We have been getting our cupcakes here for a long time now, since Cupcakes opened and really have mostly all good things to say about them. The store is always clean, love that they ave samples out a lot :), the cupcakes are all great and the little cheesecakes are amazing too! I love that they have picks there in case you need them to decorate your cupakes (for a charge of course, but its very convenient) The service is okay… that is where I feel like they could improve, usually when ive gone in the staff seems bored and unhappy. They have never been rude or anything but they just seem… unhappy?
Other than that, we love them and will continue to use them for their cupcake services!

Cupcakes are dry and poor customer service! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Our very favorite place to go for cupcakes and cookies and they sell Fresno State ice cream. Its a cute little place, good prices, nice staff, and if course, very delicious food.

I just went in because I was craving cupcakes and when I arrived it looked empty and I was pretty weary but i mean who’s going to have a line at 630 pm in a bakery. I walked in and saw the showcase and saw about 10 flavors and I picked a carrot cupcake and two small red velvet cupcakes for my boyfriend. The shop was very cute and had its own theme that was placed back in the day and to me that was unique and it was a refreshing thing to see in Fresno. I payed $ 6.05 for the 3 cupcakes and at first I thought it was on the fence of being decently priced to a big pricy but once I bit into the carrot cupcake I immediately did not regret that money being spent! The cupcake was chilled and so moist! My boyfriend doesn’t typically like sweets but for him to love these cupcakes says something! I’m our opinion it was BETTER than eddies bakery! We will continue to come here for AMAZING YUMMY cupcakes!!!

I’ve had just about every flavor cupcake this place has as they are close to where I work and they always just pick these up for coworkers birthdays. I would never spend my money on these they are always the same, the cake is very dry and crumbles all over the place and their frosting leaves a weird film on the roof of my mouth almost like they use shortening in it or really cheap butter. The last time they bought some for s coworker I just passed, even free they aren’t good enough to eat.

This is a really cute shop. The cupcakes taste out of the oven and every flavor I’ve tried was absolutely wonderful. There are usually samples, which definitely don’t disappoint. I recommend trying the cheesecakes, they run pretty small (half dollar size) but they’re so savory it almost overrules its size. Depending on the size of your order, they package your cupcakes in the cutest box with an instagramable appearance. Overall in quality, it’s ⁸⁄₁₀ for me. Although, I do wish the prices weren’t so high. I understand you’re paying for the quality, but I’d appreciate some sort of discount/​deal when you buy in bulk. So, prepare to spend a bit on your sweet cheats. I think it’s one of the better sweet shops in the area since Fresno is basically a deserted island.

Amazing people. Amazing cupcakes. Everything literally made from scratch. Have been long times friends with 3 employee there. Had their cupcakes at my baby shower, they were the first to be gone. Delicious. I advice everyone to try it!

I will NEVER come to or order from this place AGAIN! I ordered 2 dozen mini cupcakes half chocolate, half vanilla all were supposed to have oreo frosting. At no point was I advised that the frosting itself was not frosting that is buttercream, but made of cream cheese. The issue is my mom and others at the party are allergic to cheese products. It was well into the cake cutting when this was noticed. I was told that we could not receive half of refund due to their HUGE error, but I could bring back the cupcakes and get whatever they had available on hand in the mini cupcakes. One what was in the display case was less than what I paid for. Two you can’t tell kids at a birthday party to give that cupcake back so we can go and get less than what we ordered in the first place. I disappointed furthermore that this information came not from the the girl behind the counter, but from the owner herself via a phone call with her employee to me. They have lost my business in the future, and have ensured that I travel down to the Tower District to purchase my cupcakes from Frosted who puts customers first. I would give them no stars if I could, but Unilocal doesn’t have that feature.

I LOVE the strawberry cupcakes!!! but they’re are the only ones I get! So I can’t exactly give an accurate review, I would say that the strawberry cupcakes are the best cupcakes I’ve had in Fresno. I’ve tried the sugar cookies and they’re a little too sweet for me. The banana pudding is also heavenly :)

I needed to bring cupcakes to a birthday party that I was going to. I called in the order the girl I talked to was friendly and helpful. I picked out an assortment Red Velvet, Lemon, Strawberry, Oreo, and Carrot Cake. It was to serve about a group of 20 so I purchased 2 dozen. The guest loved them from the presentation of how beautiful the cupcakes were to the MOST important part, which was the TASTE! Every flavor that the guest chose they truly enjoyed.
I only saw one guest who left a little bit of the frosting left to the side, so either they were full from dinner or maybe they couldn’t take eating anymore frosting? Hey it was a party and I didn’t want to CALL them out for not eating ALL the cupcake! Ha! Other than that I would have given the full 5 stars for this review.
The cost most might think is pricey, but I had NO problem with. I look at it this way. Did I want to buy the ingredients and work away in my kitchen preparing this? Did I even have the time to bake these? No and No. So why not have a bakery who are PROS do the job. It was so worth it!
Thanks Cupcakes Bakery for making me look like the hero that night. Totally the credit goes to YOU!

