Smog 4 Less

I would like to give this place a negative star but that’s not possible. I have been here before years ago to get smog so of course I go back to the same business if I had a good experience. Unfortunately this time it wasn’t. After they had me fill out the paper work they took my car into the shop. My car was never hooked up to a smog machine which was in the next lane and was going through the inspection only. After 5 minutes of them looking at my car and revving my engine he comes back and says where’s your carb sticker. At this point I was confused since I didn’t have problems in the past. Told them to check their system for my past visit but they say it’s a new owner and it’s not in the system. He charges me for the full smog inspection and paperwork. I wasn’t ok with this but ask him if I came back with the sticker would I be charged again. Yes, the whole amount as well. I told them that the car wasn’t even hooked up to a machine. After I paid them I went to my dealership which they order me a carb stick but gave me a temporary one to use in the mean time. I return to the same shop an hour later and he looks up the carb number, reads too much into, not understanding what he’s reading (their English wasn’t good to begin with), and tells me it’s no good. I saw on their system myself that the carb number was good and there was no problems. At this time I knew these people where just incompetent and just wanted to make a quick buck. I found this place in the past while driving down the street and needed a quick smog. I thought I would return because I had a good experience with them but not with this so call new owner. I been to other shops before where they would smog my car again for free if it doesn’t past the first time. This place wasn’t busy and I was their only customer at the time. They didn’t even perform the full routine check like drive my car on the smog machine and charges me the full amount and wanted to charge me again when I came back. Bad service and out for a quick buck.
