Dr. Poulsen completed his residency at Duke University medical Center in Durham, NC.

Dr. Poulsen is a member of several professional organizations including: The American Medical Association, The American Academy of Ophthalmology, The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and The Fresno-​Madera Medical Society

Dr. Poulsen specializes in Cataract and Refractive Surgery and has done numerous LASIK and PRK procedures.