Ah-​Mae-​Zing. Amazing prices, amazing quality, and amazing taste. Never been disappointed in trying the variety of cupcakes.

Cute little bakery shop with lots of treats. Very clean, nice customer service and lots of choices. Prices are very reasonable. A great find in a little corner shopping center. The staff member was very polite and knowledgable. Would recommend to anyone.

I decided to stop here with my sister a few weeks ago and will never return. First when i walked in I noticed that this Cupcake Bakery did not have a lot of options, the interior was very plain and the girl behind the counter did not seem like she wanted to be there. Also it was quite warm in the building. Nevertheless, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. So I order a vanilla cupcake, an oreo cupcake a mini straberry for my sister and I. I figured that if one turned out to be bad then at least one of the other would be good.
To start all of the cupcakes seemed to have this wierd cream cheese like frosting andwith the same weird consistency. I swear I have never had cake or cupcake frosting like this before. The cake on the cupcakes had pretty good taste I think I most enjoyed the oreo. Thus, If I ended the review on this not they’d had a solid three stars.
However the events that transpired after I ate the cupcakes illicit this one star review. Both my sister and I got extremely sick. not even 24hrs after eating cupcakes from here and I was hurling everywhere. I could literally hear my stomach doing back flips as I was hunched over praying for it to end. You may be thinking that we (my sister and I) could have gotten sick from anything, but NO I had been out of town on business for 2 weeks and this cupcake place is the only food we had in common.
Went the doctor to rule out the flu and found out it was a food related illness we both had. Unfortunately these cupcakes were either not properly store in this over heated cupcake shop, or they were mishandled some time between preparation and sell to me. Either way I know I got very sick from consuming these mediocre cupcakes.

I was reading previous reviews of this place before I went here. A lot seemed to say that the cupcakes were dry and I have to agree.
However, the frosting is rich and delicious. It tastes homemade. The cupcakes really have great flavor.
I thought it was particularly neat how the cake batter actually has the topping baked into it. For example; the Oreo cupcake actually has Oreo cookie pieces inside of the cake.
The pricing really isn’t bad either, it’s about $ 3 or so per cupcake. Pretty reasonable.

Great for parties. My husband’s company party was last night and for desert we offered a cupcake display for desert. I have not seen cupcakes disappear that fast ever! Everyone was asking where I got them, I loved sharing my fun little secret. Thank you for making everyone’s sweet tooth that much sweeter. A+ best way to end the night ever!

Nice little cupcake shop with a good variety of cupcakes, mini cupcakes, mini cheesecakes and I think i also saw ice cream there. I ordered a dozen mini cupcakes and they were all very flavorful. My only complaint is they were on the dry side. Good thing the cupcakes were bursting with flavor though. I will definitely be coming back for more.

I’ve always really enjoyed these cupcakes when others have provided, it wasn’t until my mom had ordered 30 cupcakes to be ready weeks in advance for my graduation party that I have been let down by this place! It’s the day of my party and we are preparing for the guests, my mother calls at 12 pm just to reconfirm the order is to be picked up at 3 pm, they say yes, we are satisfied and trust they will follow through. 3 pm comes along and my dad goes to pick up the order, they say our order has already been picked up! My mom argues it has not been picked up already and we need our order because we had paid in advance and were relying on these for our party at the time we were told! They say they will make them ASAP. Once we get them they are sloppy and not what we were expecting. This experience definitely made us upset and put a delay on our day. After all that lets just hope they taste alright.

The cupcakes were delicious, but it was too sweet for my taste. I know Im eating dessert, but the cupcake should not be too diabetic, I would really appreciate a dessert that is perfectly sweetened. The taste was good though and cake was not too dry, almost perfect, but it was not perfectly moist either. I had the VANILLA chocolate chip cupcake and my sister the strawberry. Both very tasty and had good flavor to it. To be honest their cupcake tasted way better than a cupcake i got from SPRINKLES ATM in Los Angles in the Beverly Hills area
Packaging wise they need to be more attractive, too plain and nothing special. I love the shop, very cute, small and vintaged decorated. The server wearing the glasses however was not very friendly, I would think that a great server should be taking the orders and making people happy, not so glum and not enough expression.
