Don’t bother using the $ 29 discount coupon! They find every excuse not to honor it. Coupon is just a big come on. Husband has 2006 Toyota pick-​up that is just 4 cylinders and they charged him the regular price because it’s a «pick-​up.» Rip off.

These guys were real cool. Told ‘em I had issues with my timing the last time I got a smog and it had been readjusted since. They checked my timing for me pre smog. Didn’t charge me anything for it. Super polite too.

Went here because is was close and decently priced. I was having problems smoking because not all of my monitors were ready (I didn’t drive enough miles). I explained the situation and he hooked up the scanner and told me it wouldn’t pass and to Bring it back in the morning. I took it back and he hooked up the scanner again and told me it was ready and it would pass but he refused to run it because it would «bring down his score» he told me to take it back to whoever did it before because he wouldn’t. So I took it over to R&R on Clinton and weber and they said its ready an they’d be happy to smog it for me no problem.

This is the only place that I could find open until 6 pm during weekdays. I brought my Smart Car after work and even though the guy never done on Smart Cars he quickly figured out and finished in 15 — 20 mins.

Five stars for this smog test station! I went on a Saturday around 2pm and there was no wait! I was greeted as I got out of my vehicle, explained what I needed, and was told I could have a seat inside. Now, this place is no frills as far as the décor, but there was a very new-​looking comfy couch, air conditioning (wonderful on a 100+ Fresno day), and a tv. There is a gas station literally right next door in case you want a drink or snack, but you probably won’t need it because you’ll be in and out quickly. I was a little concerned I wouldn’t pass but was delighted to hear I had! I’ll give the customer service an A++, too! The gentleman who smogged my car informed me that my tire was looking flat, and after we settled up my bill, he assisted me in filling my tires!

It is very surprising A Star Smog doesn’t have anymore reviews being that the owner provides great customer service. Not only did it take a maximum 10 minute wait, but the price was also great at a $ 37 final pricing. I definately recomend this place! A++

A Star Smog is A+
Fast, cheap and certified Star Test Only station. I won’t go anywhere else from now on. I was in and out in 10 minutes for $ 40 with the certificate.
