I recently told the office how upset I was with the outcome and the dr’s services and the response was oh ok. This office and the dr can literally care less. I guess that’s what you get from a work comp plastic surgeon for hands and wrists and who makes their bucks doing other procedures. I would have been better off letting a regular dermatologist do the services! Again, I beg u, do not go here to this doctor. Stay away!

Dr. Han has been great! He listens and has taken his time with me. Most professional and personable. Unbelievable detail. Surgery on hand left no scar.

Dr. Han performed carpel tunnel surgery on my right hand on December 21, 2015. I chose Dr. Han because I had talked to friends who had him do their successful surgeries. I also had talked to a professional who informed me that he was considered the best in his field. I want to let you know my experience so it may relieve any apprehension you may have. I had NO pain at all after the surgery. I have no pain now and just had my follow up appointment yesterday at Dr. Han’s office. He also removed a cyst from my right index finger. I am all smiles since I had suffered for many years with my hand and arm going numb. Now, I no longer need to wear carpel tunnel brace to sleep at night:). I am scheduled to go back to work on January 23^rd. Dr. Han wants to see me back on February 16 to make sure my atrophy is improving and my strength is back:). I had surgery for trigger finger with Dr. Han. He is the most compassionate and understanding doctor I have ever met. My surgery went extremely well, down time was minimal and hand no longer hurts as before. This is the second surgery I have had with Dr. Han. He and his staff are the best.

THE STAFF
Extremely rude and lacking compassion. They take 2-​hour lunches but don’t bother mentioning this when they tell you to «stop by» the office to pick up paperwork.
The person at the front desk is transparent. She is very aggressive and defensive to compensate for her incompetence and lack of education. The paperwork she filled out had several elementary school-​level spelling errors.
The injury required me to be off work for several months, so i asked them to fill out two one-​sided 8.5×11 forms. Standard for this type of thing. They charged me $ 20 per form. PER FORM. That is ridiculous.
THE DOCTOR
Intake appointment: less than 30 seconds.
Follow-​up appointment: less than 30 seconds.
2^nd follow-​up appointment: less than 30 seconds.
In one of the appointments, after his 15-​second explanation of what is going on, I told him I have a question. His response was «follow me and ask me while I’m walking to see the next patient», and he walked off quickly. When I asked the front desk where he went, their response was «you were too slow.»
After switching doctors, other people in the field confirmed that many patients have the same complaints about this doctor.
SUMMARY
This office is a money-​making mill. It’s abundantly clear that the doctor doesn’t care at all about his patients, and his pathetic attitude pervades the entire staff. I would never let him cut me open.
I went to another orthopedic office after this terrible experience. They were courteous, patient, professional, and responsive. What a difference.

Wonderful staff. Dr Han is very professional and informative. He really made my experience great. I would recommend him. Made me feel very comfortable with my procedure. Follow up visits were quick and easy. fYI Tuesdays are not the day to schedule office visit. Very busy.

He helped me ease the pain on my right middle finger by giving some cortisone injections … unfortunately I will be needing surgery and just buying time. Dr. Hongshik Han is a very good hand doctor and very compassionate with his patients.

I was referred to Dr. Han for some outpatient surgery. He’s a nice guy, but he’s busy, so don’t expect a long, detailed consult. My surgery wasn’t a big deal (though in a tricky spot), so maybe that’s why I was in and out in five minutes, but it was still kind of scary to entrust someone you’ve known for far less than an hour to slice into your body.
He did my first surgery and then came back and told me that he needed to go back in and make a wider incision, so I had to go back in for a second surgery. Then, a month after the fact, the doctor who referred me to him in the first place told me that she got the lab results and that there was no need for the second surgery at all.
Four stars because necessary or not, he did a great job and you’d barely be able to tell the work he did. His office is clean, he’s calm and friendly.
Minus one star because of his office staff, (excluding Heather) who are nice to each other, but not very friendly with the rest of us… and obviously, for the unneeded surgery that set me back a good $ 1000.

I generally only write reviews when something or someone is really poor.
But I had to write that I had a great experience with Dr. Han and his office.
In November I had hand surgery to correct a genetic problem. My initial visit was very informative as Dr Han explained everything about my condition and what it would take to correct it surgically.
I felt so good about his manner and informative nature that I went ahead with the operation and it was a success. This isnt to say that another dr. couldnt have done it as well (but my original Dr. sent me to Dr. Han because he said that he is one of the best in Fresno for delicate surgeries) but he did do it very well. Dr. Han is a Plastic Surgeon and I believe specializes in these kinds of things.
As I said, his manner and attitude helped me make up my mind to see him. A really nice man.
